Não foi a nossa primeira visita a Nuremberg, mas desta vez queríamos nos concentrar no mundialmente famoso Mercado de Natal de Crianças (Christkindlesmarkt).

Nós já fomos uma vez nesta metrópole da Francônia pertencente ao Estado Livre da Baviera

com cerca de 500 mil habitantes e reconhecida pela ótima qualidade de vida. Ficamos muito impressionados com a atmosfera do centro histórico, seu emblema do Kaiserburg, a muralha da cidade velha,

seus prédios históricos,

telhados,

casas estilo enxaimel,

Igrejas, torres, fontes,

pontes e museus.

Sem mencionar o fato de que durante o período do nacional-socialismo Nuremberg foi usad pelos nacional-socialistas como uma “cidade dos comícios do partido nazista” e propaganda nacional-socialista. A partir de novembro de 1945 foram realizados nessa cidade os julgamentos dos  principais criminosos nazistas.

Portanto, planeje visitar o Christkindlesmarkt com tempo suficiente para obter uma impressão geral desta cidade, de preferência,programe um fim de semana relaxante.

Mas agora é a hora de mergulhar neste Mercado de Natal e dividir com vocês algumas  impressões visuais – além dos cheiros, aromas, odores, fragrâncias, músicas e sons…um sonho de Natal…!!

Dica: visite também, no Mercado de Natal de Crianças de Nuremberg, a parte com barraquinhas das cidades-irmãs,

Nürnberg – weltberühmter Christkindlesmarkt

Es war nicht unser erster Besuch in Nürnberg, aber dieses Mal sollte vor allem der weltberühmte  Christkindlesmarkt im Mittelpunkt stehen.

Wir waren schon einmal in dieser fränkischen Metropole des Freistaates Bayern

mit seinen etwa 500.000 Einwohnern und anerkannter hoher Lebensqualität und waren schon damals sehr angetan von der Atmosphäre in der Altstadt, seinem Wahrzeichen der Kaiserburg, der alten Stadtmauer,

seinen historischen Gebäuden,

Dächern,

Fachwerkhäusern,

Kirchen, Türmen, Brunnen,

Brücken undMuseen.

Nicht unerwähnt sollte die Tatsache sein, daβ während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus   Nürnberg von den Nationalsozialisten als „Stadt der Reichsparteitage“   und nationalsozialistischer Propaganda miβbraucht wurde. Ab November 1945 fanden dann hier aber auch   die Nürnberger Prozesse gegen führende Kriegsverbrecher der nationalsozialistischen Diktatur statt.

Planen Sie also für einen Besuch des Christkindlesmarktes auch genügend Zeit dafür ein, einen Gesamteindruck von dieser lebenswerten Stadt bekommen zu können, am besten ein entspanntes Wochenende.

Nun aber ist es an der Zeit in diesen Christkindlesmarkt einzutauchen und Ihnen zumindest visuelle Eindrücke davon zu vermitteln – von den Gerüchen, Düften, Aromen, Musiken und Geräuschen ganz abgesehen…ein Weihnachtstraum…!!

It was not our first visit to Nuremberg, but this time we wanted to focus on the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt.

We were once in this Franconian metropolis of the Free State of Bavaria

with its approximately 500,000 inhabitants and recognized its high quality of life and we were already very impressed by the atmosphere in the old town, its emblem of the Kaiserburg, the old city wall,

UM RESTAURANTE MUITO ESPECIAL EM BOGOTÁ – COLÔMBIA

Um restaurante muito especial em Bogotá

Entre 2016 e 2017 eu tive oportunidade de conhecer Bogotá e algumas outras cidades colombianas como Medellin, Cartagena, Cali, Santa Marta, Valledupar, além do Eixo Cafeteiro.

