Vindimas é o período entre a colheita das uvas e início da produção do vinho. Época de celebrações por diversas regiões do país produtoras, as festas são compostas por cortejos, mercados de vinho, apresentações musicais, danças, a tradicional pisa da uva e bênção do primeiro mosto que é o sumo de uvas frescas resultante da prensagem da fruta e no caso é feito com os pés, com o desenvolvimento da vinicultura esta atividade passou a ser realizada por modernos equipamentos.
Tempos de colheitas, época característica pelo “vai e vem” dos trabalhadores pelos campos de cultivo e caminhões que transportam estas deliciosas frutas até as adegas para iniciar o processo de produção, e assim, vai florescendo cada localidade formando novo cenário que se mistura com a economia, história, tradições, identidades…
Os eventos culturais aos poucos vão voltando a acontecer e tive a oportunidade de conhecer uma bela porção da “Festa das Vindimas 2021 em Palmela”. A cidade está a cerca de 43 Km de Lisboa e sua programação este ano foi agendada para os dois primeiros fins de semana de setembro, o primeiro de 2 a 5, o qual visitei, e o segundo de 9 a 12, ambos com inúmeras atividades e diversões.
O Mercado dos Vinhos foi montado no Largo de São João Batista, onde funciona das 17 às 24 horas com controle de entrada das pessoas seguindo as normativas vigentes em decorrência da pandemia. O espaço contém estandes de vinte adegas expondo suas preciosidades, comidas regionais, animações e harmonicamente decorado com flores, graciosas mesas e barris de carvalho espalhados ao longo da praça, tudo necessário para deixar o ambiente acolhedor.
Em qualquer adega representada podemos adquirir uma taça por poucos cêntimos e em seguida pagar e abastecer por diversos vinhos que desejarmos saborear ou conhecer em algum expositor. É uma experiência agradabilíssima, pois além de apreciar diferentes sabores, o cenário é encantador e se visitarmos na altura do entardecer é lindíssimo com o pôr do sol ao fundo, as luzes a acender e mais o espetáculo do Castelo de Palmela iluminado compondo a paisagem…

A “Pisa da Uva e Bênção do Primeiro Mosto” foi realizada no domingo, 5 de setembro às 11:00 horas no Largo do Município com a Igreja de São Pedro engrandecendo o espetáculo, a edificação atual data da segunda metade do século XVI, porém há algumas referências documentais relativas ao ano de 1320 de acordo com o site da Câmara Municipal. Uma bela oportunidade de conhecer a cultura local.
A cerimônia inicia com o cortejo que transporta em cestos porções de uvas cultivadas no Concelho, em seguida são despejadas dentro de uma lagariça, próxima a Igreja, e as uvas são pisadas até surgir o primeiro mosto, na sequência é colhida uma amostra e analisada pelo Engenheiro Jacinto Pereira que afere o grau alcoólico, depois é colocado o líquido obtido em seis pequenos barris e levados até o altar para que seja realizada a bênção.
Em outro momento irão resultar vários litros de vinhos que serão distribuídos nas paróquias do Município para serem utilizados na celebração da Eucaristia. É uma bela tradição…
O espírito da festa é divulgar suas riquezas e sua cultura. Enaltece o trabalho árduo do seu povo que desenvolve a economia da região, como também, é um período de agradecimento a Deus pelo sucesso da colheita e pedir sua bênção para a glória de toda a empreitada.

