Munique é uma das cidades mais interessantes da Alemanha. Ela é a capital da Baviera, está situada no sul da Alemanha, nas margens do Rio Isar e possui em torno de 1,3 milhões de habitantes. Ela possui a terceira maior população do país.

Erich e eu já visitamos Munique várias vezes e cada vez que estamos por lá descobrimos algo novo, sempre temos vontade de inclui-la nos nossos roteiros pela Alemanha.

Com base na nossa experiência em Munique, elaboramos uma lista com sugestões de lugares para visitar e experiências para vivenciar. São os seguintes:

Marienplatz, apreciar o prédio da Prefeitura de Munique (Neues Rathaus) e esperar para ver o famoso Glockenspiel, 32 figuras movidas mecanicamente reencenam cenas da história de Munique.

Palácio Nymphenburg, palácio monumental com jardim deslumbrante;

Englishcer Garten, caminhar e aproveitar o verão no gramado desse parque;

Visitar o Viktualienmarkt é um passeio para os que querem conhecer um mercado que existe desde muitas gerações e oferece uma imensa variedade de produtos. É muito agradável sentar-se no seu Biergarten e apreciar as iguarias locais. Ele fica bem pertinho da Marienplatz.

Uma visita ao Deutsche Museum definitivamente vale a pena para os amantes de museus.

München ist eine der interessantesten Städte Deutschlands. Sie ist die Landeshauptstadt von Bayern, liegt im Süden Deutschlands, am Ufer der Isar und hat rund 1,3 Millionen Einwohner. Es hat die drittgrößte Bevölkerung des Landes.

Erich und ich haben München mehrmals besucht und jedes Mal, wenn wir dort sind, entdecken wir etwas Neues, so daβ wir es immer wieder in unsere Reiserouten in Deutschland aufnehmen möchten.

Basierend auf unseren Erfahrungen in München haben wir eine Liste mit Vorschlägen für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Erfahrungen zusammengestellt. Dies sind wie folgt:

Marienplatz – genießen Sie das Münchner Rathaus (Neues Rathaus) und beobachten Sie das berühmte Glockenspiel, 32 mechanisch bewegte Figuren stellen Szenen aus der Münchner Geschichte nach.

Schloss Nymphenburg – monumentales Schloss mit herrlichem Garten;

Der Besuch des Viktualienmarktes ist eine Reise für alle, die einen seit vielen Generationen bestehenden Markt mit einer immensen Produktvielfalt entdecken möchten. Munich – beautiful, cultivated and lively

Munich is one of the most interesting cities in Germany. It is the state capital of Bavaria, is located in southern Germany on the banks of the Isar and has around 1.3 million inhabitants. It has the third largest population in the country.

Erich and I have visited Munich several times and every time we are there we discover something new so that we always want to include it in our itineraries in Germany.

Based on our experiences in Munich, we’ve put together a list of suggested places to visit and experience. These are as follows:

Marienplatz – enjoy the Munich City Hall (Neues Rathaus) and watch the famous Glockenspiel, 32 mechanically moved figures re-enact scenes of Munich’s history.

Nymphenburg Palace – monumental palace with a beautiful garden;

English Garden – stroll and enjoy the summer on the lawns of this park;

Have a beer in a beer garden, preferably in one of the city’s beautiful parks, and enjoy German life up close;

For car lovers, the BMW-Museum is worth a visit;

A visit to the Viktualienmarkt is a journey for anyone who wants to discover a market with an immense variety of products that has existed for many generations. It is very pleasant to sit in its beer garden and enjoy the local delicacies. It is very close to Marienplatz.

Estocolmo, a rainha das águas/Stockholm – die Königin der Gewässer/

Estocolmo é a bela capital da Suécia, destino repleto de atrações interessantes! Ela foi fundada a menos de mil anos e sua criação e desenvolvimento está relacionado com sua importante posição geográfica que possibilitou ser o centro comercial, devido às rotas aquáticas, entre os intercâmbios entre os países bálticos.

É uma cidade onde percebe-se que a presença de água é marcante. Ela me lembrou, devido a água, Veneza e Amsterdã. Há rios, numerosos canais, diques, cais. São inúmeras as embarcações que navegam nessas águas, desde simples barcos de família que realizam suas excursões pelo Báltico até os iates de luxo.

É a partir da água que se pode conhecer está cidade erigida sobre catorze ilhas.

Erich e eu realizamos o City Tour de barco, consideramos fundamental para ter uma visão da topografia da cidade e de sua estrutura urbana.

Além disso, é muito agradável se caminhar pelos seus diferentes bairros, que são bem diferentes entre si, como os becos de Gamla Stan, local de fundação da cidade, Norrmalm, Centro econômico e financeiro, Sodermalm, com seus bares e restaurantes, os parques urbanos, bem cuidados e que os suecos apreciam demais no verão.

Estocolmo é uma cidade de contrastes onde os edifícios medievais convivem com os prédios vanguardistas. Há muitos museus, castelos, bosques, como o belo Djurgarden, vale um destaque especial para a Fundação Nobel, que anualmente outorga prestigiosos prêmios a personalidades mundiais.

É definitivamente muito interessante se caminhar pela cidade, pelos parques de Haga, de Djugarden. Vale a visita ao Kungsliga Slottet e o Drottingholm, declarado Patrimônio da UNESCO. São muitos os lugares que atraem a atenção dos que visitam a cidade. Dentre as muitas atrações, sugerimos visitar:

  • Nationalmuseum, o mais relevante museu de arte da Suécia;
  • Skansen, o primeiro museu do mundo ao ar livre;
  • Gripsholm Slott, o castelo mais bonito Suecy;
  • Kungsliga Slottet, a residência ofiydos Reis da Suécia;
  • Stadshuset, símbolo da cidade com sua torre.
  • Djurgarden, local ideal para passeios, é um parque é um Tambouren.
  • Vasa Museu, que guarda uma embarcação que passou mais de 300 anos afundada.