Poderia falar de muitos sítios e paisagens especiais. Difícil escolher. Porém, quero compartilhar com vocês um restarurante que fez parte do meu cotidiano em Bogotá e que me cativou pela forma amável do atendimento, pela extrema qualidade da sua cozinha, tudo com preço muito acessível:  Fresh On Pots. Está situado próximo à Universidade Nacional da Colômbia, Calle 45  nº 27-45, Barrio la Soledad.

A  equipe formada por Astrid Zabaleta, pelo chefe executivo Diego Cotez, segundo Chefe Diego Tovar e o auxiliar de cozinha John Garcia

tem como conceito  “Se provee al cliente alimentos que ayuda a mantener y recuperar al  mejoramiento de la salud.  Queremos generar una cultura , y a la vez  que sea una actitud  voluntaria de la persona rompiendo todo esquema de que lo saludable es morir de hambre, no al contrario que deleiten de nuestros platillos y disfruten sabiendo que están comiendo saludable así sin mas ni menos  están determinando una buena  alimentación.”  Isso resulta em pratos muito saborosos como:

entre outros pratos, sempre acompanhados de saladas  especiais e as tradicionais sopas que fazem parte do menú colombiano.  Passando por Bogotá, vale a pena conferir.

Hue no Vietnã – imperial e quente/Hue in Vietnam – kaiserlich und heiß/Hue in Vietnam – imperial and hot

O que eu lembro hoje do Vietnã: estava muito quente, estávamos suando muito, muito e o trânsito era impressionante

e não se via nenhum acidente. O que para nós parecia um caos, para os vietnamitas, acostumados com esse trânsito, eram apenas ruas superlotadas.

Um passeio panorâmico nos trouxe

 

para Hue. Hue é um Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade, a antiga capital imperial e hoje uma atração muito popular para explorar a Cidadela Imperial, concebidacomo a Cidade Proibida de Pequim.

 

A família imperial morava aqui desde o início dos anos 1800 até meados dos anos 1900.

Cercado por um fosso e paredes com dois quilômetros de comprimento em cada lado,

a cidade imperial contém mais uma fortaleza interna, murada chamada “Cidade Proibida”, onde apenas a família do imperador vietnamita era permitida.

No caminho para nossa próxima parada, pudemos observar cenas exóticas como o vietnamita na sua bicicleta

ou essa senhora na rua. Uma outra realidade.

Depois da Cidade Imperial, , visitamos o Pagode Thien Meu.

Este Pagode, com sete pavimentos, é o símbolo oficial de Hue,

construído em 1601 com vista para o Rio Perfume e funciona como um mosteiro budista.

Portões enormes, levam a um complexo de edifícios e bonsais de jardim.

Finalmente, neste dia quente e muito úmido, visitamos também o túmulo do Imperador Tu Duc, que abriga um palácio em miniatura.

Nós terminamos este longo dia cansados, mas felizes por captar tantas impressões diferentes de um lugar tão exótico e especial.

Hue in Vietnam – kaiserlich und heiß

Was ich von diesem Tag in Vietnam erinnere: Es war sehr, sehr heiß, wir schwitzten viel, sehr beeindruckend auch dieser Verkehr

und wir sehen keinen Unfall in diesem für uns wie ein Chaos anmutenden Bewegungen auf den überfüllten Straßen.

Eine schöne landschaftliche Fahrt brachte uns

nach Hue. Hue ist Weltkulturerbe, die alte kaiserliche Hauptstadt und heute eine sehr beliebte Attraktion in Vietnam, um die kaiserliche Zitadelle nach Vorbild der verbotenen Stadt Pekings erbaut zu erkunden.

Die kaiserliche Familie lebte hier vom frühen 19. Jahrhundert bis in die Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts.

Umgeben von einem Wassergraben und zwei Kilometer langen Mauern auf jeder Seite,

beherbergte die kaiserliche Stadt eine weitere, innere, ummauerte Festung, die sogenannte “Verbotene Stadt”, in der nur die Familie des vietnamesischen Kaisers erlaubt war sich aufzuhalten.

