Planejamos nossa permanência de 5 dias em Dubai nos seus mínimos detalhes, por nossa conta e risco.

Saímos de Natal até o Rio pela Gol, às 17h00, num voo direto, por quase 3 horas, chegando ao Galeão por volta das 20h00. Tivemos que aguardar o voo para Dubai previsto para 2h00 da manhã seguinte; portanto, ficamos esperando o horário do voo por 6h00! Embarcamos às 2h00 pela Emirates, num voo que vinha de Buenos Aires. A lotação do avião: 100%! O serviço de bordo e tratamento de comissários foi exemplar, porém, os assentos eram muito desconfortáveis por serem juntos e pouco espaçosos. Afinal foram 14h00 de voo até Dubai!

Em Dubai são 7h00 a mais que no Brasil. Deste modo, chegamos lá às 16h00 – hora de Brasília, e às 23h00 – hora local.

A suntuosidade e a grandeza saltam à nossa vista ao circularmos no Aeroporto de Dubai. Os serviços de alfândega e de trânsito de estrangeiros é rápido e objetivo, sem intercorrências. Dentro do aeroporto há lojas de operadoras de telefonia celular para a venda de chips: escolhemos a ETISALAT, a primeira loja ao sairmos das barreiras alfandegária e de passaporte. Tudo muito prático, mesmo sem falarmos o idioma local: nada que um misto de idiomas anglo-hispânico não resolva.

Pegamos um taxi para o nosso hotel, o Best Western Pearl Plus Creek, localizado às margens do Dubai Creek: 15 minutos, apenas, e pagamos 40 dihrans que, divididos por 4 ficou em conta. Naquele momento, o Dihran estava mais valorizado que o Real: R$1,00 equivaleu a Dh 1,40.—-> 1Dh = R$ 1,40

Nossa taxista estava devidamente vestida como muçulmana, de poucas palavras, mas, competente ao volante.

Chegamos ao Hotel, nos instalamos num quarto para 4 pessoas. Excelentes instalações, uma recepção muito simpática ( havíamos reservado este hotel 6 meses antes pelo site do Hoteis.com). Deixamos tudo no quarto e subimos ao último andar do hotel para apreciar a paisagem e tomar um drink comemorando a nossa chegada. A vista do alto do hotel é um espetáculo!

De lá avistamos o canal Dubai Creek, as embarcações nos seus mais variados modelos, algumas bem estilosas, outras mais simples que remetem ao passado provinciano da cidade: afinal, a Dubai moderna tem apenas 30 anos! Avistamos, ao longe, a grande moldura – Dubai Frame, a maior moldura do mundo.

Aliás, daí pra frente, tudo o que vimos em Dubai moderna “é o maior do mundo!”.

Descemos para descansar e iniciar nosso passeio após merecido repouso.

Algumas horas depois, acordamos e fomos ao café do hotel: frutas, muitas tâmaras, damascos, romãs, alguns pratos apimentados, feijões diversos, coalhadas, enfim, tudo o que é característico do mundo árabe. Após o café, “pernas para que te quero!”.

Iniciamos nossa caminhada pelo Deira, bairro onde fica o hotel, local dos mais antigos da cidade, onde se encontram ruas estreitas,

muito comércio,

edificações nostálgicas, souks variados- mercados, tudo isto sob um calor escaldante!

Ah, esqueci de mencionar que fomos à época do Ramadan, a páscoa dos muçulmanos, que iniciou em 04 de maio e terminou em 05 de junho. Neste período, não se come durante o dia; é proibido fumar e beber e, mesmo os estrangeiros, não devem fazê-lo em público, estando liberados a partir do pôr do sol. Só podíamos comer e beber em ambientes fechados com cortinas ou lonas.

Fomos informadas que, neste período, o comércio tem uma queda no seu movimento e as ruas ficam mais tranquilas para o turista.

Passamos o dia conhecendo locais e apreciando as casas antigas de sheiks,

mercados, toda uma arquitetura rústica e de uma beleza inigualável.

No dia seguinte, fomos ao Bur Dubai, do outro lado do canal. Pegamos um “abra”, um pequeno barco que faz a travessia do canal e funciona durante 24 horas. A tarifa é Dh1.

Ao chegar no Bur Dubai o encantamento é grande: construções antigas resguardam o local mais antigo de Dubai, onde iniciou a cidade e que conserva até hoje muitas residências de arrojadas formas arquitetônicas com um característico e funcional sistema de ventilação estabelecido numa torre. No Bur Dubai fica o Museu de Dubai, uma visita imperdível, onde encontramos toda ancestralidade de cidade, a bela história de seu povo…

Atualmente, muitas casas antigas sediam restaurantes, exposições de artes, feiras, museus diversos como o Museu do Café…

Além disso, você se depara a todo instante com uma mesquita: Dubai possui cerca de 600 mesquitas! Basta você olhar para o alto e já vê um minarete ao seu lado! No Mês da Ramadan, os muçulmanos rezam 5 vezes ao dia:

acordávamos todos os dias às 4h20 ou 4h30 da manhã, nos primeiros raios de sol, com as sonoras orações propagadas ao redor, vindas de uma mesquita.

Podemos nos deparar, também, com um acampamento de beduínos, com camelos de duas corcovas, com falcões, tudo em pleno Bur Dubai!

No dia seguinte, fomos de metrô para Downtown, onde estava agendada uma visita ao Burj Khalifa, o edifício mais alto do mundo.

As estações de metrô são um espetáculo à parte: cada uma mais bela que a outra. Em quase todas, a história de Dubai é contada através de fotos enormes, como se fossem murais.

Tudo muito organizado, limpo e seguro!

A vista lá de cima do Burj Khalifa é muito bela: tem-se a dimensão da área desértica e plana, hoje já povoada, e a visão do golfo pérsico que os dubaienses preferem chamar de golfo arábico. Esta visita valeu o dinheiro pago. Compramos o ingresso antecipadamente, pela internet. Tudo exemplarmente organizado.

Em seguida, ficamos no Dubai Mall e fomos ao Aquário. É uma visita interessante, mas, não indispensável; melhor que isto é assistir ao jogo sincronizado de luzes na Dubai Fountain, num lago artificial, tendo como pano de fundo o Burj Khalifa que, também, apresenta-se com um jogo de luzes que produz um efeito espetacular para os visitantes.

No dia seguinte, fomos visitar o Za’abel Park, uma maravilhosa área verde, florida e relaxante.

Zabeel Park

Ao seu lado foi construída a maior moldura do mundo: the Frame. Sua grandeza se destaca não só pelo tamanho, mas, pelo belo dourado de seu revestimento que, ao pôr do sol, reluz tal qual o ouro. Você pode subir e atravessar de um lado para o outro. Optamos por não fazê-lo, já que a travessia é extensa e sobre um piso de vidro, o que poderia nos causar algum desconforto. Além disso, subir até lá e atravessar de um lado a outro custa Dh140!

O passeio para Abu Dhabi foi interessante: o museu do Louvre, o parque da Ferrari, a Grande Mesquita. A Grande Mesquita é muito suntuosa, de uma riqueza de detalhes do teto ao piso. Porém, não me seduziu tanto. O Museu do Louvre é sombrio, embora apresente uma arte esplendorosa. Pessoalmente e guardada as características de cada um, prefiro revisitar o Museu de Dubai. O Parque temático da Ferrari é só para os aficionados; não me impressionou. Não voltaria a visitar Abu Dhabi.

De igual modo, dispensaria a visita ao deserto – através de agências: tudo muito mercantilizado, fora de contexto. Esperávamos uma visita a um acampamento de beduínos, tudo bem caracterizado. O que vimos foi uma adaptação de tudo o que era antes, revestido de uma modernidade que não encanta. Para mim, dispensável.

No dia seguinte fomos visitar o WAFI City, um luxuoso complexo de hotel design, residencial, com restaurantes e uma área comercial equipada com pirâmides, hieróglifos e estátuas de Ramsés e Anubis, tudo no estilo do antigo Egito, localizado a leste de Bur Dubai; outra visita imperdível!

Terminamos nossa visita com um breve retorno ao Bur Dubai, onde a cidade começou, onde também começou nossa caminhada e consagramos nosso passeio com uma travessia no Dubai Creek, de volta ao hotel pois, às 23h00 deveríamos encontrar outras duas brasileiras para iniciarmos nossa excursão ao Japão.

Dubai é inesquecível e muito sedutora, mais pela parte clássica ou antiga do que pela parte moderna – de arranha céus imponentes.

Ainda sinto o sabor do suco de romãs com limão, hortelã, gelo picado e soda!

Wir planen unseren fünftägigen Aufenthalt in Dubai bis ins kleinste Detail und auf eigenes Risiko.

Wir verließen Natal um 17.00 Uhr mit einem Direktflug von Gol nach Rio und kamen gegen 20.00 Uhr in Galeão an. Wir mussten dann 6 Stunden auf den Flug nach Dubai warten, der am nächsten Morgen um 2:00 Uhr stattfand.

Unser Flugzeug kam von Buenos Aires und die Belegung des Flugzeugs war 100%! Der Service an Bord und das Handling der Kommissare waren vorbildlich, die Sitze waren jedoch sehr unbequem und eng. Immerhin waren es 14 Stunden Flug nach Dubai!

Dubai ist zeitlich 7 Stunden Brasilien voraus. Auf diese Weise kamen wir um 16:00 Uhr Ortszeit Brasília an, Dubaizeit 23 Uhr.

Pracht und Gröβe drängen sich in unsere Augen beim Gang durch den Flughafen. Die Zoll- und Transitservices waren schnell und effektiv. Schnell und praktisch war auch ein Chip von ETISALAT gekauft ohne jegliche Sprachprobleme.

Wir nahmen ein Taxi zu unserem Hotel, dem Best Western Pearl Plus Creek, das sich am Ufer des Dubai Creek befindet: nur 15 Minuten, und wir zahlten 40 Dirham, geteilt durch 4 Personen zum Kurs von 1Dh = R $ 1.40

Unser Taxifahrer war wie ein Muslim gekleidet, sprach wenig aber war kompetent am Steuer.

Wir kamen im Hotel an und richteten uns in einem Zimmer für 4 Personen ein. Exellente Einrichtungen, ein sehr freundlicher Empfang (wir hatten dieses Hotel 6 Monate zuvor über die Hotels.com-Website gebucht). Von der obersten Etage genossen wir dann die Aussicht und feierten mit einem Drink unsere Ankunft.  Die Aussicht von oben war auf jeden Fall ein Plus!

Wir sahen wir den Dubai Creek Kanal, Schiffe in ihren verschiedenen Modellen, einige sehr stilvoll, einfachere, die an die Provinzstadt der Vergangenheit erinnern, schließlich ist das moderne Dubai nur 30 Jahre alt!

In der Ferne sahen wir den großartigen Rahmen – Dubai Frame, den größten Rahmen der Welt.