Há outros lugares muito atraentes, essa acima é a nossa lista. Estocolmo é definitivamente uma cidade que vale muito visitá-la, principalmente no verão. Para conhecer mais sobre esse belo destino, clique aqui.

Stockholm – die Königin der Gewässer

Stockholm ist die wunderschöne Hauptstadt Schwedens, ein Reiseziel voller interessanter Attraktionen! Es wurde vor weniger als tausend Jahren gegründet und seine Entstehung und Entwicklung hängt mit seiner wichtigen geografischen Lage zusammen, die es ermöglichte, aufgrund der Wasserwege das Handelszentrum zwischen den baltischen Ländern zu sein.

Es ist eine Stadt, in der das Vorhandensein von Wasser bemerkenswert ist. Sie erinnerte mich wegen des Wassers überall an Venedig und Amsterdam. Es gibt Flüsse, zahlreiche Kanäle, Deiche, Piers. Es gibt unzählige Schiffe, die diese Gewässer befahren, von einfachen Familienbooten, die ihre Ausflüge in die Ostsee unternehmen, bis hin zu Luxusyachten.

Vom Wasser aus können Sie diese auf vierzehn Inseln erbaute Stadt kennenlernen.

Erich und ich haben die Stadtrundfahrt mit dem Boot gemacht, wir hielten es für unerlässlich, einen Blick auf die Topographie der Stadt und ihre urbane Struktur zu werfen.

Darüber hinaus ist es sehr angenehm, durch die verschiedenen Stadtteile zu spazieren, die sich sehr voneinander unterscheiden, wie die Gassen von Gamla Stan, dem Gründungsort der Stadt, Norrmalm, Wirtschafts- und Finanzzentrum, Södermalm mit seinen Bars und Restaurants, die städtischen Parks, gepflegt und welche die Schweden im Sommer sehr zu schätzen wissen.

Stockholm ist eine Stadt der Kontraste, in der mittelalterliche Gebäude mit avantgardistischen Gebäuden koexistieren. Es gibt viele Museen, Schlösser, Wälder, wie das schöne Djurgarden, das eine besondere Erwähnung für die Nobelstiftung wert ist, die jährlich prestigeträchtige Auszeichnungen an Persönlichkeiten verleiht.

Es ist auf jeden Fall sehr interessant, durch die Stadt zu spazieren, durch die Parks von Haga und Djugarden. Einen Besuch wert sind die Kungsliga Slottet und Drottingholm, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurden. Es gibt viele Orte, die die Aufmerksamkeit der Besucher der Stadt auf sich ziehen. Unter den vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten empfehlen wir einen Besuch:

  • Nationalmuseum, Schwedens wichtigstes Kunstmuseum;
  • Skansen, das erste Freilichtmuseum der Welt;
  • Gripsholm Slott, Suecys schönstes Schloss;
  • Kungsliga Slottet, die offizielle Residenz der Könige von Schweden;
  • Stadshuset, Wahrzeichen der Stadt mit seinem Turm.
  • Djurgarden, idealer Ort für Spaziergänge, es ist ein Park und ein Tambouren Stadtteil.
  • Vasa Museum

Stockholm – the queen of waters

Stockholm is the beautiful capital of Sweden, a destination full of interesting attractions! It was founded less than a thousand years ago and its emergence and development is related to its important geographical position, which allowed it to be the trade center between the Baltic countries due to the waterways.

It is a city where the presence of water is remarkable. It reminded me of Venice and Amsterdam because of the water everywhere. There are rivers, numerous canals, dikes, piers. There are countless ships that navigate these waters, from simple family boats making their trips around the Baltic Sea to luxury yachts.

You can get to know this city built on fourteen islands from the water.

Erich and I did the city tour by boat, we felt it was essential to take a look at the city’s topography and urban structure. In addition it is very pleasant to walk through the different parts of the city, very different from each other, such as the streets of Gamla Stan, the place where the city was founded, Norrmalm, economic and financial center, Södermalm with its bars and restaurants, the urban parks, maintained and which the Swedes really appreciate in summer.

Stockholm is a city of contrasts, where medieval buildings coexist with avant-garde buildings. There are many museums, castles, forests, like the beautiful Djurgarden, which deserves a special mention for the Nobel Foundation, which annually gives prestigious awards to famous persons.

In any case, it is very interesting to walk around the city, through the parks of Haga and Djugarden. Annually, it invites its readers to choose the best experiences around the planet, such as the best hotels, the best cities, the best ships, the best airlines, the best islands in the world and many other “best” options.

This post highlights the top 10 islands in the world ranked by Travel + Leisure (to view the full list, click here).

The readers took into account the beauty of the beaches, the tourist attractions, the natural and cultural, the warmth of the local people, the gastronomy, the nightlife, the accommodation options, in short, they rated all their experiences on the islands to choose the best ones.

Dresden und die Sächsische Schweiz – eine beeindruckende Kombination

Wir besuchten Dresden in einem sehr angenehmen Sommer mit einem PKW und das stellte sich für uns als die optimale Lösung heraus.

3 bis 5 Tage erscheinen uns als idealer Zeitraum, um die Stadt mit all ihren kunsthistorischen Schätzen und kulturellen Angeboten zu genießen, das sogenannte Elbflorenz zu erkunden und dazu auch noch einen Ausflug entweder auf dem Fluss per Raddampfer oder per Bus/PKW in die sehr beeindruckende Natur der Sächsischen Schweiz zu unternehmen.