Auf dem Weg zu unserem nächsten Stop konnten wir immer für uns exotisch anmutende  Beobachtungen machen  wie z.B. ihn auf seinem Fahrrad

Oder sie auf der Straβe. Eine andere Realität.

Als nächstes besuchten wir dann die Thien Meu Pagode.

 

Diese Pagode ist das offizielle Symbol von Hue, diese siebenstufigen Pagode

wurde 1601 erbaut Haus und überblickt den Parfümfluss. Sie dient als buddhistisches Kloster.

Groβe Tore führen zu einem Gebäudekomplex und einem Bonsai-Garten.

Schließlich besuchten wir an diesem heißen und sehr schwülen Tag auch das Grabmal des Kaisers Tu Duc mit einem Miniaturpalast.

Wir beendeten diesen Tag müde und erschöpft, aber auch sehr glücklich über die so vielen sehr verschiedenen gewonnenen Eindrücke.

 Hue in Vietnam – imperial and hot

What I remember from this day in Vietnam: it was very very hot, we were sweating a lot, very impressive also this traffic

and seeing no one accident in this for us like a chaos appearing movements on the overcrowded streets.

A scenic drive brought us

to Hue. Hue is a World Heritage Site, the old imperial capital and today a very popular attraction to explore the Imperial Citadel, modeled on Beijing’s Forbidden City.

The imperial family lived here from the early 1800s until the mid-1900s.

Surrounded by a moat and walls that are two kilometers long on each side,

the imperial city within contains yet another, inner, walled fortress called the “Forbidden City,” where only the Vietnamese emperor’s family was allowed.

The Imperial Citadel was home to the imperial family from the early 1800s until the mid 1900s, this huge complex, surrounded by a mote is comprised of three circles of ramparts and spans 1300 acres of relics of royal life.

On the way to our next stop we always could make for us exotic looking observations like him on his bike

or her in the street. A other reality.

Then next we visieted the Thien Meu Pagoda.

This Pagoda is  the official symbol of Hue, this seven-tiered pagoda

built in 1601 overlooks the Perfume River and functions as a Buddhist monastery.

Huge gates, lead to a complex of buildings and bonsai garden.

Finally at this hot and very humid day we visited also the tomb of the Emperor Tu Duc, which features a palace in miniature.

We finished this day tired but very happy about this so many different impressions we could collect and gain.

CONHECENDO OS EUA DE MOTORHOME/DIE USA MIT EINEM WOHNMOBIL BEREISEN/TOUR THE USA WITH A MOTORHOME

Olá!! Nossa viagem (de 21 dias, 10 no motorhome) começou em São Francisco, uma cidade de aproximadamente 900.000 habitantes, que é uma metrópole diversificada (culturas; credos; etnias; etc), onde pegamos o “RV” (recreational vehicle é como eles chamam o Motorhome) com destino Las Vegas, passando pelos principais parques no caminho (Yosemite; Sequoia; Bastow/Calico, cidade fantasma), com uma parada técnica em Fresno.

Tudo nos EUA é muito prático e nos supermercados há todos os insumos necessários (de luvas descartáveis à comida).

Os Camping grounds também são bem organizados e práticos. O “site” do “RV” tem variações (dos mais completos, com água, energia e esgoto = full hookups aos mais simples water/electric).

O Custo varia de 30 a 60 dolares a diária; nossa média ficou por volta dos US$ 50 (sempre Full Hookups). Quem optar pela ligação simples, pode descarregar dejetos por US$ 5,00 (em média), mas trás o desconforto de ter que desconectar água e energia e locomover o “RV” até a estação de despejo e, lá, fazer a ligação do tubo de esgoto; depois refazer tudo novamente…

Os equipamentos internos do Motorhome (geladeira; ar condicionado; micro-ondas; fogão; agua quente e luzes) funcionam basicamente por eletricidade e/ou gás (GLP).