Übrigens ist alles, was wir im modernen Dubai gesehen haben, “das größte der Welt!”.

Ein paar Stunden später und nach verdientem Schlaf ging es zum   Frühstück: Früchte, viele Datteln, Aprikosen, Granatapfel, einige scharf gewürzten Speisen, verschiedene Bohnen, Quark, kurz gesagt, alles, was charakteristisch ist für die arabische Welt. Nach dem Frühstück brechen wir auf.

Wir beginnen unseren Rundgang in Deira, wo das Hotel ist, das   älteste Viertel  in der Stadt, enge Gassen,

viel Handel,

nostalgischen Gebäude, verschiedene Souks , Märkte und das alles unter einer sengenden Hitze!

Oh, ich vergaß zu erwähnen, dass wir uns im Ramadan befanden, dem Fastenmonat der Muslime waren, der am 4. Mai begann und am 5. Juni endete. In dieser Zeit isst man tagsüber nicht, raucht und trinkt man nicht, und sogar Ausländer sollten es nicht in der Öffentlichkeit tun, erst nach Sonnenuntergang. Wir konnten nur hinter Vorhängen oder Planen essen und trinken.

Wir wurden informiert, dass in dieser Zeit der Handel insgesamt   zurückgeht und die Straßen für die Touristen ruhiger werden.

Wir verbrachten den Tag damit unterschiedliche Orte kennenzulernen und die alten Häuser der Scheichs,

die Märkte  und die rustikalen Architektur von unvergleichlicher Schönheit zu schätzen und zu genießen.

Am nächsten Tag fuhren wir nach Bur Dubai auf der anderen Seite des Kanals. Wir nahmen ein “abra”, ein kleines Boot, das den Kanal überquert und 24 Stunden funktioniert. Der Preis ist 1 DH.

In Bur Dubai angekommen wird man quasi verzaubert, großartig: Altbauten schützen den ältesten Ort in Dubai, an dem die Stadt gegründet wurde, und beherbergen immer noch viele Häuser mit kühnen architektonischen Formen mit einem charakteristischen und funktionalen Lüftungssystem in einem Turm. In Bur Dubai befindet sich das Dubai Museum, ein unverzichtbarer Besuch, in dem wir alle Vorfahren der Stadt, die schöne Geschichte seiner Menschen finden

…Heute beherbergen viele alte Häuser Restaurants, Kunstausstellungen, Messen, Museen wie z.B. das Kaffeemuseum …

Außerdem stößt man immer auf eine Moschee: Dubai hat ungefähr 600 Moscheen! Schauen Sie einfach nach oben und Sie sehen immer ein Minarett an Ihrer Seite! Im Monat Ramadan beten die Muslime fünfmal am Tag:

Wir wachten jeden Tag um 4:20 oder 4:30 Uhr mit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen auf, und die lauten Gebete verbreiteten sich von einer Moschee aus.

Wir stieβen auch auf ein Beduinenlager, mit zweihöckrigen  Kamelen, mit Falken, und das alles in  Bur Dubai!

Am nächsten Tag fuhren wir mit der U-Bahn in die Innenstadt, wo der Burj Khalifa, das höchste Gebäude der Welt, besichtigt werden sollte.

Die U-Bahnstationen sind ein Spektakel: Jede ist schöner als die andere. In fast allen wird die Geschichte Dubais durch riesige Fotos erzählt, so als wären es Wandgemälde.

Alles sehr organisiert, sauber und sicher!

Die Aussicht von oben aus dem Burj Khalifa ist sehr schön: Man erkennt die Ausmaße des verlassenen und flachen Geländes, das jetzt bewohnt ist, und man hat den Anblick des Persischen Golfs, den die Dubaiians (oder Emiratis) den Arabischen Golf nennen. Dieser Besuch war das Geld wert. Wir haben das Ticket im Voraus über das Internet gekauft. Alles ist vorbildlich organisiert.

Dann blieben wir in der Dubai Mall und gingen ins Aquarium. Es ist ein interessanter Besuch, aber nicht unabdingbar; besser ist die synchronisierte Sound- Lightshow der Dubai Fountain in einem künstlichen See vor dem Hintergrund des Burj Khalifa.

Bei Dunkelheit mit spektakulären Effekten für die Besucher.

Am nächsten Tag besuchten wir den Za’abel Park, eine wunderschöne grüne, blumige und entspannende Gegend.

Zabeel Park

An seiner Seite wurde der größte Rahmen der Welt gebaut: the FRAME. Seine Wirkung zeichnet sich nicht nur durch seine Größe aus, sondern auch durch die Farbe des Mantels, der bei Sonnenuntergang wie Gold glänzt.

Sie können hochfahren und von einer Seite zur anderen gehen. Wir haben uns dagegen entschieden, da der Übergang sich auf einem Glasboden befindet, was zu Unwohlsein führen kann. Das Hinauffahren und Überqueren kosten 140 DH!

Die Fahrt nach Abu Dhabi war interessant: das Louvre-Museum, der Ferrari-Park, die Große Moschee. Die Große Moschee ist sehr prächtig mit einer Fülle von Details von der Decke bis zum Boden. Aber sie hat mich dennoch nicht so sehr begeistert. Das Louvre Museum ist düster, obwohl es großartige Kunst ausstellt. Persönlich und unter Beibehaltung der jeweiligen Merkmale gehe ich am liebsten noch einmal in das Dubai Museum. Abu Dhabi würde ich nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Ebenso müssten wir nicht noch einmal die Wüste besuchen –   alles sehr kommerzialisiert, aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen. Wir erwarteten einen Besuch in einem Beduinenlager, was wir dann sahen war eine Adaption von allem, was vorher war, bekleidet mit einer Modernität, die nicht erfreut. Für mich entbehrlich.

Am nächsten Tag besuchten wir WAFI City, einen luxuriösen Wohn-Design-Hotelkomplex mit Restaurants und einem Geschäftsviertel, das mit Pyramiden, Hieroglyphen und Statuen von Ramses und Anubis im Stil des alten Ägyptens im Osten von Bur Dubai ausgestattet ist. Ein weiterer Besuch, den Sie nicht verpassen sollten!

Wir beendeten unseren Besuch mit einer kurzen Rückkehr nach Bur Dubai, wo wir zwei weitere Brasilianer treffen sollten, um unsere Reise nach Japan zu initiieren.

Dubai ist unvergesslich und sehr attraktiv, mehr bezüglich des klassischen oder alten Teils als des modernen Teils – die Wolkenkratzer.

Ich verspüre immer noch den Granatapfelsaft mit Zitrone, Minze, Crushed Ice und Soda!

We plan our five-day stay in Dubai down to the smallest detail and at our own risk.

We left Natal at 17.00 with a direct flight from Gol to Rio and arrived in Galeão around 8 PM. We then had to wait 6 hours for the flight to Dubai, which was at 2 AM the next morning.

Our plane came from Buenos Aires and the occupancy  was 100%! The service on board and the handling of the commissioners were exemplary, but the seats were very uncomfortable and tight. After all, it was a 14 hours flight to Dubai!

Dubai is 7 hours ahead of Brazil. This way we arrived at 4 PM Brasília local time, Dubai time at 11 PM.

Splendor and size are in our eyes as we walk through the airport. The customs and transit services were fast and effective. Fast and convenient, a chip from ETISALAT was purchased without any language problems.

We took a taxi to our hotel, the Best Western Pearl Plus Creek, located on the shores of Dubai Creek: just 15 minutes and we paid 40 dirhams shared by 4 people at the rate of 1Dh = R $ 1.40

Our taxi driver was dressed like a Muslim, spoke little but was competent at the wheel.

We arrived at the hotel and settled in our room for 4 people. Exellent facilities, a very friendly welcome (we had booked this hotel 6 months ago via the Hotels.com website). From the top floor we enjoyed the view and celebrated with a drink our arrival. The view from the top was definitely a plus!

We saw the Dubai Creek Canal, ships in their various models, some very stylish, simpler reminiscent of the provincial town of the past, after all, modern Dubai is only 30 years old!

In the distance we saw the great frame – Dubai Frame, the largest frame in the world.

By the way, all we have seen in modern Dubai is “the biggest in the world!”

A few hours later after a good night’s sleep we went to breakfast: fruits, many dates, apricots, pomegranate, some spicy foods, various beans, quark, in short, everything that is characteristic of the Arab world. After breakfast we leave.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we were in Ramadan, the month of fasting for the Muslims, which began on May 4 and ended on June 5. During this time you do not eat during the day, you do not smoke and drink, and even foreigners should not do it in public, only after sunset. We could only eat and drink behind curtains or tarpaulins.

We have been informed that during this time the trade is decreasing and the roads are getting quieter for the tourists.

We spent the day exploring different places and appreciating and enjoying the sheikh’s old houses,

markets and rustic architecture of incomparable beauty.

The next day we drove to Bur Dubai on the other side of the canal. We took an “abra”, a small boat that crosses the canal and works 24 hours a day. The price is 1 DH.

Once you arrive in Bur Dubai, you are virtually enchanted, magnificent: old buildings protect the oldest city in Dubai where the city was founded, and still show many houses with bold architectural forms with a characteristic and functional ventilation system in a tower. The next day we took the subway to downtown, where the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, was to be visited.

The subway stations are a spectacle: each one is more beautiful than the other. In almost all the history of Dubai is told through huge photos, as if they were murals.

Everything very organized, clean and safe!

The view from the top of the Burj Khalifa is very beautiful: you can see the scale of the deserted and flat terrain that is now inhabited, and you have the sight of the Persian Gulf that the Dubaiians (or Emiratis) call the Arabian Gulf. This visit was worth the money. We bought the ticket in advance via the internet. Everything is organized in an exemplary way.

Then we stayed in the Dubai Mall and went to the aquarium. It is an interesting visit, but not indispensable; better is the synchronized sound & light show of the Dubai Fountain in an artificial lake against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa.

The next day we visited Za’abel Park, a beautiful green, flowery and relaxing area.

Zabeel Park

At his side was built the largest frame in the world: the FRAME. Its effect is not only characterized by its size, but also by the color of the coat, which shines like gold at sunset.

You can get up there and go from one side to the other. We decided against it, because the transition is on a glass floor, which might lead to some discomfort. The ascent and crossing cost 140 DH!

The trip to Abu Dhabi was interesting: the Louvre Museum, the Ferrari Park, the Great Mosque. The Great Mosque is really very grand with a wealth of details from the ceiling to the floor. But she did not really impress me so much.

The Louvre Museum for me is grim, though it exhibits great art.

Personally and keeping the respective characteristics, I prefer to return to the Dubai Museum. I would not visit Abu Dhabi again.

Likewise, we would not have to visit the desert again – all very commercialized, taken out of context. We were expecting a visit to a Bedouin camp, what we then saw was an adaptation of everything that was before, clothed with a modernity that does not please. Dispensable for me.

