The 1.4 km long treetop path meanders past numerous information and adventure stations through the mixed mountain forest on the Grünberg.

O Maravilhoso Mundo em Miniatura é uma das atrações turísticas mais famosas de Hamburgo. Ele possui o maior modelo de sistema ferroviário do mundo e atrai mais de um milhão de visitantes todos os anos. A instalação se estende por vários andares e cobre uma área de mais de 1.500 metros quadrados.

Neste Mundo em Miniatura existem diferentes países e regiões do mundo que são representados em miniatura. Por exemplo, existem modelos de Hamburgo, Áustria, Suíça, EUA e Escandinávia. Os modelos são muito detalhados e há muitos elementos interativos para descobrir.

Além das paisagens em miniatura, há também um aeroporto com aviões reais decolando e pousando, e uma cidade com luzes piscando e carros em movimento. A réplica do porto de Hamburgo, incluindo a famosa Elbphilharmonie, é particularmente impressionante.

Blumenau e Pomerode são duas belas cidades do estado de Santa Catarina, no sul do Brasil. Ambas as cidades têm uma rica história e cultura que atraem visitantes de todo o mundo.

Blumenau é mais conhecida pela Oktoberfest, que acontece todos os anos no mês de outubro e é a maior festa folclórica alemã fora da Alemanha. Fundada por imigrantes alemães no século 19, a cidade tem forte presença alemã em sua cultura, arquitetura e gastronomia. A cidade também tem uma variedade de edifícios históricos, museus e parques para explorar. O Rio Grande do Norte está localizado na região nordeste do Brasil e é um estado famoso por possuir praias deslumbrantes. Natal é o portão de entrada para se conhecer as belezas desse pequeno estado. Porém, os atrativos naturais da terra potiguar não se resumem apenas às praias. Existem outras surpresas naturais que encantam os amantes da natureza.

Neste post gostaria de apresentar para vocês as belezas da Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Ponta do Tubarão localizada nos municípios de Macau e Guamaré, litoral setentrional do Rio Grande do Norte. Trata-se da “…região compreendida pelo sistema estuarino do Rio Tubarão, a Ponta do Tubarão, as dunas e a restinga adjacentes aos Distritos de Diogo Lopes e Barreiras…” (Lei Estadual n^o.8.349 de 18/07/2003). A principal atividade econômica nessa área é a pesca artesanal.

Os principais ecossistemas existentes nessa RDS são as restinga, manguezal, dunas, falésias, estuário, caatinga e lagoas.

Erich e eu tivemos a oportunidade de visitar essa região e ficamos encantados com a beleza do lugar. A paisagem é deslumbrante e atrai definitivamente os que gostam de estar pertinho da natureza. O que mais nos encantou foi um passeio de barco que realizamos com um pescador nativo que nos conduziu pelas gamboas do manguezal onde pudemos apreciar a beleza da vegetação, os pássaros que faziam sobrevoo perto do nosso barco, o som dos habitantes desse ecossistema tão rico que é o mangue. Aliás, vale ressaltar que o manguezal, de acordo com o Portal de Ecologia Aquática, “… é considerado um ecossistema costeiro de transição entre os ambientes terrestre e marinho…”.

Além desse passeio de barco, essa região é muito visitada pelos que praticam o kitesurf, principalmente entre os meses de setembro até março, quando os ventos predominantes propiciam condições ideias para a prática desse esporte. Essa parte da costa do Rio Grande do Norte também possui praias com areia branquinha de onde se pode avistar algumas plataformas de exploração de petróleo. Para os que gostam de usar caiaques, é possível realizar passeios tranquilos pelas águas do Rio Tubarão.

A infraestrutura do lugar é básica, a RDS Ponta do Tubarão possui poucas pousadas e restaurantes.

Como chegar: sair de Natal na direção de Macau. Antes de chegar nessa cidade, entre à direita no sentido RDS Ponta do Tubarão. São três comunidades localizadas na área da RDS: Barreiras, Diogo Lopes e Sertãozinho. Nos hospedamos em Barreiras, na Pousada Dona Fátima, que está localizada em torno de 170 km do Aeroporto Internacional de Natal.