Claro que alguns espaços são reduzidos, como por exemplo o banheiro que é apertadinho, mas a gente se adapta. Existem diversos tipos (tamanho, modelo, configuração interna, etc) de “RV”, fazendo com que essa limitação possa ser muito atenuada.

Quanto a dirigibilidade, é um “caminhãozinho”…. então como tal, tem que ter cuidado com velocidade, curvas, manobras, balanço lateral, etc….

No tocante aos parques e passeios: simplesmente maravilhosos (“coisa de cinema”, como diriam alguns). Parques limpos, com infraestrutura inclusive de alimentação (alguns com sightseeing bus = “ônibus de turismo” interno do parque)…

Por fim, como o espaço aqui é curto, uma dica essencial: use e abuse da internet (youtube, google, etc…) onde encontramos muitos blogs, filminhos, orientações, etc. de outros viajantes, em português e outras línguas…

e… vamo que vamo.

DIE USA MIT EINEM WOHNMOBIL BEREISEN

Hallo! Unsere Reise von 21 Tagen, davon 10 mit einem  Wohnmobil, begann in San Francisco, einer Stadt mit ungefähr 900.000 Einwohnern,  eine vielfältige Metropole bezüglich Kulturen, Religionen, Ethnien usw. Hier ist es, wo wir das “RV”    (recreational vehicle = Freizeitfahrzeug oder auch Wohnmobil genannt) nach Las Vegas in Empfang nahmen. Unsere Fahrt führte uns vorbei an den großen Parks wie Yosemite, Sequoia, und Barstow / Calico, einer Geisterstadt, mit einem technischen Stop in Fresno.

Alles in den USA ist sehr praktisch und in den Supermärkten gibt es alle notwendigen Vorräte (vom Einmalhandschuh bis zum Essen).

Die Campingplätze sind gut organisiert und sehr praktisch. Der Standplatz für das Wohnmobil offeriert verschiedene Varianten (von der kompletten mit Wasser, Energie und Abwasser bis zur einfachen mit nur Wasser / Strom).

Die Kosten variieren von 30 bis 60 Dollar pro Tag; unser Durchschnitt lag bei 50 Dollar (immer Full Hookups = Komplettanschluβ). Diejenigen, die sich für die einfache Variante entscheiden, können Abfälle für durchschnittlich 5,00 US-Dollar entsorgen, aber es gibt auch Unannehmlichkeiten wie z.B. die Wasser- und Energieverbindung abzutrennen und das “RV” zur Müll-Entleerungsstation zu bringen und dort das Abwasserrohr usw usw…; und das dann immer…!!!

Die Innenausstattung des Wohnmobils (Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Mikrowelle, Herd, Warmwasser und Beleuchtung) funktioniert grundsätzlich mit Strom und / oder Gas.

Natürlich sind die Räumlichkeiten reduziert wie zum Beispiel das Bad, das eng ist, aber wir passen uns eben an. Es gibt jedoch verschiedene Typen (Größe, Modell, interne Konfiguration usw.) von Wohnmobilen.

Was die Fahrbarkeit angeht, ist es wie ein kleiner “Lastwagen” …. also muss man vorsichtig sein mit Geschwindigkeit, Kurven, Manövern, Seitenausgleich, usw ….

Was die Parks und das Fahren darin angeht: einfach wunderbar, “wie in einem Film”, wie manche sagen würden. Saubere Parks einschließlich Lebensmittelinfrastruktur und einige Parks haben sogar Sightseeing-Busse im Angebot.

Schließlich noch ein wesentlicher Tipp: Nutze ausgiebig das Internet wie Youtube, Google, etc… Hier fanden wir viele Blogs, Skripte, Richtlinien usw. von anderen Reisenden auf Portugiesisch und in anderen Sprachen …

Und zuletzt … lass uns losfahren.

