Jalapão, belezas de tirar o folego!

Quando estava pesquisando e selecionando os lugares que entrariam no livro 66 x Brasil, o Jalapão surgiu com um destino importante, uma região cheia de belezas naturais e talvez um pouco desconhecido de muitos brasileiros. Assim, resolvi fazer uma pesquisa mais apurada sobre a área.

A região do Jalapão é uma área localizada no leste do estado do Tocantins, Unidade de Conservação, constituída pelos municípios Lagoa do Tocantins, Novo Acordo, Lizarda, Mateiros, Novo Acordo, Ponte Alta do Tocantins, Santa Tereza do Tocantins e São Félix do Tocantins. O bioma dessa região é o cerrado. É uma área de grande importância ambiental para o Brasil, pois lá estão localizadas as nascentes dos afluentes das bacias hidrográficas do São Francisco, do Tocantins e do Parnaíba.

Essa região turística possui paisagens magnificas, mas a infraestrutura turística é ainda muito simples. Perguntei a Erich: “vamos encarar? ”. Concordamos que viajaríamos para o Jalapão e organizamos tudo para participarmos de uma “expedição”, iríamos em um carro adaptado para percorrer estradas de terra, daquele tipo que são propícias para aventuras “off road”. A expedição durou cinco dias e quatro noites e valeu muitooo a pena!!!

Se você é uma pessoa que prefere uma viagem com conforto, é melhor procurar outro destino mais acessível. Mas, se você, viajante, para ver paisagens deslumbrantes se dispõe a passar alguns dias em acomodações simples, então Jalapão é o destino certo. Você vai ver cenários de grande beleza, com rios de águas límpidas, chapadas, cachoeiras, além das famosas dunas de areias douradas. É possível também visitar o povoado Mumbuca, originado de um quilombo. É onde teve origem o conhecido artesanato em campim dourado. É uma viagem inesquecível!

Jalapão und seine atemberaubende  Natur!

Bei der Auswahl der Orte für unser Buch 66 x Brasilien stiessen wir auf Jalapao, eine Region voller Naturschönheiten und selbst für viele Brasilianer immer noch relativ unbekannt.

Das Naturschutzgebiet Jalapão liegt im Osten des Bundeslandes Tocantins und setzt sich aus mehreren Gemeinden zusammen und ist für Brasilien von großer ökologischer Bedeutung aufgrund seiner verschiedenen Quellflüssen.

Diese Tourismusregion offeriert faszinierende Landschaften, allerdings ist die touristische Infrastruktur  immer noch relativ basic. Ich fragte Erich, “mal ehrlich, sollen wir uns das wirklich antun, an solch einer “Expedition” teilnehmen  auf weitgehendst unbefestigten Straßen und Pisten.”

Die anstrengende Expedition dauerte fünf Tage und vier Nächte und , es lohnt sich !!! Genial. Falls Sie bereit sind, für ein paar Tage sich auf einfache Unterkünfte und Verpflegung einzulassen, dann werden sie dafür mit grandioser Natur entschädigt.

Sie werden Szenen von großer Schönheit sehen, durch Canyons marschieren, in Flüssen mit klarem erfrischendem Wasser baden, Tafelberge besteigen, Hochebenen durchfahren, Wasserfälle erleben, und daneben v.a. die berühmten orangefarbenen Sanddünen von Golden Sands erklimmen. Besuchen Sie auch das Dorf Mumbuca mit seinem Handwerk aus goldenem Gras und geniessen sie ein Bad in einem der Fervedouros!!!!  Fazit. Es ist eine unvergessliche Reise.

Jalapao – breathtaking nature

When I was searching for the places that would enter the book 66 x Brazil, Jalapão came up as an important destination, a region full of natural beauty and perhaps somehow still unknown for many Brazilians.

The Jalapão region is an area located in the eastern state of Tocantins, it is a Conservation Unit, made up of several municipalities.  It is an area of ​​great environmental importance to Brazil because there are located the headwaters of tributaries of the river basins of the São Francisco, Tocantins and Parnaíba.

This tourist region has magnificent landscapes, but the tourist infrastructure is still very simple. I asked Erich, “let’s discover this? “. So we agreed  to participate in an “expedition” there  on dirty roads, 1.000 km “off road”. The expedition lasted five days and four nights and it was tough, but really genial !!!

If you are a traveler willing to spend a few days in simple accommodation and with basic food, then Jalapão is the right destination. You will see scenes of great beauty, with rivers of clear water, plateaus, canyons, waterfalls, besides the famous dunes of golden sands. You take a bath in one of the Fervedouros and you also can  visit the village Mumbuca with its typical handicrafts of golden campim. It is an unforgettable trip!