Die natürlichen Attraktionen des „Potiguar-Landes“ beschränken sich jedoch nicht nur auf die Strände. Es gibt noch weitere Attraktionen für Naturliebhaber.

In diesem Beitrag möchte ich Ihnen die Schönheiten des Reservats für nachhaltige Entwicklung Ponta do Tubarão vorstellen, welches sich in den Gemeinden Macau und Guamaré an der Nordküste von Rio Grande do Norte befindet. Dies ist die „…Region, die das Mündungssystem des Flusses Tubarão, Ponta do Tubarão, die Dünen und die Restinga umfasst, die an die Distrikte Diogo Lopes und Barreiras angrenzt…“ (Staatsgesetz Nr. 8.349 vom 18.07.) 2003). Die wichtigste wirtschaftliche Aktivität in diesem Gebiet ist die handwerkliche Fischerei.

Die wichtigsten bestehenden Ökosysteme in diesem RDS sind Sandbänke, Mangroven, Dünen, Klippen, Flussmündungen, Caatinga und Seen.

Erich und ich hatten die Gelegenheit, diese Region zu besuchen und waren von der Schönheit des Ortes begeistert. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend und zieht definitiv diejenigen an, die gerne in der Natur unterwegs sind. Was uns am meisten verzauberte war eine Bootsfahrt, die wir mit einem einheimischen Fischer unternahmen, der uns durch die Mangroven führte, wo wir die Schönheit der Vegetation, die Vögel, die in der Nähe unseres Bootes flogen, und die Geräusche der Bewohner dieses so reichen Ökosystems genießen konnten Es ist die Mangrove. Erwähnenswert ist übrigens, dass die Mangrove laut dem Aquatic Ecology Portal „…als Küstenökosystem des Übergangs zwischen der terrestrischen und der marinen Umwelt gilt…“.

Abgesehen von dieser Bootsfahrt wird diese Region viel von Kitesurfern besucht, insbesondere zwischen September und März, wenn die vorherrschenden Winde ideale Bedingungen für die Ausübung dieses Sports bieten. Dieser Teil der Küste von Rio Grande do Norte hat auch Strände mit weißem Sand, von denen aus Sie einige Ölförderplattformen sehen können. Für diejenigen, die gerne Kajaks benutzen, ist es möglich, friedliche Spazierfahrten durch die Gewässer des Flusses Tubarão zu unternehmen.

Located in northeastern Brazil, Rio Grande do Norte is famous for its stunning beaches. Natal is the gateway to discover the beauties of this small state. However, the natural attractions of “Potiguar Land” are not limited to the beaches. There are other attractions for nature lovers.

In this post I want to introduce you to the beauties of the Ponta do Tubarão Sustainable Development Reserve, located in the municipalities of Macau and Guamaré, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Norte. This is the “…region that includes the estuary system of the Tubarão River, Ponta do Tubarão, the Dunes and the Restinga, bordering the districts of Diogo Lopes and Barreiras…” (State Law No. 8.349 of 07/18) 2003). The main economic activity in this area is artisanal fishing.

The major existing ecosystems in this RDS are sandbars, mangroves, dunes, cliffs, estuaries, caatinga and lakes.

Erich and I had the opportunity to visit this region and were amazed by the beauty of the place. The scenery is stunning and definitely attracts those who enjoy being in nature. What enchanted us the most was a boat trip we took with a local fisherman who took us through the mangroves so rich in the beauty of the vegetation, the birds that flew near our boat and the sounds of the residents ecosystem, the mangrove. Incidentally, it is worth noting that, according to the Aquatic Ecology Portal, the mangrove “…is considered a coastal ecosystem of transition between the terrestrial and marine environments…”.

Apart from this boat trip, this region is very popular with kitesurfers, especially between September and March when the prevailing winds offer ideal conditions for practicing this sport. This part of the Rio Grande do Norte coast also has white sand beaches from which you can see some oil platforms. For those who enjoy using kayaks, it is possible to take peaceful cruises through the waters of the Tubarão River.

