Taipé ou Taipei é a capital de Taiwan e está localizada na ilha de mesmo nome. É uma cidade cosmopolita com quase três milhões de habitantes de acordo com o site Worldometer . Ela é uma cidade cheia de vida, animada, com ruas comerciais diversificadas e muitos atrativos turísticos histórico-culturais e naturais.

Além disso, ela é também um centro industrial. Taipei é uma cidade que se desenvolveu muito durante os últimos anos.

Durante a ocupação japonesa entre 1895 e 1945, Taipei viveu avanços significativos no seu processo de modernização. Logo depois disso, Taipei serviu como sede dos nacionalistas depois que os comunistas expulsaram o governo de Chiang Kay-shek do continente da China em 1949. Taipei ganhou o título de município especial em 1967, proporcionando uma posição semelhante à de uma província.

Esta agitada cidade centenária no Mar da China Oriental está situada a 23 quilômetros a oeste da cidade portuária de Keelung. Hoje a maior e mais moderna cidade do país, Taipei não esqueceu sua história culturalmente rica. Com uma economia atualmente invejável, as principais indústrias de Taipé são as de fabricação de frutas, conservas e açúcar.

Erich e eu visitamos Taipé durante uma viagem de navio que realizamos no Sudeste Asiático antes da pandemia do Coronavírus.

Um dos aspectos de Taipei que mais nos chamou a atenção foi olhar para o céu e avistar o Taipei 101, um dos maiores arranha-céus do mundo, com seus 508 metros de altura, um dos cartões postais mais famosos de Taipei.

O objetivo desse post é apresentar uma visão geral dessa cidade cheia de encantos. Por isso selecionamos uma lista, de acordo com nossa opinião, de dez atrações turísticas que vale a pena destacar em Taipei:

Taipeh ist die Hauptstadt von Taiwan und liegt auf der gleichnamigen Insel. Laut der Worldometer-Website ist es eine kosmopolitische Stadt mit fast drei Millionen Einwohnern. Es ist eine Stadt voller Leben mit abwechslungsreichen Einkaufsstraßen und vielen historischen, kulturellen und natürlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Darüber hinaus ist es auch ein Industriezentrum. Taipeh ist eine Stadt, die sich in den letzten Jahren sehr stark fortentwickelt hat.

Während der japanischen Besatzung zwischen 1895 und 1945 erlebte Taipeh bedeutende Fortschritte in seinem Modernisierungsprozess. Kurz darauf diente Taipeh als Hauptquartier der Nationalisten, nachdem die Kommunisten 1949 die Regierung von Chiang Kay-shek vom chinesischen Festland vertrieben hatten. 1967 erhielt Taipeh den Titel einer Sondergemeinde, was einer Position ähnlich der einer Provinz entspricht.

Diese geschäftige, jahrhundertealte Stadt am Ostchinesischen Meer liegt 23 Kilometer westlich vom Hafen Keelung. Heute ist Taipeh die größte und modernste Stadt des Landes und hat seine kulturell-reiche Geschichte nicht vergessen. Mit einer derzeit beneidenswerten Wirtschaft sind die Hauptindustrien in Taipeh die Herstellung von Obst, Konserven und Zucker.

Erich und ich besuchten Taipeh während einer Kreuzfahrt, die wir vor der Coronavirus-Pandemie in Südostasien unternommen haben.

Einer der Aspekte von Taipeh, der unsere Aufmerksamkeit am meisten auf sich zog, war der Blick in den Himmel auf den Taipei 101, eines der höchsten Wolkenkratzer der Welt, mit seinen 508 Metern Höhe, eine der berühmtesten Postkartenansicht von Taipeh.

Taipei is the capital of Taiwan and is located on the island of the same name. According to the Worldometer website it is a cosmopolitan city of nearly three million people. It is a city full of life with varies shopping streets and many historical, cultural and natural attractions.

In addition it is also an industrial center. Taipei is a city that has developed a lot in recent years.

During the Japanese occupation between 1895 and 1945 Taipei saw significant advances in its modernization process. Shortly thereafter, Taipei served as the nationalist headquarters after the Communists drove the Chiang Kay-shek government from mainland China in 1949. In 1967 Taipei received the title of special parish, which corresponds to a position similar to that of a province.

This bustling centuries-old city on the East China Sea is 14 miles west of Keelung Port. Today Taipei is the largest and most modern city in the country and has not forgotten its culturally rich history. With an enviable economy currently the main industries in Taipei are fruits, canned food and sugar manufacture.