TOUR THE USA WITH A MOTORHOME

Hello! Our journey of 21 days, including 10 with a motorhome, started in San Francisco, a city of approximately 900,000 inhabitants, a diverse metropolis in terms of cultures, religions, ethnicities, etc. Here was it where we received the “recreational vehicle” (RV) or motorhome called) for our tour to Las Vegas. Our drive brought us to the large Parks such as Yosemite, Sequoia, and also to Barstow / Calico, a ghost town and with a technical stop in Fresno.

Everything in the USA is very convenient and in the supermarkets there you find all the necessary supplies (from disposable gloves to food).

The campsites are very well organized and very convenient. The ssite for the camper offers various variants (from the complete one with water, energy and wastewater to the simple version with only water / electricity).

The cost varies from 30 to 60 US$ per day; our average was 50 US$ (always full hookups). Those who opt for the simple version can dispose of waste for an average of 5 US$, but there are also inconveniences such as: to disconnect the water and energy connection and bring the “RV” to the garbage emptying station and there then the sewage pipe etc etc…; and this then always…!!!

The interior of the motorhome (fridge, air conditioning, microwave, stove, hot water and lighting) basically works with electricity and / or gas.

Of course, the space is reduced, such as the bathroom, which is narrow, but we just adapt ourselves. However, there are different types of RVs regarding size, model, internal configuration  etc.

Regarding driveability it’s like a little “truck”…so you have to be careful with speed, turns, maneuvers, side balancing, etc.!

As for the parks and the driving in it: it is just wonderful “like in a movie”,as some would say. Clean Parks including food infrastructure and some parks even have sightseeing buses on offer.

Finally, an essential tip: Use the Internet extensively like Youtube, Google, etc.! Here we found many blogs, scripts, guidelines etc. from other travelers in Portuguese and in other languages.

LITORAL SUL DA PARAÍBA/DIE SÜDKÜSTE VON PARAÍBA/THE SOUTH COAST OF PARAÍBA

O Brasil tem quase 8.000 km de costa recheado com praias de grande beleza. A região nordeste concentra muitas das belas praias do nosso país. A Paraíba tem138 km de praias belas e as do litoral sul tem fácil acesso.

Erich eu e visitamos uma parte do litoral sul paraibano e dividimos com vocês um pouco do que vimos por lá.

Iniciamos nosso passeio parando em uma parte da cidade onde é possível ter uma vista de Cabo Branco e Tambaú e a a partir daí, seguimos para a Barra de Gramame. Praia linda, com mar tranquilo e muitas barracas para você passar o dia, almoçar por lá.

Depois de Gramame, seguimos para a Praia do Amor e fizemos uma foto na famosa Pedra Furada, que somente aparece quando a maré está baixa.

A nossa próxima parada foi a Praia da Jacumã, distante 29 km, a localidade com mais infraestrutura do litoral sul da Paraíba, com muitas casas de veraneio. A praia não se encontra em boas condições pois parte das casas à beira-mar foram destruídas pelo mar e por ordem judicial do Patrimônio da União.

O nosso passeio continuou e chegamos em um lugar com uma vista paradisíaca: mirante entre as praias de Carapibus e Tabatinga. Lindo demais!!!

Após esse mirante chegamos no Mirante da praia de Tambaba, outro ponto com vista deslumbrante.

Desse ponto pudemos avistar os cânions da praia de Tabatinga, maravilha da natureza!

Descemos para a famosa praia de Tambaba.

A praia de Tambaba, distante 39 km de João Pessoa, está localizada à Barra de Garaú e nela foi instalado o primeiro campo de naturismo oficial da região nordeste, o segundo do Brasil. Quando você chega na praia, há uma parte onde as pessoas estão vestidas e há o acesso, através de uma falésia, da parte naturista, onde somente acessam as pessoas que realmente vão praticar o naturismo.

Se esse não for o seu caso, você fica na primeira parte da praia, foi onde ficamos.