The infrastructure of the place is simple, RDS Ponta do Tubarão has few inns and restaurants.

How to get there: Leave Natal for Macau. Before reaching this town, turn right towards RDS Ponta do Tubarão. There are three municipalities in the RDS area: Barreiras, Diogo Lopes and Sertãozinho. Durante nossa última visita a Berlim realizamos um desejo há muito acalentado, ou seja, visitar o “Spreewald”.

Então, seguimos para Lübbenau de trem, cerca de 100 km, usando uma das conexões de trem ecológicas de hora em hora.

A paisagem única de Spreewald foi declarada reserva da biosfera em 1990. O Spreewald está aberto diariamente e pode ser visitado gratuitamente.

Uma curta caminhada (cerca de 8oo m) nos trouxe em Lübbenau da estação de trem para o pequeno porto Kleiner Hafen “Am Spreeschlösschen”, ponto de partida de aprox. Excursão „Kleine Lehde“ de 3 horas, em um tradicional barco de mesa, empilhado à mão pelo barqueiro com assentos confortáveis.

O passeio conduz por uma grande paisagem natural passando por casas típicas, o silêncio é impressionante após o barulho agitado da cidade de Berlim e as frases engraçadas e a comunicação com o barqueiro são emocionantes.

Visitar a vila de Spreewald “Lehde” significa visitar o museu ao ar livre mais antigo de Brandemburgo e conhecer o modo de vida, as tradições e a cultura de seus habitantes no passado.

Während unseres letzten Besuches in Berlin verwirklichten wir einen langersehnten Wunsch, nämlich einmal den „Spreewald“ zu besuchen.

Also machten wir uns per Bahn auf den Weg nach Lübbenau, etwa 100 km, eine der stündlich angebotenen umweltfreundlichen Zugverbindungen nutzend.

Die einzigartige Spreewaldlandschaft wurde 1990 zum Biosphärenreservat erklärt. Der Spreewald hat täglich geöffnet und ist kostenlos besuchbar.

Ein kleiner Spaziergang (etwa 8oom) brachte uns in Lübbenau vom Bahnhof zum Kleiner Hafen „Am Spreeschlösschen“, Ausgangspunkt unserer ca. 3- stündigen Kleine Lehde – Rundfahrt, in einem traditionellen Tischkahn, durch den Fährmann handgestakt mit bequemen Sitzen.

Die Tour führt durch eine tolle Naturlandschaft vorbei an typischen Häusern, die Stille ist nach dem hektischen Großstadt Lärm Berlins beeindruckend und die lustigen Sprüche und die Kommunikation mit dem Fährmann dazu herzerfrischend. Der Besuch des Spreewalddorfes „Lehde“ bedeutet, das älteste Freiluftmuseum Brandenburgs zu besuchen und die Lebensweisen, Traditionen und Kultur seiner Bewohner kennenzulernen.

Es gibt sehr viele Optionen für Kahnfahrten und mannigfachen weiteren Aktivitäten zu allen Jahreszeiten und Anlässen im Spreewald.

Spreewald boat trip in Lübbenau

During our last visit to Berlin we realized a long-cherished wish, namely to visit the “Spreewald”.

So we made our way to Lübbenau by train, about 100 km, using one of the hourly environmentally friendly train connections.

The unique Spreewald landscape was declared a biosphere reserve in 1990. The Spreewald is open daily and can be visited free of charge.

A short walk (about 8oo m) brought us in Lübbenau from the train station to the small harbor Kleiner Hafen “Am Spreeschlösschen”, starting point of our approx. 3-hour „Kleine Lehde“ tour, in a traditional table boat, hand-stacked by the ferryman with comfortable seats.

The tour leads through a great natural landscape passing typical houses, the silence is impressive after the hectic city noise of Berlin and the funny sayings and the communication with the ferryman are heartwarming.

