Paris, sempre uma nova surpresa

Já estive em Paris em 4 ocasiões. Inclusive já morei lá por 3 meses no verão de 2013. Mas a Cidade – Luz sempre tem surpresas e este ano chegamos a noite no aeroporto de Orly e antes de aterrissar tivemos a linda visão de Paris iluminada e a Torre Eiffel piscando loucamente suas luzes. Inesquecível! Se tiver opção de escolher sugiro chegar a noite sempre! 

Meu marido e parceiro de viagens sempre fala que só se conhece a cidade quem anda por ela e no caso de Paris isso é uma verdade inescapável. Essa cidade de ruas planas, a Lutecia dos romanos, nos convida a caminhar. Planeje seus passeios com calma e leve seus tênis mais confortáveis. Sua estadia será muito mais proveitosa. 

Em Paris não há como se evitar os locais mais famosos: Arco do Triunfo, Torre Eiffel, Louvre, Champs Elyssés, Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville. São os must-see e valem a pena. Mas depois disso tente arranjar tempo para fazer o que tornou Paris famosa: andar calmamente por seus boulevards, flanar, perder-se em cenários que parecem saídos de algum filme. Sugiro o bairro do Marais, de preferência no domingo. O resto da cidade vai estar com a maioria do comércio fechado mas o Marais vai estar numa animação deliciosa. Os jovens descolados estarão por lá, procure pelo “melhor falafel cidade” e enfrente a fila que já estará formada, vale a pena! 

Paris pode ser religiosa na Rue du Bac com a Capela da Medalha Milagrosa. Será sempre mundana e coquete no Moulin Rouge. Tem a Sacré-Coeur branca e irreal no topo de Montmartre chamando a oração enquanto que ao seu redor os artistas de rua pedem um trocado para se manterem.

Paris, immer wieder  neue Überraschungen

Ich war nun 4 mal in Paris und habe im Sommer 2013  drei Monate dort gelebt – Licht offeriert immer Überraschungen und in diesem Jahr kamen wir in der Nacht auf dem Flughafen Orly an und vor der Landung hatten wir eine schöne Aussicht auf Paris und den Eiffelturm mit seinen wie verzückt blinkenden Lichtern . Unvergesslich! Wenn Sie die Wahl haben,  dann sollten sie nachts ankommen!

Mein Mann und Reisepartner sagt immer, dass Sie eine Stadt nur dann kennen, wenn Sie sie zu Fuss erlaufen haben und das ist im Fall von Paris eine unbestreitbare Wahrheit. Diese Stadt der ebenen Straßen, die Lutetia der Römer, lädt uns zum Gehen ein. Planen Sie Ihre Reise in Ruhe und tragen Sie Ihre bequemsten Schuhe. Ihr Aufenthalt wird so noch  geniessenswerter werden.

In Paris gibt es keine Möglichkeit die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu vermeiden: der Triumphbogen, der Eiffelturm, Louvre, Champs Champs Elyssés , Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, sie sind das “Muss-Programm” und sind dies auch einfach wert. Aber danach nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, um das zu machen, was  Paris so berühmt macht: flanieren sie gemütlich auf seinen Boulevards, schlendern sie umher, verloren in Szenarien wie aus Filmkulissen.

Ich schlage das Marais-Viertel vor, vorzugsweise am Sonntag und seine Atmosphäre . Die Jugendlichen  suchen  nach der “besten Falafel in der Stadt” und bilden Warteschlangen, und dieses Ambiente ist es allemal wert!

Paris kann in der Rue du Bac mit der Kapelle der “Wunderbaren Medaille” religiös wirken, wird aber immer weltlich und kokettierend im Moulin Rouge bleiben. Es hat das weiße und unwirklich anmutende Sacre Coeur auf dem Montmartre zum Gebet aufrufend, während gleichzeitig  die Straßenkünstler um Aufmerksamkeit und ein kleines Trinkgeld buhlen.

Paris, always  new surprises

I have been in Paris on 4 occasions. Even since I lived there for 3 months in the summer of 2013. Light – always offers surprises and this year we arrived at night at Orly Airport and before landing we had a beautiful view onto Paris and the Eiffel Tower and its lights were like madly flashing. Unforgettable! If you have the option I suggest arriving there at night!

My husband and travel partner always says that you only know a city if you discover it by walking and in the case of Paris this is an inescapable truth. This city with flat streets, the Lutetia of the Romans, invites us to walk. Plan your trips with calm and carry your most comfortable shoes. Your stay will be much more enjoyable.

In Paris there is no way to avoid the most famous sites: Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Champs Elyssés , Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville. They are the “must-see” and simply worthfile.

But after that try to have time to do what Paris makes famous: walk calmly on its boulevards, strolling around, getting lost in scenarios that seem emerging from a movie. I suggest the Marais district, preferably on Sunday. The rest of the city will be with most businesses closed but the Marais will be full of delightful animation. The young hipsters are there, look for the “best falafel of city” and face the queue that is already formed, it is worth!

Paris may be religious in the Rue du Bac with the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal. Will always worldly and coquettish at the Moulin Rouge. His white and unreal Sacre Coeur on top of Montmartre calling prayers while around the street performers ask for some attention and small money.