The next day we visited WAFI City, a luxury residential design hotel complex with restaurants and a business district, featuring pyramids, hieroglyphics and ancient Egyptian-style statues of Ramses and Anubis in Bur Dubai East. Another visit you should not miss!

We ended our visit with a short return to Bur Dubai, where we were to meet two more Brazilians to initiate our trip to Japan.

Dubai is unforgettable and very attractive, more in terms of the classic or old part than the modern part – the skyscrapers.

I still feel the pomegranate juice with lemon, mint, crushed ice and soda!

Confesso que o Nepal nunca foi um destino que estava na minha lista de lugares para conhecer antes de morrer, porém, Erich incluiu esse destino na nossa viagem ao redor do planeta.

Achei a ideia interessante, pois para quem gosta de viajar, sempre vale a pena visitar novos destinos, mesmo até aqueles que estão próximos da nossa casa. Imagine o Nepal, na Ásia, um continente cheio de mistérios e belezas!

Não sabia muito sobre o Nepal, tinha conhecimento que o país possui muitos templos,

está vizinho a China, ao Tibete e a Índia e que é no Nepal onde está localizado o pico do Everest, o cume mais alto do mundo, na Cordilheira do Himalaia.

Conhecendo pouco sobre esse país (não tive tempo de ler mais sobre ele), desembarquei em Katmandu, numa noite fria de janeiro.

As primeiras impressões da cidade fui captando da janela do carro, quando estava indo para o hotel: ruas sem iluminação pública ou com pouca luz, não pavimentadas, vias estreitas e por aí vai…

Nos dias seguintes pude ver e sentir a face verdadeira da cidade: trânsito caótico,

ruas apinhadas de pessoas (afinal Nepal tem aproximadamente 29,3 milhões de habitantes, com densidade demográfica em torno de 208,3 hab./km²),

uma poeira permanente no ar (vi muita gente de máscara), algumas área da cidade sujas, rios poluídos, mortos. Mas, mesmo assim, vi um lado belo e exótico de Kathmandu: os belos templos, stupas budistas, santuários e palácios.

Há também os templos hinduístas. Afinal, a maioria da população segue essa religião.

Eu gostei mais das edificações budistas, sinto uma admiração por essa religião. Lembro bem de como me emocionei quando entrei na principal sala do mosteiro budista Thrangu Tashi Yangtse (no topo da montanha Gandha Mala Hill), vi e senti o olhar pacífico e amoroso de Buda, cuja estátua preenchia aquele espaço de luz e energia positiva.

Demorou um tempo para eu entender sobre a cidade de Kathmandu e concluir que no meio daquela agitação, há lugares, que Erich

chamou de “ilhas de paz”, que são os hotéis, restaurantes, onde você pode sentir um clima de tranquilidade. Senti esse sentimento quando me sentei no terraço de uma cobertura de um restaurante localizado em frente a Bouddhanath Stupa durante o entardecer.

Vi os olhos de Buda observando o mundo e senti que o lugar era realmente especial.

Li em algum lugar que se você pretende viajar ao Nepal é necessário ter paciência e eu completo: estar aberto para mergulhar em um mundo de tradições, religiosidade cores e cheiros! Namastê! (Saudações da Índia).

NOTA: Além de Kathmandu, visitamos as seguintes cidades nos arredores: Kirtipur (cidade histórica medieval), Bhaktapur (foi a capital do Nepal até à segunda metade do século XV),

Chobhar, Dakchihinkali, Pharping, Durkihiel. Mas, isso é assunto para outros posts.

NEPAL – MEINE EINDRÜCKE

Ich gebe zu, dass Nepal nie ein Reiseziel auf meiner Liste der Orte war, die ich in meinem Leben einmal besuchen wollte, aber Erich hat dieses Ziel in unsere Reise „einmal um unseren Planeten“ aufgenommen.

Ich fand diese Idee interessant, denn für diejenigen, die gerne reisen, lohnt es sich immer, neue Ziele zu besuchen, auch solche ganz in der Nähe unseres Hauses. Stellen Sie sich Nepal in Asien vor, ein Kontinent voller Geheimnisse und Schönheiten!

Ich wusste nicht viel über Nepal, ich wusste, dass das Land über viele Tempel verfügt,

es ganz in der Nähe von China, Tibet und Indien gelegen ist und es ist in Nepal, wo sich auch der Gipfel des Mount Everest im Himalaya befindet, der höchste Berg unserer Erde.

Da ich also wenig über dieses Land wusste, (ich hatte keine Zeit, mehr darüber zu lesen), landete ich in einer kalten Januarnacht in Kathmandu.

Die ersten Eindrücke der Stadt bekam ich beim Blick durch das Autofenster auf dem Weg zum Hotel, keine oder nur spärliche Straßenbeleuchtung, unbefestigte, schmale Straßen und so weiter und so fort…

In den folgenden Tagen konnte ich dann das wahre Gesicht der Stadt sehen, und Ja, fühlen: ein chaotischer Verkehr,

überfüllte Straßen mit Menschen (immerhin hat Nepal etwa 29 Mio. Einwohner mit einer Bevölkerungsdichte von 208 Einw./km²),

permanentem Staub in der Luft  (ich sah viele Menschen mit Masken),  einige schmutzige Stadtviertel, verdreckte Flüsse, tot.

Aber ich sah auch die schöne und exotische Seite von Kathmandu: die buddhistischen Tempel und Stupas, Schreine und Paläste.

Es existieren auch hinduistische Tempel, immerhin folgt die Mehrheit der Bevölkerung dieser Religion.

Mir gefielen die buddhistischen Gebäude mehr, ich empfinde eine gewisse Bewunderung für diese Religion. Ich erinnere mich sehr gut an meine Begeisterung, als  ich die Haupthalle des buddhistischen Klosters Thrangu Tashi Yangtse eintrat, oben auf dem Gipfel des Berges Gandha Mala Hill gelegen, ich sah und fühlte den friedlichen und liebevollen Blick von Buddha, dessen Statue füllte den Raum mit Licht und positiver Energie.

Es hat eine Weile gedauert, bis ich die Stadt Kathmandu verstanden habe und zu dem Schluss gekommen bin, dass es inmitten dieser Hektik Orte gibt, die Erich

“Inseln des Friedens” nennt, also bestimmte Hotels, Restaurants, in denen man ein gewisses Klima der Ruhe verspüren kann.

Ich fühlte dieses Empfinden sehr stark, als ich in der Abenddämmerung auf der Dachterrasse eines Restaurants gegenüber der Bouddhanath Stupa saß.

Ich sah wie die Augen Buddhas die Welt beobachteten und spürte, dass dieser Ort wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes war.

Ich hatte irgendwo gelesen, dass man Geduld haben muss, wenn man nach Nepal reisen will, und ich vervollständige es: Seien Sie offen dafür, in eine Welt voller Traditionen, Farben und Gerüche einzutauchen! Namastê! (Gruβgeste aus Indien stammend)

NEPAL – MY IMPRESSIONS

I admit that Nepal has never been a destination on my list of places I once want to visit in my lifetime, but Erich has included this goal in our journey “once around our planet“.

I found this idea interesting because for those who like to travel, it is always worthwhile to visit new destinations, including those close to our home. So imagine Nepal in Asia, a continent full of secrets and beauties!

I did not know much about Nepal, I knew that the country has many temples,

it is very close to China, Tibet and India, and it is in Nepal where the summit of Mount Everest in the Himalayas is located, the highest mountain of our earth.

Since I did not know much about this country (I did not have time to read about it), I landed in Kathmandu on a cold January night.

The first impressions of the city I got when looking through the car window on the way to the hotel was no or only sparse street lighting, unpaved, narrow streets and so on and so on …

In the following days I could see the true face of the city, and yes, feel too: chaotic traffic,

crowded streets with people (after all, Nepal has about 29 million inhabitants with a population density of 208 inh. / Km²),

permanent dust in the air ( I saw many people wearing masks), some dirty neighborhoods, dirty rivers, dead.

But I also saw the beautiful and exotic side of Kathmandu: the Buddhist temples and stupas, shrines and palaces.

There are also Hindu temples, after all, the majority of the population follow this religion.

I liked the Buddhist buildings more, I feel a certain admiration for this religion. I remember very well my enthusiasm when I entered the main hall of the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Buddhist Monastery, situated on top of the Mount Gandha Mala Hill, I saw and felt the peaceful and loving gaze of Buddha, whose statue filled the room with light and positive energy.

It took a while for me to understand the city of Kathmandu and come to the conclusion that in the midst of this hustle and bustle there are places that Erich calls

“islands of peace”, that is, certain hotels, restaurants with a certain climate of feel calm. I felt this very strongly when I sat on the roof terrace of a restaurant opposite the Bouddhanath Stupa at dusk.

I saw Buddha’s eyes watching the world and felt that this place was a really special one.

I read somewhere that you have to be patient when traveling to Nepal, and I complete it: be open to immersing yourself in a world of traditions, colors and smells! Namaste! (Greeting-gesture from India)

Ao redor do mundo em 66 dias – uma conclusão

Foi uma jornada de tirar o fôlego, inesquecível, como foi mencionado várias vezes, foi a realização do meu sonho de infância e juventude.

Trabalhei por quase um ano desenvolvendo nossa rota, planejando nosso total de 21 voos que nos levariam através de 4 continentes com todas as suas atrações culturais e naturais e idiossincrasias.

A coordenação das reservas de todas as nossas acomodações nem sempre foi uma tarefa fácil.

Além disso, na medida do possível, tentei reservar todas as atividades e excursões com antecedência, de modo a não perder nenhum tempo desnecessário nos destinos.

Foi importante cuidar de todas as questões financeiras envolvidas, condições do visto, vacinas e riscos à saúde, também uma certa aptidão física e mental, é muito útil nas mais diferentes condições climáticas, e não esquecer as habilidades em línguas, pelo menos no inglês.

Por um lado, toda essa fase de planejamento foi muito emocionante, permite que você comece a sonhar com a viagem, foi uma fase divertida – pelo menos foi assim para mim.

Em resumo, podemos dizer que viajamos por quatro continentes:

Europa, América, Oceania e Ásia

Nós visitamos os seguintes 11 países:

Portugal, Alemanha, Inglaterra, Chile, Taiti, Nova Zelândia, Austrália, Singapura, Nepal, Emirados Árabes Unidos e Irlanda

Como resultado adicional, os seguintes números podem ser nomeados, os quais tentam esclarecer alguns fatos de tal turnê mundial.

Pode-se pensar que uma viagem mundial como a nossa em 66 dias oferece muito tempo para resolver tudo de uma forma descontraída e confortável, mas infelizmente não é esse o caso e eu explico o porquê.