Visiting the Spreewald village “Lehde” means visiting the oldest open-air museum in Brandenburg and getting to know the way of life, traditions and culture of its inhabitants in the past.

There are many options for boat trips and many other activities for all seasons and occasions in the Spreewald.

Desde criança, meu sonho era viajar pelo mundo. Aqui está a parte 3 da nossa aventura única de 66 dias.

No final desse texto apresentamos, através de um filme de fotos algumas impressões das nossas estações em Londres (Inglaterra), Irlanda e Portugal.

Depois de um voo de 8 horas partindo de Dubai, chegamos a Londres, o ponto original oficial de início e fim de nossa circunavegação do mundo, agora também chamada de “RTW”, “Round The World”.

Aqui estão alguns números como um guia:

Em Londres passamos alguns dias relaxando e descansando, veja mais aqui.

Antes de iniciarmos nossa viagem de volta ao Brasil, fizemos um pequeno desvio para a Irlanda com breves passagens por Dublin e a paisagem selvagem do penhasco em Cliffs of Moher, muito impressionante!

Da Irlanda continuamos em direção a casa com outra pequena parada em Lisboa e divertidas excursões à vizinha Cascais e também a atraente Azenhas do Mar com localização única.

Felizes e cheios de várias impressões do que havíamos vivido e visto em 11 países e um total de 29 destinos de viagem visitados individualmente e acima de tudo saudáveis, finalmente chegamos em casa em Natal, sem saber que muito em breve uma pandemia indescritível iria impedir qualquer atividade de viagem por muito tempo.

Seit meinen Kindheitstagen war es mein Traum, einmal eine Weltreise zu machen. Hier nun der Teil 3 unseres 66tägigen einzigartigen Abenteuers.

Ein weiterer Foto-Film möchte Ihnen nun einige Eindrücke auf unseren Stationen in London (England), Irland und Portugal vermitteln.

Von Dubai aus gelangten wir nach einem 8- stündigen Flug nach London, dem ursprünglichen offiziellen Start- und Zielpunkt unserer Weltumrundung, hier nun auch „RTW“ genannt, „Round The World“.

Anbei einige Zahlen als Orientierungshilfe.

In London verbrachten wir einige Tage zum Entspannen und Relaxen, mehr hierzu finden Sie hier.

Bevor wir uns auf die Heimreise nach Brasilien begaben, machten wir noch einen kleinen Abstecher nach Irland mit Kurzbesuchen in Dublin, siehe hier,und der wilden Klippenlandschaft in Cliffs of Moher, sehr beeindruckend!

Von Irland aus ging es weiter in Richtung Heimat mit einem nochmaligen kurzen Stopp in Lissabon und kurzweiligen Ausflügen in das nahegelegene Cascais

und auch das attraktive einmalig gelegene Azenhas do Mar.

Glücklich und voller diverser Eindrücke vom Erlebten und Gesehenen in 11 Ländern und insgesamt 29 individuellen besuchten Reisezielen und/aber v.a. gesund kamen wir schließlich wieder in Natal, zuhause, an, nichtsahnend, dass sehr bald eine unsägliche Pandemie jegliche Reiseaktivität für sehr lange Zeit komplett verhindern würde.

Around the World in 66 Days – Part 3

Ever since I was a child, it has been my dream to travel around the world. Here is part 3 of our 66-day unique adventure.

Another PhotoFilm would now like to give you some impressions of our stations in London (England), Ireland and Portugal.

After an 8-hour flight from Dubai, we arrived in London, the original official start and end point of our circumnavigation of the world, here now also called “RTW”, “Round The World”.

Here are some numbers as a guide:

Before we started our journey home to Brazil, we made a small detour to Ireland with short visits to Dublin, see here, and the wild cliff landscape at Cliffs of Moher, very impressive!

From Ireland we continued towards home with another short stop in Lisbon and entertaining excursions to nearby Cascais and also the attractive uniquely located Azenhas do Mar.

Happy and full of various impressions of what we had experienced and seen in 11 countries and a total of 29 individually visited travel destinations and/or above all healthy, we finally arrived back at home in Natal, unaware that very soon an unspeakable pandemic would completely prevent any travel activity for a very long time.

