A vila de Jericoacoara fica no estado do Ceará, no nordeste do Brasil, e é considerada um dos destinos de praia mais bonitos da América do Sul.

O antigo vilarejo de pescadores está localizado cerca de 300 quilômetros a oeste da cidade de Fortaleza e está dentro de uma grande área de preservação natural com dunas, lagoas e praias de areia infinita.

Outro símbolo do lugar é a formação rochosa Pedra Furada, um arco natural esculpido pelo vento e pelas ondas.

Jericoacoara é muito procurada por praticantes de windsurf e kitesurf, pois os ventos são ideais quase o ano inteiro. Apesar do turismo crescente, a vila manteve sua atmosfera tranquila e relaxada. A maioria das ruas é de areia e grandes hotéis não são permitidos no centro. Em vez disso, há pequenas pousadas, restaurantes e bares com música brasileira.