Erich and I visited Taipei during a cruise we took before the coronavirus pandemic in Southeast Asia.

One of the aspects of Taipei that caught our attention the most was the sky-view of Taipei 101, one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world, at 508 meters, one of the most famous postcard views of Taipei.

The purpose of this post is to give you an overview of this attractive city. For this reason, we have selected a list of ten tourist attractions that are worth highlighting in Taipei:

Gramado é uma charmosa cidade localizada no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, com uma população estimada de aproximadamente 37 mil habitantes e distante em torno de 117 km da capital Porto Alegre, o que equivale a mais ou menos 1 hora e 40 minutos de viagem.

Ela é visitada por milhares de turistas anualmente, eu e Erich já estivemos lá duas vezes e a visitaremos novamente brevemente. A época em que Gramado mais visitantes é a partir do mês de outubro até dezembro quando as pessoas a visitam para apreciar a bela decoração natalina e seus eventos característicos desse período. Gramado possui muitos atrativos turísticos que atendem a diferentes gostos além de uma boa infraestrutura turística. Nesse post vamos enfatizar o parque Mini Mundo.

Trata-se de um parque idealizado por um pai e um avô que quiseram presentear suas duas crianças com um mundo de fantasia em miniatura que encantam até hoje os pequenos e os adultos.

Erich e eu tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer o Mini Mundo quando tivemos o prazer de nos hospedar no Hotel Rita Höppner. O parque fica em frente ao hotel e pertence ao mesmo grupo proprietário desse hotel.

Esse parque possui miniaturas de prédios de diversos lugares do planeta reproduzidos de forma fiel ao edifício original. Eu, como arquiteta, me encantei em apreciá-los. É lindo demais! Trata-se de um passeio agradável ao ar livre (nesse tempo de pandemia, as atividades em espaços abertos são muito bem-vindas) e muito instrutivo!

Além de miniaturas você vai encontrar loja de souvenires, roupas para crianças da grife Mini Mundo, serviço de alimentação, espaço infantil e a oficina onde são produzidas as réplicas dos prédios.

Gramado ist eine charmante Stadt im Bundesstaat Rio Grande do Sul mit einer geschätzten Bevölkerung von etwa 37.000 Einwohnern und etwa 117 km von der Hauptstadt Porto Alegre entfernt, was einer Fahrtzeit von etwa 1 Stunde und 40 Minuten entspricht.

Es wird jährlich von Tausenden von Touristen besucht, Erich und ich waren schon zweimal dort und werden es bald wieder besuchen.

Die Zeit, in der Gramado mehr Besucher hat, ist von Oktober bis Dezember, wenn die Leute es besuchen, um die schöne Weihnachtsdekoration und die charakteristischen Ereignisse dieser Zeit zu genießen. Lesen Sie hier mehr über die Stadt Gramado.

Gramado hat neben einer guten touristischen Infrastruktur viele touristische Attraktionen für unterschiedliche Geschmäcker zu bieten. In diesem Beitrag werden wir den Mini Mundo Park in den Mittelpunkt stellen.

Es ist ein Park, der von Vater und Großvater konzipiert wurde, die ihren beiden Kindern eine Miniatur-Fantasiewelt präsentieren wollten, die noch heute Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen verzaubert.

Erich und ich hatten die Gelegenheit, das Mini Mundo kennenzulernen, als wir das Vergnügen hatten, im Hotel Rita Höppner zu übernachten. Der Park befindet sich nahe dem Hotel und gehört derselben Gruppe an, die auch dieses Hotel besitzt.

Dieser Park offeriert Miniaturgebäude aus verschiedenen Teilen unseres Planeten, die originalgetreu nachgebaut wurden. Als Architekt freute ich mich darüber und schätzte dies sehr. Es Ist sehr schön!

Es ist ein angenehmer Outdoor-Spaziergang (in dieser Zeit der Pandemie sind Outdoor-Aktivitäten sehr willkommen) und sehr lehrreich!

Neben den Miniaturen finden Sie einen Souvenirshop Kinderbekleidung der Marke Mini Mundo, Gastronomie, einen Kinder-Spielbereich und eine Werkstatt, in der Nachbauten der Gebäude hergestellt werden.

Mini Mundo, a park that will delight children and adults

Gramado is a charming town in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with an estimated population of about 37,000 people and about 117 km from the capital, Porto Alegre, which is about a 1 hour and 40 minute drive away.

It is visited by thousands of tourists every year, Erich and I have been there twice and will visit it again very soon.

The time when Gramado has more visitors is from October to December when people visit to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations and characteristic events of that season. Read more about the city of Gramado here.