Durante toda a viagem, visitamos um total de 26 destinos individuais (por exemplo, na Austrália, dos quais 5 são Tasmânia, Melbourne, Sydney, Blue Mountains e Ayers Rock). Se adicionarmos esses 26 destinos de viagem aos 66 dias da duração total, isso resultará em uma estadia de apenas 2,6 dias por destino, o que também inclui as viagens aéreas / transferências de país para país. Além disso, há mudanças climáticas e também de fuso horário, o que causa o fenômeno de jet lag.

Um planejamento muito bom e a satisfação final com a jornada realizada correlacionam-se entre si a um grau extremamente alto.

No final, novamente, um conselho simples, muito importante e bem-intencionado, a menor quantidade de bagagem possível evita muitas dores de cabeça, perda de tempo para arrumá-las e custos nas diferentes companhias aéreas.

Desejamos a todos que amam viajar, conhecer nossa terra natal, nosso planeta ameaçado um pouco melhor, aproveitar e se divertir muito nas próximas viagens!

In 66 Tagen einmal um die Welt – ein Fazit

Es war eine atemberaubende, unvergessliche Reise, wie schon mehrmals erwähnt, es war die Erfüllung meines Kindheits- und Jugendtraumes.

Ich arbeitete fast ein Jahr an der Entwicklung unserer Route, an der Planung unserer insgesamt 21 Flüge, die uns durch 4 Kontinente mit all ihren kulturellen und natürlichen Faszinationen und Eigenheiten bringen sollte.

Es war die Koordination und Reservierung all unserer Unterkünfte vorzunehmen, ein wahrlich nicht immer einfaches Unterfangen.

Darüber hinaus versuchte ich soweit als möglich alle Aktivitäten, Exkursionen, Ausflüge im Voraus zu buchen, um einfach an den Zielorten keine unnötige Zeit zu verlieren.

Nicht zu vergessen, sich rechtzeitig um all die involvierten Geldangelegenheiten, Visakonditionen, Impfungen und Gesundheitsrisiken zu kümmern, auch eine gewisse Fitness, mental wie physisch, ist bei den unterschiedlichsten Klimabedingungen sehr hilfreich, und nicht zu vergessen Sprachkenntnisse, zumindest Englisch.

Diese gesamte Planungsphase war einerseits sehr spannend, lässt einen im Vorfeld der Reise vieles über- und andenken und macht andererseits riesig Spaβ – so ging es mir zumindest.

Zusammenfassend lässt sich folgendes sagen: wir waren in 4 Kontinenten unterwegs, die da waren:

Europa, Amerika, Ozeanien und Asien.

Folgende 11 Länder haben wir hierbei besucht:

Portugal, Deutschland, England, Chile, Tahiti, Neuseeland, Australien, Singapur, Nepal, die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate und Irland.

Als weitere Bilanz lassen sich folgende Zahlen benennen, die versuchen, einige Fakten solch einer Weltumrundung näher zu beleuchten.

Man könnte nun denken, daβ eine Weltreise wie unsere in 66 Tagen ungemein viel Zeit offeriert, um alles ganz entspannt und gemütlich angehen zu können, dem ist jedoch leider nicht so und ich erkläre warum.

Auf der gesamten Reise haben wir insgesamt 26 individuelle Reiseziele besucht (z.B. in Australien deren 5 wie Tasmanien, Melbourne, Sydney, die Blue Mountains und Ayers Rock). Rechnet man diese 26 Reisedestinations auf die 66 Tage der Gesamtdauer an, dann ergibt sich pro Reiseziel eine Verweildauer von nur 2,6 Tagen, darin sind dann auch die Flugreisen/Transfers von Land zu Land miteingerechnet. Hinzu kommen noch oftmals erschwerend all die Zeit- und Klimaumstellungen, eben das Jetlag-Phänomen.

Eine sehr gute Planung und abschlieβende Zufriedenheit über die realisierte Reise korrelieren also in extrem hohem Maβe miteinander.

Am Ende noch einmal ein einfacher, ganz wichtiger und gutgemeinter Ratschlag, so wenig Gepäck wie möglich erspart viele Kopfschmerzen, Zeit beim immer wieder Kofferpacken und Kosten bei den verschiedenen Airlines.

Wir wünschen nun allen, die es lieben zu reisen, um unsere Heimat, eben unseren bedrohten Planeten ein bisschen näher kennenzulernen und wertzuschätzen, alles, alles Gute und viel Spass bei all den nächsten Reisen.

Around the world in 66 days – a conclusion

It was a breathtaking, unforgettable journey, as mentioned several times, it was the fulfillment of my childhood and youth dream.

I worked for almost a year on the development of our route, planning our total of 21 flights that would take us through 4 continents with all their cultural and natural fascinations and idiosyncrasies.

It was the coordination and reservation of all our accommodations to make a truly not always easy task.

In addition, as far as possible, I tried to book all activities, excursions, trips in advance, so as not to lose any unnecessary time at the destinations.

Not to forget to take care of all the money matters involved, visa conditions, vaccinations and health risks in time, also a certain fitness, mentally as well as physically, is very helpful in the most different climatic conditions, and not to forget language skills, at least English.

On the one hand, this whole planning phase was very exciting, lets you pass over and remember a lot in the run-up to the journey and, on the other hand, it’s a lot of fun – at least that’s how it was for me.

In summary, we could say that we were traveling in 4 continents that were there:

Europe, America, Oceania and Asia

We visited the following 11 countries:

Portugal, Germany, England, Chile, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates and Ireland

As a further result, the following numbers can be named, which try to shed light on some facts of such a world tour.

One might think now that a world trip like ours in 66 days offers a lot of time to tackle everything in a relaxed and comfortable way, but unfortunately that is not the case and I explain why.

During the entire trip we visited a total of 26 individual destinations (for example in Australia, 5 of which are Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Ayers Rock).

If one adds these 26 travel destinations to the 66 days of the total duration, this results in a stay of only 2.6 days per destination, which also includes the air travel / transfers from country to country.

In addition, there are often aggravating times and climates, just the jet lag phenomenon.

A very good planning and final satisfaction with the realized journey correlate with each other to an extremely high degree.

At the end again a simple, very important and well-intentioned advice, as little luggage as possible saves a lot of headaches, time in packing cases and costs at the different airlines.

We wish now all those who love to travel, to get to know our homeland, our threatened planet a little bit better and to appreciate, all, all the best and have fun with all the next trips.

SERRA DO RIO DO RASTRO E SEUS ARREDORES

Quem nos conhece sabe que Erich e eu acreditamos que o Brasil possui paisagens espetaculares e foi por isso que publicamos o nosso livro 66 x Brasil onde enfocamos algumas das muitas belezas da terra brasileira. Dizemos que o Brasil é um país de muitas cores, cheiros e belezas! Dentre esses lugares especiais tivemos o prazer de visitar a Serra do Rio do Rastro.

Trata-se de uma serra localizada em Santa Catarina cortada pela rodovia SC-390,

com mais de 250 curvas, com subidas íngremes e mirantes com paisagens de tirar o folego.

A estrada tem 25 km e para quem vai percorrê-la pela primeira vez, o melhor é encarar a subida, que se inicia após Guatá. Subimos a serra à noite quando pudemos apreciá-la iluminada, o que a torna mais deslumbrante. Ao nosso ver a serra é linda durante a noite e também durante o dia quando é possível observar a paisagem verdejante, com flores,

cascata e em certos momentos com uma névoa.

Essa estrada está localizada entre Lauro Müller e Bom Jardim da Serra. Na altitude de 1421 metros há uma lojinha de artesanato

e uma lanchonete.É uma parada bem-vinda para tomar aquele cafezinho e comprar uma lembrancinha. Essa estrada pode ser fechada em dias de forte serração.

No topo da serra encontra-se o Rio do Rastro Eco Resort e foi lá onde nos hospedamos pela segunda vez. O lugar continua lindo e é uma sugestão de hospedagem nessa região.

Se você planejar uma viagem para essa área recomendamos que esteja de carro (você pode alugá-lo em Florianópolis e Criciúma), pois há vários atrativos que você pode conhecer como os cânions do Ronda,

das Laranjeiras, do Funil, além de cataratas.

É possível visitar o Parque Nacional de São Joaquim, a cidade de São Joaquim, vinícolas, além de visitar cooperativa de produção de maçãs,

por exemplo a Sanjo (você sabia que São Joaquim e arredores produzem maçãs para todo o Brasil?). Nas proximidades da cidade de Urubici você pode visitar o Morro da Igreja onde existe a Pedra Furada. Outro atrativo de rara beleza é a Serra do Corvo Branco. Estivemos pela segunda vez nessa área em maio de 2019 e formos informados que o acesso a essa serra estava fechado porque estão construindo uma rodovia asfaltada. Quando passamos por lá em 2012 a estrada era de terra. Dessa vez, não estávamos com carro alugado e usamos o excelente serviço de transfer do Dejair (48 9632-1312)do aeroporto de Florianópolis até ao hotel.

Fizemos um passeio até São Joaquim com Edvanio (49 9174-4898), outro serviço muito bom. Fiz um lanchinho em um local chamado Emporium, em Bom Jardim da Serra onde conheci um salgado chamado “empacotado”, uma massa recheada com queijo, delicioso!

A região da Serra do Rio do Rastro tem um clima sujeito a mudanças rápidas, tem horas que venta bastante, outras que faz mais frio, céu azul, pode chover, portanto, antes de ir, é importante verificar as condições meteorológicas do lugar, mas, definitivamente, é um lugar que vale a pena visitar para curtir um friozinho, tomar um bom vinho e apreciar o silêncio numa noite estrelada.

SERRA DO RIO DO RASTRO UND UMGEBUNG

Wer uns kennt, weiß, dass Erich und ich davon überzeugt sind, daβ Brasilien spektakuläre Landschaften zu bieten hat.

Deshalb haben wir unser Buch 66 x Brazil veröffentlicht, in dem wir einige der vielen Schönheiten des brasilianischen Landes in den Mittelpunkt stellen.

Wir sagen dort, daβ Brasilien ein Land mit vielen Farben, Gerüchen und Schönheiten ist! Unter diesen besonderen Orten hatten wir auch das Vergnügen, die Berglandschaft Serra do Rio do Rastro zu besuchen.

Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Gebirgskette in Santa Catarina, die von der Bundesstraβe SC-390 durchquert wird

mit mehr als 250 extremen Kurven, steilen Anstiegen und Aussichtspunkten auf atemberaubenden Landschaften.

Der fantastische Straßenabschnitt hat eine Länge von 25 km und für diejenigen, die ihn zum ersten Mal befahren, ist es empfehlenswert, den Aufstieg nach Guatá zu beginnen. Wir sind nachts hinaufgefahren und konnten so die tolle Beleuchtung der Serpetinenstraβe genießen.

Aus unserer Sicht ist der Berg nachts wunderschön und aber auch tagsüber, wenn es möglich ist, die grünen Landschaften mit Blumen,

Wasserfällen und zu bestimmten Zeiten mit geheimnisvollen Nebelschwaden zu beobachten.