Diese Natur, die Elbe und die Stadt Dresden bilden ein fantastisches Panorama für einen sehr kurzweiligen Aufenthalt, währenddessen sowohl Jung als auch Alt voll auf ihre Kosten kommen können.

Dresden and Saxon Switzerland – an impressive combination

We visited Dresden in a very pleasant summer by car and this turned out to be the optimal solution for us.

We think 3 to 5 days is the ideal period of time to enjoy the city with all its art-historical treasures and cultural offerings, to explore the so-called Florence on the Elbe and also to take a trip either on the river by paddle steamer or by bus/car to the very impressive to do in the nature of Saxon Switzerland.

This nature, the Elbe and the city of Dresden form a fantastic panorama for a very entertaining stay, during which both young and old can get their money’s worth.

Istambul possui em torno de 15 milhões de habitantes. Ela está localizada entre o mar de Mármara e o mar Negro, no local onde o Corno de Ouro desemboca no Bósforo, passagem importante entre a Ásia e a Europa.

Erich e eu já visitamos Istambul algumas vezes, sendo que a última vez nem estava incluída na nossa programação, voltamos lá devido uma mudança de rota de um cruzeiro. Nós elaboramos uma lista de alguns lugares e experiências que sugerimos viver e conhecer quando se visita essa bela e grandiosa cidade. São os seguintes:

Istanbul hat rund 15 Millionen Einwohner. Es liegt zwischen dem Marmarameer und dem Schwarzen Meer, wo das Goldene Horn in den Bosporus mündet, eine wichtige Passage zwischen Asien und Europa.

Erich und ich haben Istanbul mehrere Male besucht, das letzte Mal war es nicht einmal  geplant, wir sind wegen einer Routenänderung auf einer Kreuzfahrt dorthin quasi „zurückgekehrt worden“.

Wir haben eine Liste mit einigen empfehlenswerten Orten zusammengestellt, falls Sie diese schöne und grandiose einmal Stadt besuchen sollten. Dies sind:

Istanbul – City of One Thousand and One Nights

Istanbul has around 15 million inhabitants. It lies between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea, where the Golden Horn meets the Bosphorus, an important passage between Asia and Europe.

Erich and I have visited Istanbul several times, the last time it wasn’t even planned, we were “returned” there because of a change of route on a cruise.

We have compiled a list of some recommended places if you should visit this beautiful and grandiose city. These are:

O prédio do Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo é um dos cartões postais da cidade de São Paulo. O prédio e o museu sempre me atraíram, pois trata-se um belo exemplar de arquitetura, obra de Lina Bo Bardi e abriga obras de valor inestimável para o país. Desde a época de estudante arquitetura que eu apreciava aquele prédio. Estive lá há uns trinta anos atrás. Na última viagem que realizei a São Paulo, em maio de 2022, Erich expressou o desejo de conhecê-lo. Sendo assim, programamos uma visita a esse lindo e rico museu. Eu fiquei feliz em revê-lo.

Primeiro você deve comprar o ingresso pela Internet e agendar o horário da visita. Escolhemos uma terça-feira, coincidentemente é o dia que a entrada é gratuita. Mas, mesmo assim você deve realizar um cadastro no site do museu e depois disso você recebe o bilhete no seu e-mail depois de alguns minutos que concluir o cadastro.

Chegamos no museu no dia e horário agendados. Apresentei os bilhetes que estavam no e-mail no meu telefone é foi tudo muito rápido e fácil. Quando você entra no museu há a escada e os elevadores. Você escolhe como acessar os andares disponíveis para a visitação.

O museu tem quatro pavimentos abertos ao público. Começamos pelo nível 1 onde está acontecendo uma exposição de Volpi, artista italiano que viveu no Brasil.

Depois de conhecer o trabalho de Volpi, fomos para o nível 2. É aí que está a exposição “Acervo em Transformação “, onde estão expostas 218 obras de arte, o que corresponde a apenas dois por cento do acervo do museu que é de 11 000 peças (o museu está preparando uma nova área para exposição em um prédio ao lado).

Erich e eu tivemos a impressão de que mergulhamos numa viagem pela história da arte, pois foi possível apreciar obras da época do renascimento, passando por diversos períodos como impressionismo, pós-impressionismo, modernismo, dentre outros.

Nessa visita é possível apreciar obras de Manet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Cândido Portinari, Tarsila do Amaral e muitos outros importantes expoentes da arte mundial.

O momento que mais me emocionou foi quando vi a escultura denominada “A bailarina de catorze anos”, de autoria de Edgar Degas, datada de 1880. Eu conheci essa escultura na minha primeira visita a esse museu, o que coincidiu com o fato de que eu também era bailarina naquela época.

Um aspecto muito interessante nessa exposição é a forma que as peças são expostas: trata-se de um suporte com uma base, acho de concreto, não tenho bem certeza, com uma lâmina de vidro translúcido. Esse suporte também foi desenhado por Lina e passou um tempo guardado. Essa forma de expor confere um charme bem especial a essa exposição.

Após essa visita seguimos para o nível -2 onde há uma exposição de Luiz Zerbini denominada “A mesma história nunca é a mesma”. Esse é um artista paulistano considerado um dos grandes expoentes da arte contemporânea latino-americana. Os quatro painéis coloridos foram o que mais me chamaram a atenção. Lindos!!!

Depois desse nível, subimos para o pavimento -1, onde há uma exposição do artista Abdias Nascimento, artista, ator, dramaturgo, diretor de teatro nascido em São Paulo. Uma das grandes figuras da cultura brasileira. Além da área dessa exposição, há um café e uma pequena loja.

Após finalizar nossa visita, voltamos para o nível zero, por onde entramos no museu.