In addition to a very good tourist infrastructure, Gramado has many tourist attractions to offer for different tastes. In this post we will focus on Mini Mundo Park.

It’s a park that was designed by a father and grandfather who wanted to present to their two children a miniature fantasy world that still enchants children and also adults alike today.

Erich and I had the opportunity to get to know the Mini Mundo when we had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Rita Höppner. The park is located near the hotel and belongs to the same group that owns this hotel.

This park offers miniature buildings from different parts of our planet that have been faithfully recreated. As an architect I was happy about it and appreciated it very much. It is very nice!

It’s a fun outdoor stroll (during this time of the pandemic, outdoor activities are very welcome) and very educational!

In addition to the miniatures, you will find a souvenir shop for children’s clothing from the Mini Mundo brand, gastronomy, a children’s play area and a workshop in which replicas of the buildings are made.

Londres – Como se locomover – nossa experiência com o cartão Oyster/London – Fortbewegung – unsere Erfahrung mit der Oyster Card/London – Getting Around – Our Oyster Card Experience

Londres é uma cidade com mais de oito milhões de habitantes, charmosa e com muitos atrativos.

Acreditamos que é uma cidade para você conhecer por partes e com tranquilidade. Foi nessa cidade onde iniciamos e terminamos nossa viagem de volta ao mundo, veja o post sobre essa viagem aqui.

Neste post vamos enfatizar a nossa experiência em se locomover em Londres usando o cartão Oyster no transporte público.

Sempre que chegamos em uma nova cidade gostamos de usar no primeiro dia um ônibus tipo hop on hof. Porém, no caso de Londres, foi diferente. Erich já havia visitado a cidade quase quarenta vezes, sempre à trabalho e eu não a conhecia ainda. Além disso, visitamos Londres em janeiro, inverno, quando muitos dias são cinza, pode chover e nevar. Por isso, optamos por não usar os ônibus de turismo, aliás, vi três desses ônibus de companhias diferentes.

Sendo assim, relacionamos os lugares que gostaríamos de visitar e o fizemos usamos o metrô, que é chamado e sinalizado como “underground”.

Como permanecemos em Londres menos que uma semana, a melhor opção para nos deslocarmos em transporte público foi o cartão Oyester.

Como funciona:

Você pode comprar diretamente nas máquinas localizadas nos metrôs, nos centros de visitantes, em todas as estações de metrô, na Tamlink Shop, na Croydon. Esse cartão, quando você vai comprar, você escolhe como usar, ele pode ser usado para ônibus e bonde, para metro, para fazer viagens e se você quer pagar conforme vai usando-o.

O cartão custa cinco pounds e você acrescenta os créditos que quiser e precisar. Nós primeiro compramos vinte pounds de crédito e depois acrescentamos mais. Caso você não use todos os créditos, você pode receber de volta, depois de 48horas. Nós preferimos guardar o cartão Oyester porque os créditos não expiram e podemos usar quando voltarmos, pois, quando a pandemia terminar, vamos voltar ao nosso ritmo constante de viagens.

London – Fortbewegung – unsere Erfahrung mit der Oyster Card

London ist eine Stadt mit mehr als acht Millionen Einwohnern, charmant und mit vielen Attraktionen.

Wir glauben, dass es eine Stadt ist, die man teilweise und in Ruhe entdecken kann. In dieser Stadt haben wir unsere Weltreise begonnen und beendet, siehe auch den Beitrag über diese Reise hier.

In diesem Post werden wir Ihnen nun unsere Erfahrungen bezüglich der Fortbewegung in London mit der Oyster Card und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln vorstellen.

Immer wenn wir in einer neuen Stadt ankommen, nutzen wir normalerweise am ersten Tag gerne einen Hop-On-Hop-Of-Bus. Im Fall von London war es jedoch anders. Erich hatte die Stadt fast vierzig Mal besucht, immer geschäftlich und ich kannte ihn damals noch nicht. Außerdem besuchten wir London schon im Januar im Winter, dann, wenn viele Tage grau sind, es regnen und sogar schneien kann.

Deshalb haben wir uns entschieden, dieses Mal die Touristenbusse nicht zu benutzen, tatsächlich aber habe ich drei dieser Busse von verschiedenen Unternehmen gesehen.

Daher haben wir uns die Orte aufgelistet, die wir besuchen wollten und zwar mit der U-Bahn, die als „UNDERGROUND“ bezeichnet und signalisiert wird.

Da wir weniger als eine Woche in London waren, war dies die beste Möglichkeit, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln herum zu reisen, die Oyester Card.