O Rio de Janeiro é cheio de belezas que atraem visitantes de diversas partes do mundo. Isso todo mundo sabe. Erich e eu já visitamos essa cidade inúmeras vezes, porém, estava faltando conhecer o Museu do Amanhã. Eu, arquiteta, desde o primeiro momento que tomei conhecimento sobre o Projeto de Arquitetura do Museu fiquei impressionada com a concepção arquitetônica do mesmo e curiosa para conhecer seu acervo.

Primeiro, é importante destacar que a construção desse edifício está inserido no “maior projeto de desenvolvimento urbano…”do país, que é o projeto de requalificação da região do porto da cidade do Rio de Janeiro com uma área de 34,6 mil metros quadrados do Píer Mauá.

O Museu do Amanhã possui 15 mil metros quadrados de área construída e está localizado no Porto Maravilha, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. O edifício é circundado por área de lazer, ciclovia, espelhos d´água e jardim, sendo o último projetado pelo escritório Burle Marx. O projeto arquitetônico é do renomado arquiteto espanhol Santiago Calatrava. A forma do edifício foi inspirada nas bromélias do Jardim Botânico, de acordo com Calatrava.

Segundo o site do Museu, essa instituição “…é um museu de ciências diferente. Um ambiente de ideias, explorações e perguntas sobre a época de grandes mudanças em que vivemos e os diferentes caminhos que se abrem para o futuro.

A Exposição Principal do Museu do Amanhã está localizada no segundo andar do prédio e o visitante percorre cinco áreas: Cosmos, Terra, Antropoceno, Amanhãs e Nós, com diversas informações apresentadas em português, espanhol e inglês.

Rio de Janeiro ist voller Attraktionen, welche Besucher aus aller Welt anziehen. Das weiß jeder. Erich und ich haben diese Stadt schon oft besucht, aber was gefehlt hat, war das Museum of Tomorrow. Ich, ein Architekt, war vom ersten Moment an, als ich vom Architekturprojekt des Museums erfuhr, beeindruckt von seinem architektonischen Design und neugierig auf seine Sammlungen.

Zunächst ist es wichtig hervorzuheben, dass der Bau dieses Gebäudes Teil des „größten Stadtentwicklungsprojekts …“ des Landes ist, nämlich des Requalifizierungsprojekts für die Hafenregion der Stadt Rio de Janeiro mit einer Fläche von 34.600 Quadratmetern vom Pier Mauá.

Das Museum of Tomorrow hat eine bebaute Fläche von 15.000 Quadratmetern und befindet sich in Porto Maravilha in der Stadt Rio de Janeiro. Das Gebäude ist umgeben von einem Freizeitbereich, einem Fahrradweg, reflektierenden Wasserbecken und einem Garten, der vom Büro Burle Marx entworfen wurde. Das architektonische Projekt stammt von dem renommierten spanischen Architekten Santiago Calatrava. Die Form des Gebäudes sei von den Bromelien des Botanischen Gartens inspiriert, so Calatrava.

Laut der Website des Museums ist diese Institution „… ein etwas anderes Wissenschaftsmuseum. Ein Umfeld voller Ideen, Erkundungen und Fragen über die Zeit großer Veränderungen, in der wir leben, und die verschiedenen Wege, die sich für die Zukunft eröffnen.“

Die Hauptausstellung des Museum of Tomorrow befindet sich im zweiten Stock des Gebäudes und der Besucher reist durch fünf Bereiche: Kosmos, Erde, Anthropozän, Morgen und Wir, mit verschiedenen Informationen, die auf Portugiesisch, Spanisch und Englisch präsentiert werden.

Rio de Janeiro is full of attractions that attract visitors from all over the world. Everyone knows that. Erich and I have visited this city many times, but what was missing was the Museum of Tomorrow. I, an architect, from the first moment I learned about the museum’s architectural project, I was impressed by its architectural design and curious about its collections.