MASP – Wertschätzung wertvoller Kunstwerke

Das Gebäude des São Paulo Museum of Modern Art ist eine der Postkarten der Stadt São Paulo. Das Gebäude und das Museum haben mich schon immer angezogen, da es ein schönes Beispiel für Architektur ist, es ist das Werk von Lina Bo Bardi und beherbergt für das Land   Werke von unschätzbarem Wert.

Seit meiner Architektur-Studentenzeit wertschätze ich dieses Gebäude. Ich war vor ungefähr dreißig Jahren schon einmal dort.

Auf meiner letzten Reise nach São Paulo im Mai 2022 äußerte Erich den Wunsch, es zu besuchen, also planten   wir einen Besuch. Ich habe mich sehr auf den Besuch gefreut.

Zuerst müssen Sie das Ticket online kaufen und die Uhrzeit des Besuchs planen. Wir haben uns für einen Dienstag entschieden, zufällig auch der Tag, an dem der Eintritt frei ist. Trotzdem müssen Sie sich auf der Website des Museums registrieren und erhalten das Ticket einige Minuten nach Abschluss der Registrierung per E-Mail.

Wir kamen am geplanten Tag und zur geplanten Uhrzeit im Museum an. Ich legte die Tickets in der E-Mail auf meinem Handy vor und es ging alles sehr schnell und einfach. Wenn Sie das Museum betreten, gibt es Treppen und Aufzüge. Sie entscheiden, wie Sie auf die zur Besichtigung verfügbaren Stockwerke gelangen wollen.

Das Museum hat vier Stockwerke, die für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sind. Wir begannen mit Ebene 1, wo eine Ausstellung von Volpi, einem italienischen Künstler, der in Brasilien lebte, stattfindet.

Anschlieβend gingen wir zur Ebene 2. Dort befindet sich die Ausstellung „Sammlung in Transformation“, in der 218 Kunstwerke ausgestellt sind, was nur zwei Prozent der Sammlung des Museums von 11 000 Stücken entspricht (das Museum ist Vorbereitung einer neuen Ausstellungsfläche in einem Nachbargebäude).

Erich und ich hatten den Eindruck, dass wir uns auf eine Reise durch die Kunstgeschichte begeben hatten, da es möglich war, Werke aus der Zeit der Renaissance zu würdigen und verschiedene Epochen wie Impressionismus, Postimpressionismus, Moderne usw. durchliefen durften.

Bei dem Besuch können Sie Werke von Manet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Cândido Portinari, Tarsila do Amaral und vielen anderen wichtigen Vertretern der Weltkunst bewundern.

Der Moment, der mich am meisten bewegte, war, als ich die Skulptur „Die vierzehnjährige Ballerina“ von Edgar Degas aus dem Jahr 1880 gesehen habe. Ich hatte diese Skulptur schon bei meinem ersten Besuch in diesem Museum entdeckt, was mit der Tatsache zusammenfiel, dass ich damals auch eine Ballerina war.

Ein sehr interessanter Aspekt dieser Ausstellung ist auch die Art und Weise, wie die Stücke ausgestellt werden: Es ist eine Art Stütze mit einem Sockel, ich glaube aus Beton, ich bin mir nicht sicher, mit einer durchscheinenden Glasscheibe.

Auch dieser Ausstellungs-Ständer wurde von Lina entworfen und haben einige Zeit im Archiv verbracht. Diese Art der Ausstellung verleiht derselben somit einen ganz besonderen Charme.

Nach diesem Besuch gingen wir weiter zur Ebene -2, wo sich eine Ausstellung von Luiz Zerbini mit dem Titel „Die gleiche Geschichte ist nie die gleiche“ befindet. Dies ist ein Künstler aus São Paulo, der als einer der großen Vertreter der zeitgenössischen Kunst Lateinamerikas gilt. Die vier farbigen Tafeln haben meine Aufmerksamkeit am meisten erregt. Schön!!!

Nach dieser Ebene gehen wir hinauf in Etage -1, wo es eine Ausstellung des Künstlers Abdias Nascimento gibt, Künstler, Schauspieler, Dramatiker, Theaterregisseur, geboren in São Paulo. Eine der großen Persönlichkeiten der brasilianischen Kultur. Neben dem Ausstellungsbereich gibt es ein Café und einen kleinen Laden.

Nachdem wir unseren Besuch beendet hatten, kehrten wir zur Ebene Null zurück, der Ausgangspunkt unseres Besuches.

MASP – Valuable Works of Art Appreciation

The building of the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art is one of the postcards of the city of São Paulo. The building and the museum have always attracted me as it is a fine example of architecture, it is the work of Lina Bo Bardi and houses works of inestimable value for the country.

I have valued this building ever since I was an architecture student. I’ve been there before about thirty years ago.

On my last trip to São Paulo in May 2022 Erich expressed the desire to visit it, so we planned a visit. I was really looking forward to the visit.

First you need to buy the ticket online and plan the time of the visit. We chose a Tuesday, coincidentally also the day when entry is free. Nevertheless, you need to register on the museum’s website and you will receive the ticket by email a few minutes after completing the registration.

We arrived at the museum on the scheduled day and time. I presented the tickets in the E-Mail on my phone and it was all very quick and easy. When you enter the museum, there are stairs and elevators. You decide how to get to the floors available for viewing.

The museum has four floors that are open to the public. We started with Level 1, which hosts an exhibition by Volpi, an Italian artist who lived in Brazil.

Then we went to Level 2. There is the exhibition “Collection in Transformation” where 218 works of art are on display, which is only two percent of the museum’s collection of 11,000 pieces (the museum is preparing a new exhibition space in a neighboring building).

Erich and I felt that we had embarked on a journey through art history as it was possible to appreciate works from the Renaissance period and were allowed to go through different eras such as impressionism, post-impressionism, modernism, etc.

During the visit you can admire works by Manet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Cândido Portinari, Tarsila do Amaral and many other important representatives of world art.