Die Straße verläuft zwischen Lauro Müller und Bom Jardim da Serra. Auf einer Höhe von 1421 Metern gibt es einen kleinen Kunsthandwerksladen mit einer Snackbar.

Es ist ein sehr willkommener Zwischenstopp, um einen Kaffee zu trinken und ein Souvenir zu kaufen. Diese Straße kann an Tagen mit starkem Nebel gesperrt werden.

Oben auf dem Gipfel des Berges befindet sich das Rio do Rastro Eco Resort, in welchem wir nun zum zweiten Mal übernachtet haben. Der Ort ist sehr schön und ein Vorschlag für eine Unterkunft in dieser Bergregion.

Falls Sie eine Reise in diese Gegend planen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, mit dem Auto anzureisen (sie können ein solches in Florianópolis und Criciúma anmieten), da es verschiedenste Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen gibt wie die Schluchten Ronda,

Laranjeiras, Funil und eine Reihe von Wasserfällen.

Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, den Nationalpark São Joaquim, die Stadt São Joaquim, Weingüter und eine Apfelproduktionsgenossenschaft, beispielsweise Sanjo,

zu besuchen (wussten Sie, dass São Joaquim und seine Umgebung Äpfel für ganz Brasilien produzieren?).

In der Nähe der Stadt Urubici können Sie den Berg Morro da Igreja besuchen, wo sich die Felsformation Pedra Furada befindet. Eine weitere Attraktion von seltener Schönheit ist die Berglandschaft Serra do Corvo Branco.

Wir waren im Mai 2019 nun zum zweiten Mal in dieser Gegend und wurden informiert, dass der Zugang zu dieser Bergkette gesperrt war, weil die Straße asphaltiert wurde, als wir 2012 vorbeikamen war das noch nicht so.

Diesmal nutzten wir keinen Mietwagen sondern den ausgezeichneten Shuttleservice von Dejair (48 9632-1312) vom Flughafen Florianopolis zum Hotel in den Bergen (250 km).

Wir unternahmen auch einen Ausflug nach São Joaquim mit Edvanio (49 9174-4898), ein weiterer sehr guter Service.

Ich verzehrte zudem einen salzigen Snack an einem Ort namens Emporium in Bom Jardim da Serra, ein “Empacotado”, eine mit Käse gefüllte Teigtasche, einfach köstlich!

Die Region der Berge Serra do Rio do Rastro hat ein Klima, das raschen Veränderungen unterworfen ist, es gibt Stunden mit starkem Wind, andere sehr kalt, dann blauer Himmel, es kann plötzlich regnen, es ist also wichtig die Wettervorhersage zu berücksichtigen bevor Sie anreisen.

Der Ort ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, für einen kühlen Drink, einen guten Wein und einer ruhigen Nacht bei einem sternenklaren Himmel.

SERRA DO RIO DO RASTRO AND SURROUNDINGS

Anyone who knows us believes that Erich and I are convinced that Brazil has spectacular landscapes to offer.

That’s why we have published our book 66 x Brazil, in which we focus on some of the many beauties of the Brazilian country.

We say that Brazil is a land of many colors, smells and beauties! Among these special places we also had the pleasure to visit the Serra do Rio do Rastro mountain landscape.

It is a mountain range in Santa Catarina crossed by the main road SC-390

with more than 250 extreme turns, steep climbs and viewpoints on breathtaking landscapes.

The fantastic stretch of road has a length of 25 km and for those who are traveling for the first time, it is recommended to start the ascent after Guatá. We drove up at night and were able to enjoy the great lighting of the serpentines.

From our point of view the mountain is beautiful at night, but also during the day when it is possible to observe the green landscapes with flowers,

waterfalls and at times with mysterious fog.

The road runs between Lauro Müller and Bom Jardim da Serra. At an altitude of 1421 meters there is a small handicraft shop with a snack bar.

It is a very welcome stopover to have a coffee and buy a souvenir. This road can be closed on days of heavy fog.

At the top of the mountain is the Rio do Rastro Eco Resort, where we stayed for the second time. The place is very nice and a proposal for accommodation in this mountain region.

If you are planning a trip to this area we recommend that you travel by car (you can rent one in Florianópolis and Criciúma), as there are various places of interest to visit such as the canyons Ronda,

Laranjeiras, Funil and a number of waterfalls.

There is also the possibility to visit São Joaquim National Park, São Joaquim town, wineries and an apple cooperative such as Sanjo

(did you know that São Joaquim and its surroundings produce apples for all of Brazil?).

Near the town of Urubici, you can visit the mountain Morro da Igreja, where the Pedra Furada rock formation is located.

Another attraction of rare beauty is the mountain landscape Serra do Corvo Branco.

We visited the area for the second time in May 2019 and were informed that access to this mountain range was blocked because the road was paved, when we passed in 2012 it was not.

This time we did not use a rental car but the excellent shuttle service from Dejair (48 9632-1312) from Florianopolis Airport to the hotel in the mountains (250 km).

We also took a trip to São Joaquim with Edvanio (49 9174-4898), another very good service.

I ate a salty snack at a place called Emporium in Bom Jardim da Serra, an “Empacotado”, a cheese-filled dumpling, simply delicious!

The region of Serra do Rio do Rastro has a climate that changes rapidly, there are hours of strong wind, others very cold, then blue skies, it can suddenly rain, so it is important to take into account the weather forecast before you arrive.

The place is definitely worth a visit for a cool drink, a good wine and a quiet night with a starry sky.

Estamos em Frankfurt, esta Alemanha que representa a locomotiva do padrão europeu. Apesar dos seus erros do passado, hoje, apresenta-se multicultural, hospitaleira, alegre e descontraída. Enfrenta o problema imigratório, que é grande, tentando acolher com honestidade os que chegam.

Apesar do que passa a Europa, sente-se seu alto padrão de vida.

Que apesar de sua riqueza, observa-se em plena rua Zeil, principal espaço urbano da cidade, que seus habitantes vão em grande número trabalhar de bicicletas!

A sua pluralidade racial, está a olhos vistos, deixando Hitler se contorcer no túmulo!

Negros, muçulmanos, muitos do leste europeu, hispânicos, e assim vai!

Pedintes! Imigrantes, talvez latino-americanos tentando sobreviver com seu dom artístico!Às vezes você pensa que está na Itália!Ou no Brasil!

Ou de repente, o padrão germânico!

Esta é a Frankfurt, que até da guerra tirou proveito arquitetônico, unindo o passado e o presente em harmonia!

Que até romana foi um dia  e que apesar de ser sede da reforma protestante tem igrejas católicas como esta.

EINDRÜCKE EINES BRASILIANERS IN FRANKFURT

Wir sind in Frankfurt, Deutschland, das quasi  als Lokomotive die europäischen Standards repräsentiert. Trotz seiner früheren historischen Fehler präsentiert es sich heute multikulturell, gastfreundlich, fröhlich und entspannt. Es steht vor dem großen Problem der Einwanderung versuchend, diejenigen, die ankommen, ehrlich zu empfangen.

Trotz allem, was gerade in Europa geschieht, spürt man seinen hohen Lebensstandard. Trotz seines Reichtums kann man auf der Zeil, Frankfurts Haupteinkaufsmeile in der Mitte der Stadt, beobachten, wie eine groβe Zahl seiner Bewohner sich per Fahrrad zur Arbeit begeben!

Seine Rassenvielfalt ist unübersehbar und lieβe Hitler sich in seinem Grabe drehen!

Schwarze, Muslime, viele Osteuropäer, Hispanoamerikaner und so weiter!

Bettler!

Einwanderer, vielleicht Lateinamerikaner, die mit ihrer künstlerischen Begabung, zu überleben versuchen!

Manchmal denkst du, du bist in Italien!

Oder in Brasilien!

Oder plötzlich wieder mitten in deutschen Standards!

Dies ist Frankfurt, das sogar (trotz Krieg) architektonische Gewinne gemacht hat, indem es Vergangenheit und Gegenwart in Einklang gebracht hat!

Das sogar eines Tages römisch war und das trotz seiner protestantischen Reformzentrale noch solche katholischen Kirchen existieren.

So habe ich Frankfurt gesehen!

IMPRESSIONS OF A BRASILIAN IN FRANKFURT

We are in Frankfurt, Germany, which as a locomotive represents the European standards. Despite its past historical mistakes, today it presents itself multicultural, hospitable, happy and relaxed. It is facing the great problem of immigration trying to honestly receive those who arrive.

Despite what is happening in Europe, you can feel its high standard of living.

Despite its wealth, one can observe on the Zeil, Frankfurt’s main shopping street in the middle of the city, how a large number of its inhabitants go to work by bicycle!

His racial diversity is unmistakable and would let Hitler turn in his grave!

Blacks, Muslims, many Eastern Europeans, Hispanic Americans and so on!

Beggars!

Immigrants, perhaps Latin Americans, who try to survive with their artistic talent!

Sometimes you think you are in Italy!

Or in Brazil!

Or suddenly back in the middle of German standards!

This is Frankfurt, which has even (despite war) made architectural gains by uniting past and present in harmony!

That even was Roman one day and that despite being Protestant reform headquarters has Catholic churches like this.

That’s how I saw Frankfurt!

Duas surpresas encantaram nossos olhos, a primeira veio dos campos verde-amarelos, lembrando a bandeira do Brasil estendida nas terras do norte da França, através das plantações de colzas, produtoras de álcool combustível, lindos campos verde/amarelos.

Outra surpresa, ver os peregrinos rumo ao Saint-Michel.

Nós mesmos, caminhamos 6 km sobre os pântanos do Canal da Mancha, maravilhosa caminhada.

A construção do Mont Saint-Michel é semelhante a outras da Europa, tendo beleza ímpar por ser numa pequena ilha. A muralha até faz lembrar o Forte dos Reis Magos, em Natal, no Rio Grande do Norte.

A Abadia, bem no alto, tem visita proibida. Lá moram somente 8 monges, expressando a crise das igrejas no mundo. No interior do monte percebe-se a grande construção que já abrigou uma escola, prisão e até quartel.

Sobre a Normandia, parecia que estávamos numa sala de aula da 2ª. Guerra Mundial, onde de imediato valoriza-se o militarismo!

Conforta-nos as ideias que as bombas atômicas hoje, encerraram estes cenários para a Europa, pois uma 3ª. Guerra Mundial não teria vencedores… Esquecidos os horrores e bravuras dos sobreviventes, passamos a curtir as belezas naturais e a visita as falésias, que nos lembra as praias de Pipa, em Tibau do Sul no Rio Grande do Norte.

NOTA: O Monte Saint-Michel é uma ilha rochosa na foz do Rio Couesnon, no departamento da Mancha, na França, onde foi construído uma abadia e santuário em homenagem ao arcanjo São Miguel.