Depois de Tambaba, voltamos pela PB-008 e fomos a praia de Coqueirinho. Há uma parte com uma baía tranquila (Coqueirinho Sul), pequena, ótima para banho, porém, você paga R$ 30,00 somente para sentar nas cadeiras. Na outra parte da praia, com o mar mais revolto e agitado, há uma grande concentração de barracas. Quando chegamos fomos imediatamente abordados pelos garçons oferecendo mesa e cardápio para que ficássemos por ali. Nessa parte você não paga para sentar, apenas paga o seu consumo.

Das praias visitadas, as que nos encantaram pela beleza espetacular foram Carapibus, Tabatinga, Coqueirinho Sul e a pequena praia de Tambaba, a parte que não é para a prática de naturismo.

Você pode alugar um carro e ir visitando cada uma das praias. O acesso principal é feito pela rodovia estadual PB -008 e a partir dela há os acessos para as praias. Alguns desses acessos não são pavimentados. As agências de turismo oferecem passeio ao Litoral Sul para visitar Barra de Gramame, Praia do Amor, Coqueirinho e Tambaba, com a praia Bela como opcional por R$ 60,00 por pessoa. No hotel onde estávamos a agência de turismo cobrava R$ 95,00 por pessoa. Tinha outra agência que cobrava R$ 65,00 por pessoa num automóvel tipo Doblò, mas o passeio somente aconteceria se tiver no mínimo 3 pessoas. Há também o passeio de buggy, o preço era de R$ 370,00, se fosse apenas o casal. Nesse caso, o trajeto não é realizado totalmente pelo litoral, o buggy segue pela PB-008 e entra nos acessos às praias. No nosso caso, fizemos esse passeio de taxi (taxista Pedro – 819393-2679, pagamos R$ 200,00).

DIE SÜDKÜSTE VON PARAÍBA

Brasilien hat fast 8.000 km Küste mit schönen Stränden. Auf den Nordosten des Landes  konzentrieren sich sehr viele dieser wunderschönen Strände. Paraíba verfügt über 138 km Strände und ihre Südküste offeriert zudem einen leichten Zugang.

Erich und ich besuchten einen Teil dieser Südküste von Paraiba und möchten unsere Impressionen gerne mit Ihnen teilen.

Wir beginnen unsere Tour mit einem ersten Zwischenstopp mit Blick auf Cabo Branco und Tambaú, von dort ging es dann weiter   nach Barra de Gramame. Ein schöner Strand mit ruhigem Meer und vielen kleinen einfachen Restaurants, um dort den Tag zu verbringen und Mittag zu essen.

Von Gramame aus fuhren wir zum Strand Praia do Amor und fotografierten dort den bekannten Felsen Pedra Furada, der nur bei Ebbe sichtbar wird.

Unser nächster Halt war in Jacumã Beach, 29 km von João Pessoa entfernt, der bekannteste Ort an der Südküste von Paraíba, mit sehr vielen Sommerhäusern. Der Strand ist nicht in bestem Zustand, da ein Teil der Häuser durch das Meer und einer Gerichtsverordnung des Küstenschutzes folgend  zerstört wurden.

Unsere Tour führte uns weiter an einen Ort mit einer paradiesischen Aussicht: ein Aussichtspunkt zwischen den Stränden von Carapibus und Tabatinga.

Danach erreichen wir Tambaba Beach, ein weiterer Ort mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Von dort aus konnten wir die wuchtigen Felsklippen des Strandes von Tabatinga sehen, ein Wunder der Natur!

Dann steigen wir hinunter zum berühmten Tambaba Strand.

Der Strand Tambaba ist 39 km von João Pessoa entfernt und befindet sich in Barra de Garaú. Es war der erste offizielle FKK-Strand im Nordosten, der zweite in ganz Brasilien.

Wenn Sie am Strand ankommen, gibt es einen Teil, wo die Leute bekleidet sind und es gibt einen Zugang durch eine Klippe zum FKK-Bereich.