WEINBERGE, Weinmarkt in Pisa da Uva…
Ernte ist der Zeitraum zwischen der Weinlese und dem Beginn der Weinproduktion.
Eine Zeit der Feierlichkeiten in verschiedenen Regionen des Erzeugerlandes, die Feste bestehen aus Prozessionen, Weinmärkten, Musikdarbietungen, Tänzen, dem traditionellen Treten der Trauben und der Segnung des ersten Mostes, dem Saft frischer Trauben.
Erntezeiten, charakteristische Zeit für das “Kommen und Gehen” der Arbeiter durch die Felder und Lastwagen, die diese köstlichen Früchte zu den Weingütern transportieren, um den Produktionsprozess zu starten, und so erblüht jeder Standort zu einem neuen Szenario, das sich mit der Wirtschaft, der Geschichte verbindet , Traditionen, Identitäten…
Die kulturellen Veranstaltungen finden nach und nach wieder statt und ich hatte die Gelegenheit, einen schönen Teil der „Festa das Vindimas 2021 in Palmela“ kennenzulernen. Die Stadt ist etwa 43 km von Lissabon entfernt und ihr Zeitplan war dieses Jahr für die ersten beiden Wochenenden im September geplant, das erste vom 2. bis 5. das ich besuchte, und das zweite von 9. bis 12., beide mit zahlreichen Aktivitäten und Vergnügungen.
Der Mercado dos Vinhos wurde in Largo de São João Batista eingerichtet, wo er von 17 Uhr bis Mitternacht betrieben wird, wobei der Zugang der Menschen gemäß den aufgrund der Pandemie geltenden Vorschriften kontrolliert wird. Der Raum enthält Stände aus zwanzig Kellern, die ihre Kostbarkeiten, regionale Speisen, Animationen und harmonisch dekoriert mit Blumen, anmutigen Tischen und Eichenfässern über den Platz verteilen, alles, was für eine einladende Atmosphäre erforderlich ist.
Bei jedem vertretenen Weingut können wir für wenige Cent ein Glas kaufen und dann verschiedene Weine, die wir bei einem Aussteller probieren oder entdecken möchten. Es ist eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung, da nicht nur verschiedene Geschmacksrichtungen zu genießen sind, sondern auch die Landschaft bezaubernd ist und wenn Sie in der Abenddämmerung besuchen, ist es wunderschön mit dem Sonnenuntergang im Hintergrund, den Lichtern und dem Spektakel des beleuchteten Schlosses von Palmela.

Die „Pisa da Grava und Bênção do Primeira Mosto“ fand am Sonntag, den 5. September um 11:00 Uhr im Largo do Município mit der Kirche São Pedro statt, die das Spektakel verstärkte, das aktuelle Gebäude stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Es gibt jedoch einige dokumentarische Hinweise, die sich auf das Jahr 1320 beziehen, laut der Website des Stadtrates. Eine großartige Gelegenheit, die lokale Kultur zu entdecken.
Die Zeremonie beginnt mit einer Prozession, bei der die Trauben der Gemeinde in Körben transportiert werden, dann werden sie in einen Weinkeller in der Nähe der Kirche geworfen und die Trauben werden getreten, bis der erste Most erscheint, dann wird eine Probe entnommen und analysiert von der Ingenieur Jacinto Pereira, der den Alkoholgehalt misst, dann wird die erhaltene Flüssigkeit in sechs kleine Fässer gefüllt und zum Altar gebracht, um die Segnung durchzuführen.

Harvest is the period between the grape harvest and the start of wine production.

The cultural events are gradually taking place again and I had the opportunity to get to know a nice part of the “Festa das Vindimas 2021 in Palmela”. The city is about 43 km from Lisbon and its schedule this year was planned for the first two weekends in September, the first from the 2nd to the 5th that I visited and the second from the 9th to the 12th, both with plenty of activities and amusements.
The Mercado dos Vinhos has been set up in Largo de São João Batista, where it operates from 5 p.m. to midnight, with people’s access being controlled according to the regulations in force due to the pandemic. The space contains stands from twenty cellars, which distribute their treasures, regional dishes, animations and harmoniously decorated with flowers, graceful tables and oak barrels, everything that is required for an inviting atmosphere.
At each of the represented wineries we can buy a glass for a few cents and then buy various wines that we would like to try or discover at an exhibitor. It is a very pleasant experience as not only are there different flavors to enjoy but the scenery is enchanting and if you visit at dusk it is beautiful with the sunset in the background, the lights and the spectacle of the illuminated Palmela Castle.