The moment that moved me the most was when I saw the 1880 sculpture “The Ballerina at Fourteen” by Edgar Degas. I had discovered this sculpture on my first visit to this museum, which coincided with the fact that I was also a ballerina at the time.

A very interesting aspect of this exhibition is also the way the pieces are displayed: it’s kind of a pillar with a base, I think concrete, I’m not sure, with a translucent pane of glass.

This exhibition stand was also designed by Lina and has spent some time in the archive. This type of exhibition gives it a very special charm.

After this visit, we proceeded to level -2, where there is an exhibition by Luiz Zerbini entitled “The same story is never the same”. This is an artist from São Paulo who is considered one of the great exponents of contemporary art in Latin America. The four colored panels caught my attention the most. Nice!!!

After this level we go up to floor -1 where there is an exhibition of the artist Abdias Nascimento, artist, actor, playwright, theater director born in São Paulo. One of the great personalities of Brazilian culture. Next to the exhibition area there is a café and a small shop.

After completing our visit, we returned to Level Zero, the starting point of our visit.

São Paulo é o coração financeiro do Brasil. De acordo com o Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística – IBGE, a cidade de São Paulo possui 12.396.372 habitantes (2021) distribuídas pelos seus 1.521,202 km2. Trata-se de uma das maiores metrópoles do mundo e por isso é um lugar caracterizado por possuir muitas faces e que você vai descobrindo ao longo de uma vida.

Erich e eu já visitamos São Paulo várias vezes devido a diversos fatores. Fomos à São Paulo para captar imagens para o nosso livro 66 x Brasil, visitamos a cidade para participarmos de reuniões de trabalho, estivemos em São Paulo para deliciarmos com seus inúmeros restaurantes e visitarmos museus e exposições.

São Paulo é uma cidade grandiosa em números. São muitos os hotéis, restaurantes, salas de cinema, de teatros, de espaços culturais, de bibliotecas, de estádios de futebol, de parques e áreas verdes, de shopping centers, dentre outros. Para uma primeira visita, há lugares e experiências que consideramos relevantes para esse primeiro contato com a cidade: comer um sanduíche de mortadela no Mercado Municipal de São Paulo,

visitar o Pátio do Colégio, local da fundação da cidade; passar uma manhã ou tarde no Museu de Arte de São Paulo – MASP localizado na famosa Avenida Paulista,

testemunha de tantos eventos importantes para o país; aproveitar o Parque do Ibirapuera em um dia ensolarado; passear no bairro da Liberdade; apreciar a vista panorâmica da cidade do alto do Edifício Itália

e do roof top do Hotel Unique;

conhecer o Museu da Língua Portuguesa, a Pinacoteca do Estado, enfim, são tantas as opções de passeios em São Paulo,  que tudo vai depender do seu interesse, do seu perfil de visitante e do tempo disponível para a viagem.

Além desses atrativos, há também os grandes e famosos eventos de São Paulo, como a Virada Cultural, que acontece no mês de abril, a Parada do Orgulho Gay, que acontece no feriado de Corpus Christi, a Bienal do Livro, que atrai milhares de pessoas e é realizada no mês de julho, a Corrida de São Silvestre, que ocorre no último dia do ano, dentre outros. Vale a pena consultar o calendário de eventos da cidade e verificar o que estará acontecendo na época da sua visita à cidade. Para os que apreciam shows, a cidade oferece muitas opções interessantes.

São Paulo ist das Finanzzentrum Brasiliens. Erich und ich haben São Paulo aufgrund verschiedener Faktoren mehrmals besucht. Wir sind nach São Paulo gefahren, um Fotos für unser Buch 66 x Brazil zu machen, wir haben die Stadt besucht, um an Arbeitstreffen teilzunehmen, wir waren in São Paulo, um uns an den zahlreichen Restaurants zu erfreuen und Museen und Ausstellungen zu besuchen.

São Paulo ist zahlenmäßig eine großartige Stadt. Es gibt unter anderem viele Hotels, Restaurants, Kinos, Theater, Kulturräume, Bibliotheken, Fußballstadien, Parks und Grünflächen, Einkaufszentren.

São Paulo – cultural center of Brazil

São Paulo is the financial center of Brazil. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE, the city of São Paulo has 12,396,372 inhabitants (2021) spread over 1,521,202 km2. It is one of the largest metropolises in the world and therefore a place characterized by many faces that you will discover for a lifetime.

Erich and I have visited São Paulo several times due to various factors. We went to São Paulo to take photos for our book 66 x Brazil, we visited the city to attend work meetings, we were in São Paulo to enjoy the many restaurants and to visit museums and exhibitions.

São Paulo is a great city numerically. There are many hotels, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, cultural spaces, libraries, football stadiums, parks and green spaces, shopping centers, among others.

For a first visit, there are places and experiences that we consider relevant for this first contact with the city: eat a mortadella sandwich in the Municipal Market of São Paulo,

visit the Pátio do Colégio, the place where the city was founded; spend a morning or afternoon at the São Paulo Museum of Art – MASP on the famous Avenida Paulista,

witness to so many important events for the country; enjoy Ibirapuera Park on a sunny day; stroll through the Liberdade district; Enjoy panoramic city views from the top of Edifício Itália

and from the roof of Hotel Unique. Visit the Museum of the Portuguese Language, the Pinacoteca do Estado, in short, there are so many options for tours in São Paulo, it all depends on your interest, your visitor profile and the time available for the trip.

Besides these attractions, São Paulo also has the big and famous events, such as the Virada Cultural that takes place in April, the Gay Pride Parade that takes place on the Corpus Christi holiday, the Book Biennale that attracts thousands of people and takes place in July, among others, the São Silvestre Race, which takes place on the last day of the year.