Wie funktioniert dies:

Sie können direkt an den Automaten in den U-Bahnen, in Besucherzentren, in allen U-Bahn-Stationen, im Tamlink-Shop in Croydon einkaufen. Falls Sie diese Karte kaufen, wählen Sie, wie Sie sie verwenden möchten, sie kann für Bus und Straßenbahn, für die U-Bahn, für Reisen und wie Sie zu zahlen beabsichtigen je nach Verwendung.

Die Karte kostet fünf Pfund und Sie fügen so viele Credits hinzu, wie Sie möchten und benötigen. Wir kauften zuerst für zwanzig Pfund Kredit und fügten dann jeweils weitere hinzu. Falls Sie nicht alle Credits aufbrauchen, können Sie diese nach 48 Stunden zurückerstattet bekommen.

Wir zogen es vor, die Oyester-Karte zu behalten, da das Guthaben nicht verfällt und wir sie bei einer Rückkehr nach London wieder verwenden können, was wir nach Ende der Pandemie wohl wieder früher oder später tun werden.

London – Getting Around – Our Oyster Card Experience

London is a city of over eight million people, charming and full of attractions.

We believe that it is a city that can be explored partially and in peace. In this city we started and ended our world trip, see also the article about this trip here.

In this post we will now share our experiences with getting around in London with the Oyster card and public transport.

Whenever we arrive in a new city we usually like to use a hop-on, hop-of bus on the first day. In the case of London, however, it was different. Erich had visited the city almost forty times, always on business, and I didn’t know him then. We also visited London in winter in January when many days are gray, it can rain and even snow.

So we decided not to use the tourist buses this time, but in fact I saw three of these buses from different companies.

Therefore we have listed the places that we wanted to visit and that with the subway, which is designated and signaled as “UNDERGROUND“.

Since we were in London for less than a week this was the best way to get around using public transport, the Oyester Card.

How does this work:

You can buy directly from the machines in the subways, in visitor centers, in all subway stations, in the Tamlink shop in Croydon. In the event that you purchase this card, choose how you want to use it, it can be for buses and trams, for the subway, for travel and how you intend to pay depending on how you use it.

The card costs five pounds and you add as many credits as you want and need. We bought credits for twenty pounds first and then added more at a time. If you do not use up all credits, you can get them refunded after 48 hours.

We preferred to keep the Oyester card as the balance does not expire and we can use it again when we return to London, what we will probably do again sooner or later after the pandemic ends.

Natal é a capital do Rio Grande do Norte e de acordo com o censo do IBGE realizado em 2010 possuía, na época, 803.739 habitantes, com população estimada para o ano de 2020 de 890.480 pessoas.

Natal é o portão de entrada para se conhecer belas paisagens do estado potiguar. Quando estávamos captando imagens para o nosso Guia das Belezas do Rio Grande do Norte e do 66 x Brasil (nosso livro sobre as muitas belezas do nosso país) realizamos um voo de helicóptero para fotografar Natal e seu arredores. São essas imagens que gostaríamos de compartilhar com vocês hoje para que possam ter uma ideia de como essa cidade e seus arredores são bonitos vistos de cima. Aplicativos e listas para preparar mala de viagem/Apps und Listen für die Vorbereitung eines Koffers/Apps and lists for preparing a suitcase

A pandemia vai acabar um dia e quem gosta de viajar vai voltar a “perambular” por esse vasto mundo.

Devagarinho começamos a fazer planos de viagem para quando a pandemia terminar, refletimos sobre quais lugares gostaríamos de conhecer ou que locais gostaríamos de retornar.

Sendo assim, voltaremos a preparar malas e se preocupar com o que levar.

Quando se fala de bagagem, o melhor é levar o mínimo de bagagem, pois, caso contrário, você vai precisar pagar excesso de bagagem e ainda por cima carregar as malas!

Tem gente que não gosta de preparar mala e tem gente que gosta muito. Eu faço parte do grupo que gosta muito. Com base nas muitas viagens que Erich e eu fizemos durante nossa vida, adquiri experiência e “macetes” para organizar uma ótima mala para viagem.

Realizamos uma viagem ao redor do mundo, onde foi necessário ter roupas para todas as estações do ano.

Depois de muito planejamento Erich e eu preparamos nossas malas de viagem onde não sentimos falta de nada durante nossa longa viagem de 66 dias (veja o post sobre essa viagem aqui). Também apresentamos em outros posts listas de viagem, veja aqui e aqui.