EINDRÜCKE DES BESUCHES VON MONT SAINT-MICHEL UND DER NORMANDIE

Zwei Überraschungen verzauberten meine Augen: die erste waren die gelbgrünen Feldern, die an die brasilianische Flagge erinnern, welche sich im Norden Frankreichs erstrecken,  Rapsplantagen, aus denen dann Ethanol-Treibstoff gewonnen wird, wahrlich wunderschöne grüngelbe Felder.

Eine weitere Überraschung war es, die Pilger auf dem Weg nach Saint-Michel zu sehen.

Ich selbst bin die 6 km über die Sumpflandschaft des Ärmelkanals gelaufen, ein wunderbarer Spaziergang.

Der Bau von Mont Saint-Michel ist ähnlich zu anderen in Europa, da er auf einer kleinen Insel liegt. Die Mauer ähnelt sogar dem Forte dos Reis Magos (Fort der Hl.3 Könige) in Natal in Rio Grande do Norte.

Die Abtei, hoch oben gelegen, unterliegt einem Besuchsverbot. Es leben nur 8 Mönche hier, ein Ausdruck mehr der weltweiten Kirchenkrise. Innerhalb des Monte kann man die großartige Gebäudeanlage sehen, in der sich einst eine Schule, ein Gefängnis und sogar eine Kaserne befanden.

Bezüglich der Normandie schienen wir uns in einem Klassenzimmer über den 2. Weltkrieg zu befinden, wo noch  Militarismus so sehr gepriesen wurde!

Wir sind mit den Gedanken zufrieden, daβ  Atombomben heute  für solche Szenarien in Europa nahezu ausgeschlossen sind, weil ein 3.Weltkrieg wohl keine Gewinner finden würde…nachdem wir dann den Schrecken und der Bravour der Überlebenden gedenkt hatten , begannen wir, die Naturschönheiten und den Besuch der Klippen zu genießen, was uns sehr an die Strände von Pipa in Tibau do Sul, Rio Grande do Norte erinnerte.

HINWEIS: Der Mont Saint–Michel ist eine felsige Insel an der Mündung des Couesnon im französischen Departement Manche, wo zu Ehren des Erzengels Michael eine Abtei und ein Schrein errichtet wurden.

IMPRESSIONS OF THE VISIT TO MONT SAINT-MICHEL AND THE NORMANDIE

Two surprises enchanted my eyes. The first came from the yellow-green fields, reminiscent of the flag of Brazil, stretched out in the northern lands of France through rape plantations producing fuel ethanol, beautiful green / yellow fields.

Another surprise was to see the pilgrims heading to Saint-Michel.

Myself I walked 6 km over the marshes of the English Channel, a wonderful walk.

The construction of Mont Saint-Michel is similar to others in Europe, having an odd beauty because it is on a small island. The wall even resembles the Forte dos Reis Magos (Fort of the holy 3 kings) in Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte.

The abbey located high above is subject to a ban on visits. Only 8 monks live here, an expression of the worldwide church crisis. Within the Monte you can see the magnificent building complex that once housed a school, a prison and even a barracks.

Regarding the Normandy we seemed to be in a classroom about the World War II, where militarism was still so much praised!

We are satisfied with the idea that atomic bombs today are almost excluded for such scenarios in Europe, because a World War III would probably not find winners … after we had then commemorated the terror and bravery of the survivors, we started to see the natural beauties and enjoying the cliffs, which reminded us very much of the beaches of Pipa in Tibau do Sul, Rio Grande do Norte.

NOTE: Mont Saint-Michel is a rocky island at the mouth of the Couesnon River in the French department of Manche, where an abbey and shrine was built in honor of the archangel Michael.

GRANADA, ANDALUCIA, ESPANHA – Março/2019

Chegamos em Madri e logo no dia seguinte pegamos um ônibus para Granada; em torno de quatro horas de viagem.

Nos hospedamos no Eurostars Catedral Hotel, excelente localização no centro histórico de Granada ao lado da belíssima Catedral e Capilla Real (túmulos dos reis católicos, Isabel e Fernando). Visitas indispensáveis.

Caminhando pelo centro histórico conhecemos o mercado árabe; Alcaiceria e também fomos aos restaurantes El Pescaíto de Carmela e Olivier, ambos muito bons.

Fomos também até a Plaza Nueva com edifícios importantes, restaurantes com mesas na calçada, show de artistas e de onde sai um trenzinho que faz um tour por toda a cidade inclusive pelo bairro árabe de Albaicin indo até a entrada de Alhambra, nos dando uma melhor visão para depois explorarmos Albaicin caminhando.

Muito interessante; ruas estreitas, escadarias e onde descobrimos o restaurante El Trillo que além da comida deliciosa, oferece uma vista linda de Alhambra; uma fortaleza/palácio da dinastia nacérida, corte do reino de Granada e o palácio de Carlos V.

O ideal é que compre o bilhete com antecedência, incluindo Generalife (Palácio de verão e jardins) e tour guiado. A visita tem duração de duas a três horas.

Granada é encantadora, com suas laranjeiras em frutos por toda a cidade.

Ficamos três dias e seguimos para Sevilha.

NOTA: Granada está localizada a 425 km de Madri, capital da Espanha, é uma cidade que testemunhou a guerra entre cristãos e mouros. Ela se orgulha de sua história e da mistura de raças e de culturas que lhe conferem originalidade e beleza refinada. A Alhambra, Generalife e Albayzín integram a lista do bens culturais tombados pela UNESCO desde 1994.

GRANADA – ANDALUSIEN, SPANIEN – März  2019

Wir kamen in Madrid an und nahmen sofort am nächsten Tag einen Bus nach Granada. Rund vier Stunden Reise.

Wir übernachteten im Eurostars Catedral Hotel, einer exzellenten Lage im historischen Zentrum von Granada, gleich neben der wunderschönen Kathedrale und der königlichen Kapelle (Grabstätten der katholischen Könige, Isabel und Fernando). Unentbehrliche Besuche.

Bei einem Spaziergang durch die Altstadt lernten wir dann den arabischen Markt, Alcaiceria, kennen und wir waren auch in den Restaurants El Pescaito von Carmela und Olivier, beide sehr gut.

Wir waren auch auf der Plaza Nueva mit wichtigen Gebäuden, Restaurants mit Tischen auf dem Bürgersteig, einer Künstlervorstellung und von dort aus fuhren wir mit einem kleinen Zug durch die Stadt, einschließlich des arabischen Viertels von Albaicin, bis zum Eingang der Alhambra. Dies verschaffte uns einen guten Überblick, später dann erkundeten wir Albaicin zu Fuss.

Sehr interessant; enge Gassen, viele Treppen und hier entdeckten wir das Restaurant El Trillo, das neben dem leckeren Essen einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Alhambra bietet; eine Festung / Palast der Naciérida-Dynastie, Hof des Königreichs Granada und der Palast von Carlos V.

Granada ist charmant mit seinen Orangenhainen in der ganzen Stadt.

Wir blieben drei Tage und fuhren dann weiter nach Sevilla.

GRANADA – ANDALUCIA, SPAIN – MARCH 2019

We arrived in Madrid and immediately took a bus to Granada the next day. About four hours journey.

We stayed at the Eurostars Catedral Hotel, an excellent location in the historic center of Granada, next to the beautiful Cathedral and the Royal Chapel (burial places of the Catholic Kings, Isabel and Fernando). Essential visits.

During a walk through the old town we got to know the Arabian market, Alcaiceria, and we were also in the restaurants El Pescaito of Carmela and Olivier, both very good.

We were also on the Plaza Nueva with important buildings, restaurants with tables on the sidewalk, an artist’s performance and from there then we took a small train through the city, including the Arab quarter of Albaicin till to the entrance of the Alhambra. This gave us a good overview, later then we explored Albaicin on foot.

Very interesting; Narrow streets, many stairs and here we discovered the restaurant El Trillo, which offers a beautiful view of the Alhambra in addition to the delicious food; a fortress / palace of the Naciérida dynasty, court of the Kingdom of Granada and the palace of Carlos V.

Ideally, you should buy the ticket in advance, including Generalife (Summer Palace and Gardens) and guide. The visit takes two to three hours.

Granada is charming with its orange groves all over the city.

We stayed three days and then drove on to Sevilla.

NOTE: Granada is located 425 km from Madrid, capital of Spain, and is a city that witnessed a war between Christians and Moors. She is proud of her history and the mixture of races and cultures that give her originality and refined beauty. De Cingapura nossa viagem nos levou, via Kuala Lumpur para outro exótico destino, Kathmandu no Nepal.

Foi uma experiência completamente nova para nós, quase um choque, assustador, medo e ao mesmo tempo estávamos absolutamente curiosos para conhecer, para saber que conhecimentos e impressões essa parte do mundo iria nos apresentar.

Depois de todas as diferentes impressões geográficas, climáticas e culturais em nossa jornada até agora, um mundo totalmente novo nos esperava aqui com seu trânsito caótico, barulho, sujeira, as consequências ainda visíveis do devastador terremoto,

em todos os lugares para não ser negligenciado improvisações de cabo,

poluição e também muita pobreza. O vídeo a seguir apresenta essas primeiras impressões.

No entanto, este país, que parece ter um “caos organizado” para nós, ofereceu um charme oculto e agradável. Eu suponho que a aura do budismo prevalecente com seus templos,

A Stupa com sua atmosfera de paz,

impondo manifestações religiosas,

as velhas cidades históricas

e, finalmente, o comportamento do próprio povo pode ser o fator decisivo, mas todo mundo realmente precisa avaliar isso por si mesmo.

O destaque maior da visita ao Nepal foi o voo panorâmico para apreciar a Cordilheira do Himalaia com vistas incríveis do mais alto pico do mundo, o Monte Everest..um experiência inesquecível!

Depois desses dias agitados e emocionantes em Katmandu e no Nepal, não perdi a oportunidade de desfrutar de uma cerveja do Everest antes de partirmos.

Nosso tour nos levou aos Emiratos Árabes Unidos, um grande contraste em termos de clima, religião, progresso, riqueza, arquitetura e orientação futura, o que é totalmente inimaginável para o Nepal.

Da janela do nosso hotel em Dubai pudemos avistar o BURJ KHALIFA,

o arranha-céu mais alto desta terra com 828 metros de altura. Em 55 segundos, você será catapultado para os decks de observação nos andares 124 e 148 com os percursos de elevadores mais longos do mundo,

de onde você pode desfrutar de uma vista deslumbrante de 360o como de um avião.

Muito impressionante também a Fonte de Dubai, água e música em perfeita harmonia em frente a um cenário arquitetônico e futurista sensacional.

Dubai fascina com todas as suas atrações, inovações e projetos, não é a minha primeira visita aqui e Marcia e eu temos certeza de visitar Dubai após a EXPO 2020 novamente para se surpreender … progresso PURO.