A Praia do Forte na Bahia, distrito do município da Mata de São João é um destino muito famoso para os que gostam de sol e mar. Porém, nas proximidades desse belo lugar há uma importante atração cultural de valor relevante para os que se interessam pela história do Brasil. Trata-se das ruínas da Casa da Torre de Garcia d’Ávila e da Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceição tombadas desde 1938 pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN.

Esse monumento está distante em torno de quatro quilômetros da Praia do Forte. É um passeio recomendado para quem aprecia visitar monumentos relevantes da história brasileira. Essas ruínas estão localizadas no alto da Colina Tatuapara e trata-se da primeira grande construção civil construída pelos portugueses aqui no Brasil. Ela pode ser considerada um marco do começo da colonização das terras brasileiras. Sabe-se que a Casa da Torre e a Capela foram construídos entre 1551 e 1624, de acordo com o site da Fundação Garcia d´Ávila, instituição que administra esse complexo cultural. Vale ressaltar que a família Garcia D´Ávila chegou ao Brasil em 1549, erigiu o maior latifúndio agrícola (extensa propriedade agrícola privada) do país que se perpetuou até os anos de 1800 com a sua décima geração. Inicialmente o Castelo tinha a função de servir como uma fortificação para proteger o território português das invasões de holandeses e franceses, principalmente, e mais tarde, se tornou a sede do maior latifúndio, que se estendia da Bahia até o Maranhão. Não se tem certeza, porém, é possível que o primeiro Garcia D´Ávila fosse filho de Thomé de Souza, o primeiro Governador Geral do Brasil, construtor da primeira capital do Brasil: Salvador.

Sim, trata-se de um complexo cultural muito bem administrado, pois a visita às ruínas é antecedida de uma apresentação de vídeo de três minutos onde são explicados dados históricos sobre o lugar. Além disso, há um museu interativo, com tecnologia digital, com acervo da época com mapas, achados arqueológicos encontrados no local e nas proximidades, como cerâmicas portuguesas, indígenas e africanas, artefatos de uso doméstico e bélico, além de maquete, réplica de naus, há imagens que retratam aspectos relacionados com o tema. É possível também assistir depoimentos de moradores da região e historiadores.

Após se percorrer a parte introdutória da visita, segue-se para as ruínas de onde se descortina uma bela vista do mar. Porém, antes de se chegar a elas, vemos uma centenária árvore gameleira. Embaixo dela, você pode se sentar em um banco e escutar dessa árvore informações e curiosidades sobre a vida no Castelo.

É possível entrar nas ruínas e lá do alto observar a paisagem do entorno. Em frente a elas há um mirante, com capacidade para 120 pessoas, onde acontece uma apresentação de som e imagens. Vale a pena se informar sobre datas e horários dessas apresentações.

Praia do Forte in Bahia, Bezirk der Gemeinde Mata de São João, ist ein sehr beliebtes Ziel für diejenigen, die Sonne und Meer mögen. In der Nähe dieses schönen Ortes gibt es jedoch eine wichtige kulturelle Attraktion von relevantem Wert für diejenigen, die sich für die Geschichte Brasiliens interessieren. Dies sind die Ruinen der Casa da Torre de Garcia d’Ávila und der Kapelle Nossa Senhora da Conceição, die seit 1938 vom Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN aufgeführt sind.

Dieses Monument ist etwa vier Kilometer von Praia do Forte entfernt. Es ist eine empfehlenswerte Tour für all diejenigen, die gerne wichtige Denkmäler der brasilianischen Geschichte besuchen. Die Ruinen befinden sich auf der Spitze des Tatuapara-Hügels und sind das erste große zivile Bauwerk, das von den Portugiesen hier in Brasilien errichtet wurde. Es kann als Meilenstein für den Beginn der Besiedlung brasilianischer Ländereien angesehen werden.

Laut der Website der Fundação Garcia d’Ávila, der Institution, die diesen Kulturkomplex verwaltet, ist bekannt, dass die Casa da Torre und die Kapelle zwischen 1551 und 1624 gebaut wurden. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass die Familie Garcia D’Ávila 1549 nach Brasilien kam und das größte landwirtschaftliche Anwesen (ausgedehntes privates landwirtschaftliches Eigentum) des Landes errichtete, das bis um das Jahr 1800  in zehnter Generation weitergeführt wurde.

Es ist nicht sicher, aber es ist möglich, dass der erste Garcia D’Ávila der Sohn von Thomé de Souza war, dem ersten Generalgouverneur von Brasilien, Erbauer der ersten Hauptstadt Brasiliens: Salvador.

Es ist ein sehr gut geführter Kulturkomplex, da dem Besuch der Ruinen eine dreiminütige Videopräsentation vorausgeht, in der historische Daten über den Ort gegeben werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein interaktives Museum mit digitaler Technologie mit einer Sammlung von Karten und archäologischen Funden wie portugiesische, indigene und afrikanische Keramik, Artefakte für den häuslichen und militärischen Gebrauch ein Modell-Nachbau von Schiffen und viele Bilder. Es ist auch möglich, Zeugnisse von Bewohnern der Region und von Historikern zu sehen.

Von den Ruinen oben hat man dann einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Davor steht ein jahrhundertealter Gameleira-Baum. Unter diesem kann man auf einer Bank sitzen und sich  Informationen und Kuriositäten über das Leben im Schloss anhören.

Es ist möglich, die Ruinen zu betreten und die umliegende Landschaft von oben zu beobachten. Vor ihnen befindet sich ein Aussichtspunkt mit einer Kapazität für 120 Personen, hier finden auch Ton- und Bildpräsentationen statt.