No mundo digitalizado em que vivemos, existem aplicativos para quase tudo que se imaginar. E claro, existe aplicativos que lhe ajudam a preparar uma mala de viagem. Para finalizar, recomendo fortemente que quando for preparar sua mala, nunca esqueça que quanto menor, melhor. Com o tempo a gente aprende a levar apenas o necessário.

Nota importante: Sempre carregue uma mochila pequena e confortável com você para as coisas pequenas, mas muito importantes, como dinheiro, cartões de crédito, câmera, telefone celular, material de leitura, documentos, remédios, guias de viagem e, mais recentemente, especialmente o certificado de vacinação com você para os voos, caminhadas, excursões etc. e nunca se esqueça, há países onde diz o ditado: “Tudo nas suas costas não é necessariamente sua propriedade”, ou seja, não coloque a mochila nas costas em local com muitas pessoas.

Apps und Listen für die Vorbereitung eines Koffers

Die Pandemie wird eines Tages enden und wer gerne auf Tour ist, wird wieder durch diese weite Welt „reisen“.

Langsam fangen wir an, Reisepläne zu schmieden. Wenn die Pandemie vorbei ist, überlegen wir uns, welche Orte wir besuchen oder an welche Orte wir zurückkehren möchten.

Also werden wir wieder packen und uns Gedanken machen, v.a. wohin es gehen soll und dann, was hierfür wohl mitzunehmen ist.

Wenn es um Gepäck geht, nehmen Sie am besten so wenig wie nötig und möglich mit, sonst müssen Sie eventuell Übergepäck bezahlen und v.a. Ihr Gepäck immer selbst befördern, was unter Umständen sehr lästig werden kann!

Es gibt Leute, die nicht gerne Koffer vorbereiten und es gibt Leute, die es sehr mögen. Ich gehöre zu der Gruppe, die es lieben Koffer zu packen.

Aufgrund der vielen Reisen, die Erich und ich unternommen haben, habe ich Routine und „Tricks“ gesammelt, um einen tollen Reisekoffer zu organisieren.

Wir machten eine Reise um die Welt, wo es folglich notwendig war, Kleidung für alle Jahreszeiten mit uns zu haben.

Nach langer Planung packten Erich und ich dann unsere Koffer in der Form, dass wir sicher sein konnten für unsere lange 66-tägige Reise nichts vergessen haben (siehe den Beitrag zu dieser Reise hier). Reiselisten stellen wir auch in anderen Beiträgen vor, siehe hier und hier.

In der digitalisierten Welt, in der wir heute leben, gibt es Apps für fast alles. Und natürlich gibt es Apps, die Ihnen bei der Koffervorbereitung helfen. Wir listen hier die beliebtesten auf: TripList, Travelpack und To-Do-Liste, Packliste, Pack/r, Packking, Packpoint, Pack, Easypack und Packteo.

Schließlich empfehle ich sehr, bei der Vorbereitung Ihres Koffers nie zu vergessen, dass je kleiner umso besser ist. Mit der Zeit lernten wir, wirklich nur das Notwendigste mitzunehmen.

wichtiger Hinweis: Führen Sie immer einen kleinen komfortablen Rucksack mit sich für die kleinen, jedoch sehr wichtigen Dinge wie Geld, Kreditgarten, Kamera, Handy, Lesematerial, Dokumente, Medizin, Reiseführer und neuerdings v.a. den IMPFNachweis mit sich für den Flug, Spaziergänge, Ausflüge usw. und vergessen Sie aber auch niemals, es gibt Länder wo das Sprichwort gilt: „Alles auf Ihrem Rücken ist nicht unbedingt Ihr Eigentum“

Apps and lists for preparing a suitcase

The pandemic will end one day and those who like to be on tour will “travel” through this wide world again.

Slowly we start making travel plans for when the pandemic ends, we think about which places we would like to visit or which places we would like to return to.

So we will pack again and think first about where to go and then what to take with us.

When it comes to baggage, it is best to take as little as necessary and possible with you, otherwise you may have to pay for excess baggage and, above all, always transport your baggage yourself, which can be very annoying!

There are people who don’t like preparing suitcases and there are people who are very fond of it. I belong to the group who love to pack suitcases.

Due to the many trips that Erich and I have undertaken, I have collected some routine and “tricks” in order to organize a great suitcase.

We went on a trip around the world and consequently it was necessary to have clothes for all seasons with us.

After a lot of planning, Erich and I packed our suitcases in such a way, that we could be sure that we hadn’t forgotten anything for our long 66-days-trip (see the article on this trip here). We also present travel lists in other articles, see here and here.