Num futuro próximo, nos concentraremos mais em Dubai em um post exclusivo onde  apresentaremos nossas impressões com mais detalhes.

Nós também fizemos uma viagem de um dia para Abu Dhabi,

Demos uma olhada rápida no Museu do Louvre Abu Dhabi e Marcia ficou muito impressionada com o esplendor do interior da Grande Mesquita Sheikh Zayed.

Os Emirados Árabes Unidos foram a última parada antes de retornarmos ao ponto de partida de nossa viagem de volta ao mundo, em Londres,

Estamos felizes por todas as aventuras que vivemos neste tour massivo. Também estamos muito contentes por termos feito toda a viagem em condições saudáveis e adequadas. Foi um sentimento estranho voltar ao ponto de partida.

Uma olhada no mapa do mundo com nossa rota nos deixa com uma certa gratidão

e um pouco orgulhosos.

Meu sonho de criança finalmente se tornou realidade.

HÖHEPUNKTE EINES KINDHEITSTRAUMES PART 3

Von Singapur aus führte uns unsere Reise via Kuala Lumpur zu einem weiteren und dazu sehr fremden und für uns exotisch anmutenden Reiseziel, Kathmandu in Nepal.

Es war für uns eine komplette neue Erfahrung, fast schockierend, erschreckend, angsteinflöβend und gleichzeitig absolut neugierig machend, was wohl dieser Teil unserer Erde uns an Erkenntnissen und Eindrücken bescheren werden würde.

Nach all den unterschiedlichen geographischen, klimatischen und kulturellen Eindrücken auf unserer bisherigen Reise erwartete uns hier nun eine ganz andere neue Welt mit chaotischem Verkehr, Lärm, Schmutz, den noch sichtbaren Folgen des verheerenden Erdbebens,

den überall nicht zu übersehenden Kabel-Improvisationen,

Smog und auch sehr viel Armut. Das folgende Video mag diese ersten Eindrücke zu visualisieren versuchen.

Trotzdem offerierte dieses für uns als so „organisiertes Chaos“ erscheinende Land einen verborgenen, angenehmen Charme. Ich würde vermuten, daβ die Aura des vorherrschenden Buddhismus mit seinen Tempelanlagen,

Stupen mit ihrer friedlichen Atmosphäre,

imposanten religiösen Manifestationen,

die alten historischen Städte

und schlieβlich den Verhaltensweisen der Menschen selbst hierfür den Ausschlag geben könnten, aber dies muβ wirklich jeder für sich selbst abschlieβend bewerten.

Der absolute Höhepunkt hier in Nepal war für uns jedoch der Flug entlang der Himalaya-Gebirgs-Riesen-Kette mit unglaublichen Ausblicken auf den höchsten Berg dieser Welt, den Mount Everest… ein einfach geniales, unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Nach diesen erlebnisreichen, aufregenden Tagen in Kathmandu und Nepal lieβ ich mir es nicht entgehen, noch vor unserer Weiterreise ein Everest Bier genossen zu haben.

Unsere Tour führte uns nun in die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, ein gröβerer Kontrast bezüglich Klima, Religion, Fortschritt, Reichtum, Architektur und Zukunftsorientierung ist nach Nepal absolut nicht vorstellbar.

Von unserem Hotelfenster aus in Dubai konnten wir den BURJ KHALIFA sehen,

 der höchste Wolkenkratzer dieser Erde mit 828 Metern Höhe. In 55 Sekunden wird man dann quasi mit den weltweit längsten Aufzügen zu den Aussichtsplattformen in der 124. bzw. 148. Etage hochkatapultiert,

von wo aus man dann wie aus einem Flugzeug eine atemberaubende 360o Aussicht genieβen kann.

 Sehr beeindruckend auch die Dubai Fountain, Wasser und Musik in perfektem Einklang vor einer imposanten architektonischen und futuristischen Kulisse.

Dubai fasziniert mit all seinen Attraktionen und Innovationen und Projekten, es ist nicht mein erster Besuch hier und Marcia und Ich sind uns sicher, Dubai nach der EXPO 2020 wieder zu besuchen, um zu staunen…Fortschritt PUR.

Demnächst werden wir in einem BlogPost mehr auf Dubai eingehen und unsere Eindrücke vertiefend vorstellen.

Wir machten auch einen Tagesausflug nach Abu Dhabi,

warfen dort einen kurzen Blick auf das Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi und Marcia war sehr begeistert von dem Prunk der Innenausstattung der Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate waren die letzte Station bevor wir zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Weltumrundung, London, zurückkehrten,

es war Ende November 2018 als wir in Brasilien aufbrachen, nun haben wir Ende Januar 2019.

Uns beherrscht nun ein sehr glückliches Gefühl bezüglich all unseren Abenteuern, die wir auf dieser gewaltigen Tour erlebten und v.a. dominiert das Gefühl, alles gesund und fit erlebt haben zu können.

Es war ein ganz sonderbares Gefühl genau wieder da zu sein, wo alles begonnen hatte.

Ein Blick auf die Weltkarte mit unserer Route lässt in uns eine gewisse Dankbarkeit

und auch ein biβchen Stolz aufkommen.

Mein lang gehegter Kindheits- und Jugendtraum ist schlieβlich in Erfüllung gegangen.

HIGLIGHTS OF A CHILDHOOD DREAM – PART 3

From Singapore our trip took us via Kuala Lumpur to another, foreign and exotic destination, Kathmandu in Nepal.

It was a complete new experience for us, almost shocking, frightening, scary and at the same time we were  absolutely curious to know, what knowledge and impressions probably this part oft he world will present to us.

After all the different geographic, climatic and cultural impressions on our journey so far, a whole new world awaited us here with ist chaotic traffic, noise, dirt, the still visible consequences of the devastating earthquake,

the everywhere not to be overlooked cable improvisations,

smog and also a lot of poverty. The following video may try to visualize these first impressions.

Nevertheless, this country, which seems so “organized chaos” to us, offered a hidden, pleasant charm. I would suppose that the aura of the prevailing Buddhism with its temples,

The  Stupen with their peaceful atmosphere,

imposing religious manifestations,

the old historical cities

and finally, the behavior of people themselves could be the deciding factor, but everyone really needs to evaluate this for him-/herselves.

The absolute highlight here in Nepal, however, was for us the flight along the Himalayan Mountain Giant chain with incredible views of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest … an simply ingenious, unforgettable experience.

After these eventful, exciting days in Kathmandu and Nepal I did not miss the chance to enjoy an Everest beer before we left.

Our tour took us now to the United Arab Emirates, a greater contrast in terms of climate, religion, progress, wealth, architecture and future orientation is absolutely unimaginable to Nepal.

From our hotel window in Dubai we could see the BURJ KHALIFA,

 the highest skyscraper of this earth with 828 meters height. In 55 seconds you will be catapulted to the observation decks on the 124th and 148th floors with the world’s longest lifts,

from where you can enjoy a breathtaking 360o view like from a plane.

Very impressive also the Dubai Fountain, water and music in perfect harmony in front of an impressive architectural and futuristic backdrop.

Dubai fascinates with all its attractions, innovations and projects, it is not my first visit here and Marcia and myself are sure to visit Dubai after the EXPO 2020 again to be amazed … progress PUR.

We also made a day trip to Abu Dhabi,

threw a quick look at the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi and Marcia was very impressed by the splendor of the interior of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

The United Arab Emirates were the last stop before we returned to the starting point of our round the world trip, London,

it was the end of November 2018 when we left Brazil, now we have the end of January 2019.

We now have a very happy feeling about all of our adventures that we experienced on this massive tour.  We are also very glad having done the all tour in healthy and fit conditions.

It was a very strange feeling to be back where everything had started.

A look at the world map with our route leaves us with a certain gratitude

and also a little bit of pride.

My long cherished childhood and youth dream finally came true.

Depois da experiência incrível de celebrar o Natal de 2018 em algum lugar no mar entre Nova Zelândia e Austrália, nossa viagem ao redor do mundo nos levou via Tasmânia e Melbourne à Sydney, outro ponto alto da nossa viagem de sonho.

Na tranquila ilha de Tasmania

nós passamos um agradável dia ensolarado e tivemos nossos primeiros contatos com os animados cangurus.

Via Melbourne, uma das cidades com alto grau de qualidade de vida desde muitos anos,

nós alcançamos em 30 de dezembro de 2018, outro superlativo dessa viagem, Sydney, cidade vibrante, alegre, moderna, futurista, em tempo de dar as boas vindas ao Novo Ano de 2019.

Foi de tirar o folego a vista da cidade a partir do navio na nossa chegada com a Ponte do Porto (Harbour Bridge) e a Ópera de Sydney (Sydney Opera House) com sua arquitetura fenomenal.

Não foi a minha primeira vez em Sydney, ela continua sendo definitivamente uma das minhas cidades favoritas no mundo.

A queima de fogos na entrada do Novo Ano de 2019 foi sensacional, incrivelmente linda e impressionante!

De Sydney voamos diretamente para o coração vermelho da Austrália

Para Ayers Rock, na língua dos aborígenes australianos chamada de Uluru. Nesse lugar, inicialmente ficamos chocados com a temperatura de 44oC na nossa chegada e com os muitos mosquitos, o que podem tornar viagens desesperadoras.

Este monolito é absolutamente o símbolo da Austrália e o por do sol

e o resultado do jogo de cores e luzes são espetaculares, simplesmente engenhoso.

Apreciar o entardecer apreciando Uluru tem que integrar todo programa de viagem de quem visita esse lugar.

Do Coração Vermelho da Austrália nossa viagem de volta ao mundo nos levou para Cingapura, via Perth,

 Uma metrópole do Sudeste Asiático com alta qualidade de vida e com atrações turísticas sensacionais conhecidas internacionalmente.

A cidade é famosa devido sua limpeza, segurança e desenvolvimento urbano futurístico caracterizado por projetos fantásticos. Nossa hospedagem no Marina Bay Hotel é uma dessas atrações.

E nós aproveitamos um mergulho refrescante na mais alta piscina do mundo.

É absolutamente única a vista da cidade e dos jardins “Gardens by the Bay”, as Superárvores “Super Trees”, o Domo da Flor (the “Flower Dome”) e o Jardim Botânico.

Todos eles integram a lista dos 10 mais espetaculares do mundo nas suas categorias específicas.

Eles são todos imperdíveis, todos que visitam Cingapura devem visitar essas atrações!!!

Antes da nossa jornada continuar na parte III, ainda vale a pena apreciar um Singapore Sling na piscina do alto do Marina Sands Hotel – é o coquetel frutado e picante clássico de Cingapura.

HÖHEPUNKTE EINES KINDHEITSTRAUMES (PART 2)

Nach dem unvergesslichen Erlebnis, Weihnachten 2018 irgendwo auf hoher See zwischen Neuseeland und Australien feiern zu dürfen, führte uns nun unsere Weltreise über Tasmanien und Melbourne nach Sydney, einem weiteren absoluten Höhepunkt dieser unserer Traumreise.

