… ou a “Cidade das 7 Torres” está localizada no norte da Alemanha, no estado federal de Schleswig-Holstein, e tem cerca de 217.000 habitantes.

A cidade hanseática de Lübeck (a Liga Hanseática é uma associação histórica de cidades comerciais alemãs e, posteriormente, europeias. Existiu nos meados do século 12 a meados do século 17 e está localizada na baía de Lübeck, no Mar Báltico.

Foi fundada em 1143 e é considerada Património Mundial da UNESCO, sendo muitas vezes referida como a “porta de entrada para o norte”, especialmente a cidade velha, que se caracteriza pelo seu estilo gótico em tijolo.

A cidade está localizada no rio navegável Trave,

que flui a 17 quilômetros da cidade velha na altamente recomendada estância balnear de Travemünde, com um belo calçadão de praia no Mar Báltico.

O Holsten Gate é o marco mais famoso da cidade. Dentro está o Museu Holstentor.

As impressionantes casas de empena e, acima de tudo, os 7 campanários das 5 grandes igrejas existentes são impressionantes na silhueta da cidade velha,

quase uma ilha da cidade velha

entre os rios Trave e Wakenitz.

O coração da cidade é o mercado com a imponente Câmara Municipal do século XII, que se desenvolveu continuamente através de vários estilos arquitetônicos até os tempos modernos.

Definitivamente visite o Ratskeller aqui, excelente ambiente e decoração rústica e, claro, comida deliciosa.

Muito marcantes e dignos de se ver em Lübeck são os “corredores e pátios”,

originalmente alojamentos para moradores pobres, hoje uma atração turística, são 100 na cidade velha.

O marzipão de Lübeck também é famoso, no museu do maçapão você pode admirar figuras históricas feitas de maçapão.

A cidade também tem muito orgulho de seus dois ganhadores do Prêmio Nobel de Literatura, Thomas Mann (“Buddenbrooks”) e Günter Grass (“O Tambor de Lata”).

Na época do Natal, há um mercado de Natal muito bom aqui, e é por isso que Lübeck também é conhecida como a  “Cidade Natal do Norte”.

…oder auch die „Stadt der 7 Türme“ liegt in Norddeutschland im Bundesland Schleswig-Holstein und hat rund 217.000  Einwohner.

Die Hansestadt Lübeck (Die Hanse ist eine historische Vereinigung deutscher und später europäischer Handelsstädte. Sie bestand von der Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts bis zur Mitte des 17.Jahrhunderts) ist an der Lübecker Bucht an der Ostsee gelegen.

Sie wurde 1143 gegründet und verfügt über UNESCO-Welterbe-Status, sie wird oft auch als „Tor zum Norden“ bezeichnet, sehenswert v.a. die Altstadt geprägt durch ihre Backsteingotik.

Die Stadt ist an dem schiffbaren Fluss Trave gelegen,

der dann  17 Kilometer von der Altstadt entfernt im sehr empfehlenswerten Seebad Travemünde mit schöner Strandpromenade in die Ostsee mündet.

Das Holstentor ist das bekanntestes Wahrzeichen der Stadt. In seinem Inneren befindet sich das Museum Holstentor.

Auffallend an der Altstadtsilhouette,

quasi eine Altstadtinsel zwischen den Flüssen Trave und Wakenitz,

sind ihre markanten Giebelhäuser und v.a. auch die 7 Kirchtürme der dortigen 5 groβen Kirchen.

Der von der UNESCO geschützte Bereich bezieht alle wichtigen Bauwerke Lübecks ein, welche sind:

Das Herz der Stadt ist der Markt mit dem imposanten aus dem 12. Jahrhundert stammenden Rathaus, das immer wieder weiter erschlossen wurde durch verschiedene Baustile bis hin zur Moderne.

Hier unbedingt den Ratskeller besuchen, tolle rustikale Atmosphäre und Dekoration und natürlich leckeres Essen.

Sehr auffallend und sehenswert in Lübeck sind die „Gänge und Höfe“,

das sind Unterkünfte ursprünglich entstanden für arme Bewohner, heute eine Touristen-Attraktion, es gibt davon 100 in der Altstadt.

Berühnt auch das Lübecker Marzipan, im Marzipanmuseum  können Sie  historischer Figuren aus Marzipan bewundern.

Die Stadt ist auch sehr stolz auf ihre beiden Literaturnobelpreisträger Thomas Mann („Buddenbrooks“) und Günter Grass („Die Blechtrommel“).

Um die Weihnachtszeit findet hier ein sehr schöner Weihnachtsmarkt statt, weshalb Lübeck auch gerne als die  „Weihnachtsstadt des Nordens“ bezeihnet wird.

… or the “City of 7 Towers” is located in northern Germany in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein and has around 217,000 inhabitants.

The Hanseatic City of Lübeck (the Hanseatic League is a historical association of German and later European trading cities. It existed from the middle of the 12th century to the middle of the 17th century) is located on the Bay of Lübeck on the Baltic Sea.

It was founded in 1143 and has UNESCO World Heritage status, it is often referred to as the “gateway to the north”, especially the old town, which is characterized by its brick Gothic.

The city is located on the navigable river Trave,

which flows 17 kilometers from the old town in the highly recommended seaside resort of Travemünde with a beautiful beach promenade in the Baltic Sea.

The Holsten Gate is the city’s most famous landmark. Inside is the Holstentor Museum.

The striking gabled houses and, above all, the 7 steeples of the 5 large churches there are striking about the old town’s silhouette,

almost an old town island between the rivers Trave and Wakenitz.

The heart of the city is the market with the imposing town hall from the 12th century, which has been continuously developed through various architectural styles up to the modern age.

Definitely visit the Ratskeller, great rustic atmosphere and decoration and of course delicious food.