First of all it is important to point out, that the construction of this building is part of the country’s “largest urban development project…”, namely the requalification project for the port area of the city of Rio de Janeiro, covering an area of 34,600 square meters from the Pier Mauá.

The Museum of Tomorrow has a built area of 15,000 square meters and is located in Porto Maravilha in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The building is surrounded by a leisure area, a bike path, reflecting pools and a garden designed by the Burle Marx office. The architectural project comes from the renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. According to Calatrava, the shape of the building was inspired by the bromeliads in the botanical gardens.

According to the museum’s website, this institution is “…a science museum with a difference. An environment full of ideas, explorations and questions about the time of great change we are living in and the different avenues opening up for the future.”

The main exhibition of the Museum of Tomorrow is on the second floor of the building and the visitor travels through five areas: Cosmos, Earth, Anthropocene, Tomorrow and We, with various information presented in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

A Volta ao Mundo em 66 Dias – Parte 2

Desde criança meu sonho era realizar uma viagem ao redor do mundo, aqui está a parte 2 da nossa aventura de 66 dias.

O filme de fotos no final desse texto apresenta algumas impressões sobre nossas estações em Cingapura, Nepal e Dubai.

De Alice Springs, na Austrália pegamos um voo com duração de três horas até Perth e em seguida outro voo de cinco horas e meia até Cingapura.

Esta cidade fascina pela sua limpeza e segurança, características cada vez mais problemáticas em muitas metrópoles do nosso planeta devido às alterações climáticas, à política e aos fluxos de refugiados.

Esta metrópole no Sudeste Asiático oferece arquitetura fabulosa, atrações fenomenais, excelentes hotéis, restaurantes e oportunidades ilimitadas de compras. Cingapura também é um importante centro de viagens para se visitar outros destinos na Ásia.

Em vários posts descrevemos nossas experiências como Sentosa, a ilha muito procurada para entretenimento e diversão.

As cúpulas de flores e florestas tropicais também impressionam com sua arquitetura e explosão de cores, uma visita é altamente recomendada.

Sim, podemos afirmar que Cingapura pode ser chamada de pérola do Sudeste Asiático para nós.

Nossa próxima etapa nos levou a Katmandu, no Nepal. O voo durou cerca de 5 horas e chegamos ao aeroporto local por volta da meia-noite. Na manhã seguinte pudemos ver e sentir que havíamos chegado a um mundo completamente diferente, os contrastes não poderiam ser maiores. Muito barulho, multidões em todos os lugares, caos no trânsito e as consequências do devastador terremoto de 2015 podem ser vistos em todos os lugares.

Também planejamos algumas excursões para nossos seis dias no Nepal e as organizamos com uma agência de viagens local. O destaque foi um voo panorâmico sobre a Cordilheira do Himalaia com ótimas vistas do Monte Everest, uma experiência inesquecível.

Nos nossos posts sobre o Nepal e Kathmandu você pode ler mais sobre as nossas impressões ou coisas que vale a pena saber se estás a planejar uma viagem a este país com as suas magníficas paisagens montanhosas.

Um voo relativamente curto de 4 horas então nos trouxe até Dubai nos Emirados Árabes Unidos, depois do Nepal novamente uma viagem a um mundo totalmente oposto com imponentes superlativos de todos os tipos, depois do Nepal isso foi como chegar um “lugar conto de fadas das 1001 Noites”.

Uma viagem de um dia também nos levou a Abu Dhabi com sua famosa Mesquita Sheikh Zayed.

Em nossos posts você pode saber mais sobre as atrações de Dubai, que também foi o local originalmente planejado para a exposição mundial EXPO em 2020.

A 3ª e última parte de nossa viagem ao mundo nos levará a Londres, Irlanda e Portugal após 66 dias.

De lá é finalmente de volta para casa – Brasil…!!

Von Alice Springs in Australien brachte uns zunächst ein 3stündiger Flug nach Perth und dann ein weiterer in 5,5 Stunden nach Singapur. Diese Stadt fasziniert durch seine Sauberkeit und Sicherheit, Charakteristika, die in vielen Metropolen unserer Erde heutzutage auch durch den Klimawandel, Politik und Flüchtlingsströme zusehends extrem problembehaftet sind.