Tambaba

Von Tambaba aus  fuhren wir dann anschlieβend auf der PB-008   zum Strand von Coqueirinho. Es gibt einen Bereich mit einer ruhigen Bucht (Coqueirinho Sul), klein, ideal zum Baden, aber Sie zahlen 30 R$, nur um dort auf Liegestühlen sitzen zu dürfrn. Auf der anderen Seite des Strandes mit der rauen und aufgewühlten See gibt es eine große Konzentration von barracas (einfache Strandkneipen/Kioske). Als wir ankamen wurden wir sofort von sehr vielen Kellnern eingeladen uns doch zu setzen. In diesem Teil zahlen Sie nichts, um sich zu setzen, Sie zahlen nur Ihren Konsum.

Von den besuchten Stränden bezauberten uns Carapibus, Tabatinga, Coqueirinho Sul und der kleine Nicht-FKK-Bereich des Strandes von Tambaba.

Sie können ein Auto mieten und jeden dieser Strände besuchen. Der Hauptzugang erfolgt über die Straβe PB-008. Einige dieser Zugangsstraβen sind allerdings nicht asphaltiert. Reisebüros bieten Ausflüge zu den Stränden der Südküste für etwa 60 R$ pro Person an. Da die Preise sehr variieren lohnt es sich sehr, sich über die Art und Weise des Ausfluges zu informieren.

In unserem Fall haben wir unseren Ausflug mit einem Taxi nach unseren Bedürfnissen organisiert und wir waren sehr zufrieden damit (Taxifahrer Pedro – 819393-2679, wir haben 200 R$ bezahlt).

THE SOUTH COAST OF PARAÍBA

Brazil has nearly 8,000 km of coastline with beautiful beaches. Many of these beautiful beaches are concentrated in the northeast of the country. Paraíba has 138 km of beaches and its south coast also offers easy access to them.

Erich and I visited a part of this south coast of Paraiba and we would like to share our impressions with you.

We start our tour with a short first stopover with views of Cabo Branco and Tambaú, from there we went on to Barra de Gramame. A beautiful beach with calm sea and many small simple restaurants to spend the day there and having lunch.

From Gramame we drove to the beach Praia do Amor and photographed there the famous rock Pedra Furada, which is visible only at low tide.

Our next stop was at Jacumã Beach, 29 km from João Pessoa, the most famous place on the south coast of Paraíba with many summer houses. The beach itself is not in good condition as part of the houses were destroyed by the sea and a court order of coastal protection.

Our tour took us further to a place with a paradisiacal view: a lookout point between the beaches of Carapibus and Tabatinga.

Afterwards we arrived at Tambaba Beach, another place with a breathtaking view. From there we could see the mighty cliffs of the beach of Tabatinga, a wonder of nature!

Then we descend down to the famous Tambaba beach.

Tambaba Beach is 39 km from João Pessoa in Barra de Garaú located. It was the first official nudist beach in the northeast, the second in all Brazil.

When you arrive at the beach, there is a section where people are clothed and there is access to the nudist area through a cliff path.

From Tambaba we drove then on the PB-008 back to the beach of Coqueirinho. There is an area with a quiet bay (Coqueirinho Sul), small, ideal for swimming, but you pay R $ 30 just to sit there on deckchairs. On the other side of the beach with the rough and churning sea there is a great concentration of barracas (simple beach pubs / kiosks). When we arrived there we were immediately invited by many waiters to sit down to eat and to drink. In this part you pay nothing to sit, you only pay for your consumption.

From the visited beaches we were charmed by Carapibus, Tabatinga, Coqueirinho Sul and the small non-nudist area of ​​the beach of Tambaba.

You can rent a car and visit any of these beaches. The main access is via the road PB-008. However, some of these access roads are not paved. Travel agencies offer trips to the south coast beaches for around R $ 60 per person. Since the prices vary a lot it is worthwhile to get informed about the kind of the excursion.

In our case we organized finally our trip by taxi according to our needs and we were very happy with it (taxi driver Pedro – 819393-2679, we paid 200 R $).