In addition, there is an interactive museum using digital technology with a collection of maps and archaeological finds such as Portuguese, indigenous and African pottery, artifacts for domestic and military use, a model replica of ships and many pictures. It is also possible to see testimonies from local residents and historians.

From the ruins above you have a beautiful view of the sea. In front of it is a centuries-old Gameleira tree. Under it you can sit on a bench and listen to information and curiosities about life in the castle.

It is possible to enter the ruins and observe the surrounding landscape from above. In front of them is a viewpoint with a capacity for 120 people, audio and visual presentations are also held here.

Parque Oschin, um mergulho na natureza/Oschin Park – ein Sprung in die Natur/Oschin Park – a plunge into nature

Parque Oschin é uma área verde cheia de belezas e um local ideal para quem quer realizar uma caminhada leve na natureza.

Esse lugar está localizado em Monte Verde, distante cerca de 1,7 km do centro da cidade.

Erich e eu visitamos esse parque no mês de maio e ele surgiu como uma opção para mim que não estava podendo realizar uma trilha mais pesada porque eu havia sofrido um atropelamento no dia anterior. Chegamos ao local em um transfer contratado, saindo do nosso hotel Roots. Foi cobrado o valor de 50 reais (ida e volta).

O Parque Oschin tem uma portaria onde compramos nossos tickets, sendo 40 reais por pessoa. A recepcionista nos colocou uma pulseira verde em mim e uma vermelha em Erich.

Optamos por caminhar devagar e percorremos a chama Trilha das Hortênsias. O parque é muito bem-sinalizado e você vai caminhando e seguindo a sinalização.

Primeiro visitamos a Cachoeira da Olívia com um pequeno córrego. O caminho até lá é lindo, ladeado por vegetação, principalmente araucárias e hortênsias. No começo desse caminho encontramos algumas lhamas soltas no parque. As crianças gostam muito delas!

Continuamos caminhando e apreciando a natureza. Vimos até um esquilo. Avistamos um grupo de pessoas em cima de uma grande pedra. Observamos também que o parque oferece uma área com redes e um banco decorativo para fotos.

No final da caminhada, que durou em torno de uma hora e vinte minutos, nós nos sentamos numa das mesas que fica localizada em torno de um lago.

Nesse dia não havia serviço de alimentação no local. Eu tive que ir até o restaurante e comprar as bebidas lá. Na realidade você não paga quando consome. O garçom solicita o número da pulseira vermelha (não há número na pulseira verde) e insere no sistema. Na saída você paga o que consumiu.

O parque dispõe também de um grande playground onde a criançada se delícia com os brinquedos diversificados.

Der Oschin Park ist eine Grünanlage voller Schönheiten und ein idealer Ort für diejenigen, die einen leichten Spaziergang in der Natur machen möchten.

Der Park befindet sich in Monte Verde, etwa 1,7 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.

Erich und ich besuchten diesen Park im Mai und er kam für mich in Frage, da ich keinen schwereren Trail machen konnte, weil ich am Tag zuvor von einem Auto angefahren worden war.

Wir benutzten einen Transfer, der uns für die Hin- und Rückfahrt von unserem Roots-Hotel 50 BRL kostete.

Der Oschin Park hat einen Concierge, bei dem wir unsere Tickets für 40 Reais pro Person kaufen. Die Empfangsdame legte mir ein grünes Armband an und Erich ein rotes.

Wir haben uns entschieden, langsam zu gehen und haben den sogenannten Hortênsias-Pfad genossen. Der Park ist sehr gut ausgeschildert wie hier zu sehen ist.

Zuerst besuchten wir den Olívia Wasserfall, bei unserem Besuch jedoch ein kleines Bächlein. Der Weg dorthin ist wunderschön, flankiert von Vegetation, hauptsächlich Araukarien und Hortensien. Am Anfang dieses Weges befinden sich einige Lamas zur großen Freude v.a. der Kinder.

Wir spazierten weiter die Natur genießend. Wir konnten sogar  Eichhörnchen beobachten. Wir entdeckten eine Gruppe von Menschen auf einem großen Felsen.

Der Park offeriert einen sehr geschätzten Bereich mit Hängematten und eine dekorative Bank für nette Erinnerungsfotos.

Am Ende des Spaziergangs nach etwa 80 Minuten saßen wir an einem der Tische, die um einen kleinen Teich herum angeordnet waren.

An diesem Tag gab es dort keine Verpflegung vor Ort. Ich musste also zum Restaurant gehen und dort unsere Getränke holen. Der Kellner fragte nur nach der roten Armbandnummer (auf dem grünen Armband gibt es keine Nummer) und gibt sie in das System ein.

Am Ausgang dann zahlen Sie alles, was Sie konsumiert haben.

Der Park offeriert auch einen großen Spielplatz mit vielseitigen Möglichkeiten für die Kinder.

Oschin Park – a plunge into nature

Oschin Park is a green area full of beauties and an ideal place for those who want to take a gentle walk in nature.

The park is located in Monte Verde about 1.7 km from the city center.

Erich and I visited this Park in May and it suited me as I couldn’t do a harder trail because I had been hit by a car the day before.

We used a transfer that cost us 50 BRL round trip from our Roots hotel.

Oschin Park has a concierge where we bought our tickets for 40 reais per person. The receptionist put a green bracelet on me and Erich a red one.

We chose to walk slowly and enjoyed the so-called Hortênsias path. The park is very well signposted as can be seen here.

First we visited the Olívia waterfall, but during our visit there was a small creek. The path to get there is beautiful flanked by vegetation, mainly araucaria and hydrangea. At the beginning of this path there are some llamas, much to the delight of the children in particular.

We continued walking enjoying nature. We even saw squirrels.

We spotted also a group of people on a large rock.

The park offers a much appreciated area with hammocks and a decorative bench for nice souvenir photos.