Diese Metropole in Südostasien offeriert sagenhafte Architektur, phänomenale Attraktionen, superbe Hotels, Restaurants und unbeschränkte Shoppingmöglichkeiten, darüber hinaus ist Singapur ein bedeutendes Drehkreuz für Reisen in und nach Asien.

Auch der Blumen- und Regenwalddom überzeugen mit Architektur und Farbenpracht, ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Ja, wir können festhalten, dass Singapur für uns als ein Schatz (Perle) Südostasiens bezeichnet werden kann.

Unsere nächste Etappe brachte uns nach Kathmandu in Nepal. Der Flug dauerte etwa 5 Stunden und wir erreichten gegen Mitternacht am dortigen Airport. Am nächsten Morgen konnten wir dann sehen und spüren, dass wir nun in einer ganz anderen Welt angekommen waren, die Gegensätze hätten nicht grösser sein können. Viel Lärm, überall Menschenmengen, Verkehrschaos und überall auch noch die Folgen des verheerenden Erdbebens vom Jahre 2015 zu sehen.

Auch für unsere 6 Tage in Nepal hatten wir einige Ausflüge geplant und mit einem hiesigen Reisebüro organisiert, das Highlight war ein Panorama-Flug im Himalaya Massiv mit tollen Ausblicken auf den Mount Everest, ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Ein relativ kurzer Flug von 4 Stunden brachte uns dann nach Dubai in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, nach Nepal wieder eine Reise in eine total gegensätzliche Welt mit imposanten Superlativen aller Art, war dies nach Nepal eine Art Fata Morgana oder ein Märchen aus 1001 Nacht.

Ein Tagesausflug führte uns auch nach Abu Dhabi mit seiner berühmtem Scheich-Zayid- Moschee.

Der 3. Und letzte Teil unserer Weltreise wird uns dann nach 66 Tagen nach London, Irland und Portugal führen

Von dort geht es dann schließlich zurück nach Hause – Brasilien…!!

Around the World in 66 Days – Part 2

Ever since I was a child it has been my dream to go on a trip around the world, here is part 2 of our 66-day adventure.

A photo Film would now like to give you some impressions of our stations in Singapore, Nepal and Dubai.

From Alice Springs in Australia we took a 3 hour flight to Perth and then another 5,5 hour flight to Singapore.

This city fascinates with its cleanliness and safety, characteristics that are increasingly problematic in many metropolises on our planet due to climate change, politics and refugee flows.

This metropolis in Southeast Asia offers fabulous architecture, phenomenal attractions, superb hotels, restaurants and unlimited shopping opportunities, Singapore is also a major hub for travel to and from Asia.

In several posts we describe our experiences such as Sentosa, the very popular island for entertainment and fun.

The flower and rainforest domes also impress with their architecture and blaze of colour, a visit is highly recommended.

Yes, we can state that Singapore can be called a treasure (pearl) of Southeast Asia for us.

Our next stage brought us to Kathmandu in Nepal. The flight took about 5 hours and we arrived at the local airport around midnight. The next morning we could see and feel that we had now arrived in a completely different world, the contrasts could not have been greater. Lots of noise, crowds everywhere, traffic chaos and the consequences of the devastating earthquake of 2015 can be seen everywhere.

We had also planned some excursions for our 6 days in Nepal and organized them with a local travel agency. The highlight was a panoramic flight in the Himalayas with great views of Mount Everest, an unforgettable experience.

A relatively short flight of 4 hours then brought us to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, after Nepal again a journey into a totally opposite world with imposing superlatives of all kinds, after Nepal this was a kind of Fata Morgana or a fairy tale from 1001 Nights.

A day trip also took us to Abu Dhabi with its famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

The 3rd and last part of our world trip will then take us to London, Ireland and Portugal after 66 days

From there it’s finally back home – Brazil…!!
