Desde criança meu sonho era viajar pelo mundo, principalmente inspirado nos filmes de aventura de Júlio Verne.
Finalmente, aos 63 anos, pude realizar esse sonho com a Márcia e ficamos extremamente felizes que esse projeto de viagem pelo mundo pudesse acontecer antes da pandemia e pudéssemos começar e terminar a viagem conforme planejado.
Em 3 partes queremos partilhar com vocês algumas impressões visuais desta viagem de aventura, experiências com diferentes culturas, línguas, religiões, zonas climáticas, paisagens e sobretudo pessoas.
Antes de iniciarmos essa viagem em Londres passamos alguns dias em Munique com amigos e familiares em 2018. De Londres voamos para Santiago no Chile em um voo que durou 15 horas. Descansamos um pouco na capital chilena e de lá seguimos, em um voo que durou 5 horas, para a impressionante Ilha de Páscoa (Rapa Nui) com seus sítios arqueológicos onde se encontram Moais, aquelas esculturas colossais feitas de blocos monolíticos de pedra.
Passamos 3 noites e 4 dias na ilha. Com um carro alugado foi muito fácil visitar todos os pontos turísticos.
De Rapa Nui a viagem nos levou em um voo de 6 horas até Papeete no Tahiti, puro exotismo, florestas tropicais, cachoeiras, flores, jardins aquáticos, cavernas e gente simpática.
Depois de mais 6 horas de voo chegamos em Auckland, na Nova Zelândia, que eu acho um país muito fascinante. Primeiro exploramos a cidade e realizamos excursões pela cidade, depois fizemos o check-in em um navio de cruzeiro que primeiro nos levou a vários pontos turísticos do país, seguido de uma travessia para a Austrália.
Esta viagem marítima foi para nós um momento muito especial, pois significou poder celebrar o Natal em alto mar em 2018, uma experiência brilhante.
Este cruzeiro de 12 dias teve paradas com várias excursões em terra nos seguintes portos/lugares: Tauranga, Akaroa, Dunedin, Fiordland National Park, depois Hobart na Tasmânia na Austrália, Melbourne e finalmente Sydney, onde também pudemos celebrar o Novo Ano de 2019.
De Sydney visitamos as Blue Mountains e depois via Alice Springs passamos alguns dias em Uluru, local da misteriosa e impressionante Ayers Rock no centro da Austrália.
Novamente de Alice Springs a viagem nos levou via Perth a Cingapura, para nós uma das metrópoles mais impressionantes da Ásia.

Einmal um die Welt in 66 Tagen – Teil 1
Seit meinen Kindheitstagen war es mein Traum, einmal eine Weltreise zu machen, v.a. damals inspiriert durch die Abenteuerfilme von Jules Verne.
Nun letztendlich mit 63 Jahren konnte ich diesen Traum mit Marcia realisieren und worüber wir extrem glücklich waren und bis heute sind, dass dieses Weltreiseprojekt noch vor der unsäglichen Pandemie stattfinden konnte und wir die Reise so wie geplant beginnen und auch beenden konnten.
In 3 Teilen möchten wir nun mit Ihnen einige visuelle Impressionen dieses abenteuerlichen Trips teilen, Erfahrungen mit unterschiedlichen Kulturen, Sprachen, Religionen, Klimazonen, Landschaften und v.a. Menschen.
In München genossen wir dann also im Jahr 2018 noch ein paar vorweihnachtliche Tage mit Freunden und Familie, bevor es dann in London begann mit einem 15 stündigen Flug nach Santiago de Chile, einer kurzen Ruhepause und Weiterflug (5 Stunden) auf die beeindruckenden Osterinseln (Rapa Nui) mit ihren archäologischen Stätten, wo sich die meisten Moas befinden, diese kolossalen Skulpturen aus monolithischen Steinblöcken.
Wir haben 3 Nächte und 4 Tage auf der Insel zugebracht. Mit dem gemieteten Auto war es sehr einfach, all die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen.
Von Rapa Nui aus führte uns die Reise in einem 6 stündigen Flug nach Papeete auf Tahiti, Exotik pur, tropischen Wäldern, Wasserfällen, Blumen, Wassergärten, Höhlen und freundlichen Menschen.
Nach einem weiteren etwa 6 stündiger Flug kamen wir in Auckland auf Neuseeland an, ein, wie ich meine, sehr faszinierendes Land. Zunächst erkundeten wir die Stadt und machten Ausflüge im Umfeld der Stadt, dann checkten wir auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff ein, das uns zunächst zu verschiedenen touristischen Höhepunkten des Landes brachte mit anschließender Überfahrt nach Australien.
Diese Seereise war für uns ein ganz besonderes Highlight, da es für uns bedeutete, dieses 2018 Weihnachten auf hoher See feiern zu dürfen, ein geniales Erlebnis.
Diese 12 tägige Kreuzfahrt hatte in folgenden Häfen/Orten Stopps mit diversen Landausflugsmöglichkeiten: Tauranga, Akaroa, Dunedin, Fiordland National Park, dann Hobart auf Tasmanien in Australien, Melbourne und schließlich Sydney, wo wir dann auch in das Neue Jahr 2019 hineinfeiern durften.
Von Sydney aus besuchten wir die Blue Mountains und dann verbrachten wir via Alice Springs einige Tage in Uluru, diesem geheimnisumwitterten und sehr beeindruckenden Ayers Rock im Zentrum Australiens.
Wieder von Alice Springs aus führte uns dann die Reise via Perth nach Singapur, für uns eine der imposantesten Metropolen Asiens auf unserem Planeten.

Around the World in 66 Days – Part 1
Ever since I was a child it has been my dream to travel around the world, mainly inspired by Jules Verne’s adventure films.
Finally, at the age of 63, I was able to realize this dream with Marcia and we were extremely happy that this world travel project could take place before the unspeakable pandemic and we were able to start and end the trip as planned.
In 3 parts we would like to share with you some visual impressions of this adventurous trip, experiences with different cultures, languages, religions, climate zones, landscapes and above all people.
So in Munich we enjoyed a few more pre-Christmas days with friends and family in 2018, before we started in London with a 15-hour flight to Santiago de Chile, a short rest and a further flight (5 hours) to the impressive Easter Island (Rapa Nui) with its archeological sites where most of the Moas are found, those colossal sculptures made from monolithic blocks of stone.
We spent 3 nights and 4 days on the island. With the rented car it was very easy to visit all the sights.
From Rapa Nui the journey took us in a 6-hour flight to Papeete in Tahiti, pure exoticism, tropical forests, waterfalls, flowers, water gardens, caves and friendly people.
After another 6 hour flight we arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, which I think is a very fascinating country. First we explored the city and made excursions around the city, then we checked in on a cruise ship that first took us to various tourist highlights in the country, followed by a crossing to Australia.
This sea voyage was a very special highlight for us, as it meant being able to celebrate Christmas on the high seas in 2018, a brilliant experience.
This 12-day cruise had stops with various shore excursion options in the following ports/places: Tauranga, Akaroa, Dunedin, Fiordland National Park, then Hobart on Tasmania in Australia, Melbourne and finally Sydney, where we were also allowed to celebrate the New Year 2019.
From Sydney we visited the Blue Mountains and then via Alice Springs we spent a few days in Uluru, this mysterious and very impressive Ayers Rock in central Australia.
Again from Alice Springs, the journey took us via Perth to Singapore, for us one of the most impressive metropolises in Asia on our planet.