At the end of the walk, after about 80 minutes, we were seated at one of the tables arranged around a small pond.

There was no on-site catering that day. So I had to go to the restaurant and get our drinks there. The waiter just asked for the red wristband number (there is no number on the green wristband) and enters it into the system.

At the exit you then pay for everything you have consumed.

The park also offers a large playground with a variety of opportunities for children.

Uma Experiência Imersiva

Há pessoas que acham monótonas visitas a museus e há outras que gostam muito. Imagine conhecer um pouco sobre um dos mais renomados pintores holandeses, apreciar as suas principais obras, de forma leve, divertida e emocionante. Além de não precisar tomar um avião e ver suas pinturas no museu Van Gogh em Amsterdã ou no Louvre ou no Museu D’Orsay, em Paris.

Estamos nos referindo a exposição denominada “Beyond Van Gogh – Uma Experiência Imersiva” que acontece em São Paulo, no Morumbi Shopping.

Erich e eu tivemos o prazer de visitar esse evento. Nesse post gostaríamos de dividir com vocês algumas belas imagens dessa exposição.

Agendamos nossa visita para às 13:20 e permanecemos no local por volta de 1 hora e meia.

A exposição é dividida em partes. Inicialmente você é apresentado ao mundo de Van Gogh através de informações curtas que tratam sobre sua vida e obra. Em seguida você entra em um outro espaço onde detalhes de seu trabalho são apresentados em um telão. Após esse momento, você entra no espaço considerado “o coração da exposição “Trata-se de um grande espaço, com telas imensas onde são apresentadas imagens, de forma criativa e movimentada das suas principais obras. A impressão que eu senti é que você podia “entrar” na obra desse artista através de um mergulho em cores, luz, música, com as imagens projetadas no piso, no teto e nas paredes do grande espaço.

Essa apresentação é acompanhada por uma trilha sonora belíssima, com músicas de Pat Metheny, Oscar Alexandre Desplat, Miles David, que faz você se emocionar com tanta beleza.

Nesse grande espaço há bancos destinados preferencialmente para idosos. Muitas pessoas sentam e até se deitam no chão para apreciar o show.

Definitivamente visitar essa exposição é vivenciar uma grande experiência sensorial.

Caso você visite São Paulo, vale a pena apreciar essa exposição que estará aberta ao público até o dia 3 de julho. Depois ela segue para Brasília também em julho.

Es gibt Menschen, die finden Museumsbesuche eintönig, andere genießen sie sehr. Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie wissen ein wenig über einen der renommiertesten niederländischen Maler und genießen seine Hauptwerke auf eine leichte, unterhaltsame und aufregende Weise.

Abgesehen davon müssen Sie kein Flugzeug nehmen, um die Gemälde im Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam oder im Louvre oder im Musée D’Orsay in Paris sehen können.

Wir beziehen uns auf die Ausstellung „Beyond Van Gogh – An Immersive Experience“, die in São Paulo im Morumbi Shopping stattfindet.

In diesem Beitrag möchten wir einige der schönen Bilder dieser Ausstellung mit Ihnen teilen.

Wir planten und buchten unseren Besuch für 13:20 Uhr und wir blieben dort für etwa anderthalb Stunden.

Die Ausstellung ist in mehrere Teile gegliedert. Zunächst werden Sie durch kurze Informationen über sein Leben und sein Werk in die Welt von Van Gogh eingeführt.

Dann betritt man einen weiteren Raum, in dem Details seiner Arbeit auf einem großen Bildschirm angezeigt werden.

Dann erreichen Sie den Raum, der als „das Herz der Ausstellung“ gilt.

Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass man durch das Eintauchen in Farben, Licht und Musik in das Werk dieses Künstlers „eintreten“ konnte, wobei die Bilder auf den Boden, die Decke und die Wände des sehr großen Raumes projiziert wurden.

Die Präsentation wird von einem wunderschönen Soundtrack mit Musik von Pat Metheny, Oscar Alexandre Desplat und Miles David begleitet, der Sie mit solcher Schönheit sehr emotional fühlen lässt.

In diesem großen Raum befinden sich Bänke, die vorzugsweise für ältere Menschen bestimmt sind. Viele Leute sitzen oder liegen sogar auf dem Boden, um all die Eindrücke zu genießen.

Der Besuch dieser Ausstellung ist definitiv ein großartiges Sinneserlebnis.

Beyond Van Gogh – An Immersive Experience

There are people who find museum visits monotonous, others enjoy them immensely. Imagine knowing a little about one of the most renowned Dutch painters and enjoying his major works in a light, fun and exciting way.

Besides, you don’t have to take a plane to see the paintings at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam or the Louvre or Musée D’Orsay in Paris.

We are referring to the exhibition “Beyond Van Gogh – An Immersive Experience” taking place in São Paulo at Morumbi Shopping.

In this post we would like to share some of the beautiful images from this exhibition with you.

We planned and booked our visit for 1:20 pm and we stayed there for about an hour and a half.

The exhibition is divided into several parts. First, you will be introduced to the world of Van Gogh through brief information about his life and work.

You then enter another room where details of his work are displayed on a large screen.

Then you reach the room that is said to be “the heart of the exhibition”.

I had the impression that one could “step into” this artist’s work through immersion in colour, light and music, with the images being projected onto the floor, ceiling and walls of the very large room.

The presentation is accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack with music by Pat Metheny, Oscar Alexandre Desplat and Miles David that will make you feel very emotional with such beauty.

In this large room there are benches intended primarily for the elderly. Many people sit or even lie on the floor to enjoy all the impressions.

Visiting this exhibition is definitely a great sensory experience.

If you’re visiting São Paulo, it’s worth visiting this exhibition, which is open to the public until July 3rd. Then it’s on to Brasília in July.