Auf der beschaulichen Insel Tasmanien

verbrachten wir einen angenehm sonnigen Tag und hatten den ersten Kontakt mit den quirligen Kängurus.

Via Melbourne, seit Jahren eine der führenden Cities in der Welt bezüglich Lebensqualität,

erreichten wir am 30. Dezember 2018 einen weiteren absoluten Superlativ dieser Reise, Sydney, pulsierend, vibrierend, lebensfroh, modern, futuristisch und das alles gerade rechtzeitig, um das Neue Jahr 2019 hier WILLKOMMEN zu heiβen.

Atemberaubend unser Blick am Morgen unserer Ankunft vom Schiff auf die City, den Harbour mit Brücke und die weltberühmte, architektonisch phänomenale Sydney-Oper.

Es ist nicht mein erster Besuch in Sydney, aber es ist nach wie vor definitiv eine meiner Lieblings-Cities in dieser Welt.

Sensationell war das Feuerwerk, welches uns in das Jahr 2019 begleitete. Unglaublich schön und beeindruckend.

 Von Sydney aus flogen wir dann in das ROTE HERZ Australiens

nach Ayers Rock, in der Sprache der Aborigines Uluru genannt. Hier wurden wir zunächst geschockt durch die Hitze von mehr als 44 C bei unserer Ankunft, auch Mücken konnten das Leben bei Ausflügen erschwerend gestalten.

Dieser Monolith ist schlechthin das Wahrzeichen Australiens und die Sonnenuntergänge

und die daraus resultierenden Farben- und Lichtspiele sind spektakulär, einfach genial.

Uluru oder Ayers Rock, für uns ein absolutes Muss für jeden Australienbesucher.

Vom Roten Herzen Australiens führte unsere                     Weltumrundung dann via Perth nach Singapur,

eine Metropole Südostasiens der allerhöchsten Güteklasse und vielen internationalen Top-Sehenwürdigkeiten und Highlights.

Die Stadt ist berühmt für ihre Sauberkeit, Sicherheit und ihre futuristische Stadtentwicklung mit fantastischen Projekten.

Unsere Unterkunft im Marina Bay Hotel ist nur eines davon,

und wir genossen dort oben auch ein erfrischendes Bad im höchstgelegenen Swimming-Pool eines Gebäudes dieser Welt.

Absolut einmalig auch von hier oben die Aussicht auf die Stadt und die „Gardens by the Bay“, die „Super Trees“, den „Flower Dome“ und den „Botanical Garden“.

Sie gehören alle zu den weltweiten Top-10 ihrer jeweiligen spezifischen Kategorie,

sie sind also allesamt unbedingt besuchenswert !!!

HIGHLIGHTS OF A CHILDHOOD DREAM (PART 2)

After the unforgettable experience of being able to celebrate Christmas 2018 somewhere on the high seas between New Zealand and Australia, our world tour took us now via Tasmania and Melbourne to Sydney, another absolute highlight of our dream trip.

 

On the tranquil island of Tasmania

we spent a pleasant sunny day and had the first contact with the lively kangaroos.

 

Via Melbourne, one of the leading cities in the world in terms of quality of life for years,

we reached on December 30, 2018, another absolute superlative of this journey, Sydney, pulsating, vibrant, cheerful, modern, futuristic, and all just in time to WELCOME here the New Year 2019.

Breathtaking our view on the morning of our arrival from the ship to the city, the Harbor Bridge and the world famous, architecturally phenomenal Sydney Opera House.

It’s not my first visit to Sydney, but it’s still definitely one of my favorite cities in this world.

Sensational was the fireworks, which accompanied us into the year 2019. Incredibly beautiful and impressive.

From Sydney we flew into the RED HEART of Australia

to Ayers Rock, in the language of the Aborigines called Uluru. Here we were initially shocked by the heat of more than 44 C on our arrival and even mosquitoes can make life on trips  very aggravating.

This monolith is absolutely the symbol of Australia and the sunsets

and the resulting play of colors and light are spectacular, simply ingenious.

An absolute must for every visitor to Australia.

From the Red Heart of Australia our world tour brought us via Perth to Singapore,

a metropolis of Southeast Asia of the highest quality and many top international attractions and highlights.

The city is famous for its cleanliness, security and futuristic urban development with fantastic projects.

Our accommodation at Marina Bay Hotel is just one of them

and we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the highest swimming pool in a building worldwide up there.

Absolutely unique from here the view of the city and the “Gardens by the Bay”, the “Super Trees”, the “Flower Dome” and the “Botanical Garden”.

They are all among the Top 10  worldwide in their specific category,

they are all necessarily worth visiting !!!

Before our journey continues in the next blog (PART 3), it is still worthwhile to enjoy a Singapore Sling by the pool, high above Singapore – it is the fruity and spicy cocktail classic of Singapore.

Nossa viagem de volta ao mundo começou de forma tranquila, no período que antecedeu o Natal em novembro de 2018 quando visitamos Bad Tölz e Munique.

Nosso encontro com meu filho Stefano foi o começo dessa viagem maravilhosa. Nós somente iríamos nos encontrar novamente no final da jornada em Dublin.

O voo mais longo dos 23 voos planejados para essa viagem, foi planejado para acontecer no começo, foi o voo entre Londres e Santiago no Chile, que durou 15horas.

De lá, voamos para a Ilha de Páscoa, lugar muito longe localizado no Oceano Pacífico com seus impressionantes guardiães de pedra conhecidos como “Moais”, que você encontra quase em toda parte por lá.

Nossa próxima parada foi a ilha do Taiti, que superou nossas expectativas na categoria de ilha do “Mar do Pacífico Sul”. O clima, o exuberante VERDE da natureza paradisíaca, além da simpatia do seu povo contribuíram para que aproveitássemos bastante os dias naquele lugar no fim do mundo.

 

Depois de dias relaxantes no Taiti viajamos para Auckland na Nova Zelândia, outro ponto alto da nossa viagem ao redor do mundo.

Nós curtimos muito nossos dias na moderna Auckland, conhecida como “Cidade das Velas”

e também nos divertimos na visita ao set de filmagens Hobbiton.

E também curtimos visitar o mundo termal WAI-O-TAPU Thermal Wonderland.

Nosso cruzeiro de 12 dias começou em Auckland,

outro ponto alto e inesquecível da nossa viagem onde passamos nosso Natal navegando, em algum lugar entre Nova Zelândia e Austrália, uma experiência muito especial.

Em resumo, eu descreveria Nova Zelândia como uma mistura incrível e inspiradora de um país com uma herança Maori,

com belas paisagens dos Fiordes,

praias maravilhosas, impressionantes cenários vulcânicos

e belíssimas montanhas que servem de locação para filmes.

Além disso, povo simpático, de mente aberta e prestativos.

Essa primeira parte chega ao final com imagens do nosso Natal no meio do Mar da Tasmânia…!!!

Höhepunkte eines Kindheitstraumes PART 1

Alles begann im beschaulichen, gemütlichen und vorweihnachtlichen Bad Tölz und München Ende November 2018.

Das Treffen dort mit meinem Sohn Stefano war quasi der Auftakt dieser wunderschönen Reise, ihn sollten wir dann erst wieder am Ende und zwar dann in Dublin wiedertreffen.

Den längsten aller 23 Flüge hatten wir gleich für den Beginn geplant, es waren die 15 Stunden von London nach Santiago in Chile.

 

Von dort war es dann quasi nur ein Katzensprung zur Osterinsel, weit, weit drauβen im Pazifik. Beeindruckend bedrohlich die steinernen Wächter, die sogenannten „Moai“, auf welche man auf der Insel fast überall trifft.

Unser nächster Stop war dann die Inselwelt Tahitis, die alle unsere Erwartungshaltungen des Klischees Südsee nicht nur vollends erfüllte, sondern sogar bei weitem übertraf.

Das Klima, das überbordende GRÜN der paradiesisch anmutenden Natur und Inselwelt und die Freundlichkeit der Menschen lieβen uns die Tage dort am Ende der Welt vollauf genieβen.

Nach sehr entspannenden Tagen auf Tahiti reisten wir weiter nach Auckland in Neuseeland, Neuseeland wahrlich ein weiterer Höhepunkt unserer Weltreise.

Kurzweilige Tage im modernen Auckland (Stadt der Segel)

und ein beeindruckender Tagesausflug zum Hobbiton Filmset

und WAI-O-TAPU Thermal Wonderland.

In Auckland nahm dann auch unsere 12 tägige Kreuzfahrt ihren Anfang,

ein weiteres Highlight und unvergessen, Weihnachten auf hoher See irgendwo zwischen Neuseeland und Australien, eine wahrlich ganz besondere Erfahrung.

Neuseeland würde ich zusammenfassend als unglaublich und inspirierend beschreiben, ein faszinierender überzeugender Mix von Maori-Kulturerbe,

Fjordlandschaften,

wunderschönen Stränden und einer beeindruckenden vulkanischen Natur

und einer oft als Filmkulisse dienenden Gebirgswelt.

Dazu freundliche, aufgeschlossene und stets hilfsbereite Menschen.

Part 1 möchte nun hier mit dem weihnachtlichen Höhepunkt unserer Reise mitten auf dem Tasmanischen Meer enden…!!!

It all began in the tranquil, cozy and pre-Christmas Bad Tölz and Munich at the end of November 2018.

The meeting there with my son Stefano was almost the beginning of this wonderful trip, we should only meet him again at the end and then in Dublin.

The longest of all 23 flights we had planned for the beginning, it was the 15 hours from London to Santiago in Chile.

From there it was almost a stone’s throw to Easter Island, far, far out in the Pacific. Impressively threatening the stone guardians, the so-called “Moai”, which you meet on the island almost everywhere.

Our next stop then was the island world of Tahiti, which not only completely fulfilled our expectations of the cliché South Sea, but even surpassed it by far.

The climate, the exuberant GREEN of the paradisiacal nature and island world and the friendliness of the people let us enjoy the days there at the end of the world fully.

After  very relaxing days in Tahiti we traveled on to Auckland in New Zealand, New Zealand, truly another highlight of our world trip.

We enjoyed entertaining days in modern Auckland (City of Sails)

and an impressive day trip to the Hobbiton movie set

and to the WAI-O-TAPU Thermal Wonderland.

In Auckland our 12-day cruise started

another highlight and unforgotten, Christmas on the high seas somewhere between New Zealand and Australia, a truly special experience.

In summary I would describe New Zealand as unbelievable and inspiring, a fascinating compelling mix of Maori heritage,

Fjords,

wonderful beaches and an impressive volcanic nature

and a mountain world that often serves as a film backdrop.

In addition, friendly, open-minded and always helpful people.

Part 1 now wants to end here with the Christmas highlight of our trip in the middle of the Tasman Sea…!!!
